If this news of the Chinese Military coming to Pakistan is true - it is happy news. It is news that must be rejoiced

Now, whenever, something happens in the North East, there is a way to hit back. Now the cost of subsiding TSP has gone up even more. Now they have to shed sweat & blood to protect their investment, not just hand out a more loans.

Wonder how they will react when a bus with 40 “only sons” in blown up by one of the purer Pakistanis? Wonder how many bus loads of “only sons” they can lose?

Rejoice Rakshaks, good times are here.

As mainstream media and pakis keep peddling that India is good at hitting trees, well now India can hit the Doklam trees on the western border. Indian eyes in the sky can only see doklam vegetation.

I am seeing a somewhat disturbing trend even among the old timers. Why are we probing so deeply into the identity of people on Twitter or asking repeatedly what happened at Muzaffarabad and elsewhere? Or giving out details of what our ammunition and strike capabilitiesIs are? Is our curiosity so great that we cannot wait to hear it from official sources? Remember a lot of unsavory characters visit this place and there are plenty of bots and whatnot that are analyzing every word written here. I see no sense in giving these people any opportunity to extract sensitive information from an inadvertent slip or link posted here.

We should simply enjoy the show put on by people like Bababanaras and discuss what else our forces can do to keep hammering the point home.

Maybe I am just being paranoid ......
If this is Paranoia, it's a good thing to have in these times.

FlightRadar 24 shows a Paki second hand Hercules(Ex Aussie) probably ferrying terrorists to Karachi from PNS Maruti 800.

News sites indeed reporting Chinese troops near Indo Pak border in Sindh.

Apparently 17000 troops, including 4000 SF.

These troops are not deployed to:

- Keep peace
- Reduce tensions
- deter terrorism

They have been placed to subdue India, an overt threat.

They are preventing us from hitting back the enemy after our people were butchered.

Apparently, all is fair in love and war.

Previous Indian deterrent on China border includes small offensive local action / incursion on LAC, occupying nearby heights, alerting SAM batteries and Su-30 and C-130 flights nearby.

Our armed forces were speaking of 2 front war, many dismissed this as flights of fancy, a Pakistan China link up seemed impossible in the modern information driven world.

Today, we see Chinese troops 90 km away, an entire division of the PLA.

A division count of troops is no small contingent, not easy to hide the movement - when did the PLA move in, our intel must have good details on it.

Very seriously i doubt such numbers.
the news cycle started with some unverifiable report that 17000 PLA inclusive of 4000 SF(!) are deployed in various parts of TSP to protect CPEC projects
then another news that some were deployed for security of a coal mine in sindh (which is 90km from border).
then it became 17,000 strong PLA division with heavy equipment is in sindh

by tomorrow it will be this division also has 500 Z-9 attack helis, has crossed longewalla and is expected to reach jaipur by dusk

predictably our MSM is amplifying this fake news.

---
there may be a few 1000 cpec workers in pakistan working on projects. they like to deploy their own workers at low level even in africa, not just engineering managers. and maybe a few 100 private security detail from some PLA affiliated outfit or some PLA.

cheen is only willing to fight india down to the last paki or nscn, not shed much of its own blood n treasure.

Unkil and rest of the world won't be too thrilled to hear this news. It would be an opportune time for all to step in and cut the Karakoram highway. Anyway I don't buy this story. China won't do something stupid like put their men in harms way to protect the territory of an already nuclear state, not that there is any threat from us to undisputed Paki territory. At best it may be an effort to "battle harden" some of their short-sighted mobile game playing parade boys.

my guess is thats the headcount of ppl in cpec projects around tsp. most would be in gwader, various mines, POK civil constructions...
but unlike africa, there is no much in media about what they work on and their townships.

what saar have you not seen the shiny swanky highways chinese have across teh world, they would have moved these soldiers in them on the segaways on spring day parades :P. My viewpoint is that their "this army" is their version of MNREGA in the truest traditions of Red Army and they just moved these workers wearing military fatigues. Some of them might be ex-cons, army is a very good fit to their instincts in such a controlled adn monitored society. In wartime these would be just the first wave or the cannon fodder

as Chinese involvement and commitment in CPEC start to take serious turn...it could be like soviets trapped in afghanistan!
USA could use this opportunity to proxy-screw the chinese!

i wish India would abandon it's non-alignment BS and take the side of USA as porks did against USSR in 80's.

Pakistan Government To Sell Properties Of Federal Ministries To Pay Off Debt
https://www.republicworld.com/world-new ... y-off-debt

The cash-strapped Pakistan government has decided to sell unused properties owned by federal ministries to pay off the country's mounting debts, the media reported on Wednesday, March 20. The decision was taken during a Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday, March 19 aimed at finding solutions for generating revenue and boosting up the country's paralysed economy which is already under a debt of over 27 trillion Pakistani rupees

i dont think chinese are terribly concerned about india attacking CEPC infra. In fact that is something they may secretly want. If india damages CEPC infra ( not the chinki people) , it forces pakis to slide more speedily into chinese vassalhood ( which is really the chinese long term goal). The pakis have to pay for repair of the damage with more loans and attendant delays and increased inablity to payback chinese loans. Then the only recourse is to hand over their balls into chinki hands and present their rear to the chinki masters.

M777 must have seen action. Given it's light weight, it must have been deployed very close to LC, allowing deeper hits.
