Callsign for T-50 during the first flight - "Fiery" (Огненный; Ognenniy)
Excuse me, "Fiery" is the callsign of air traffic control officer of airfield Dzemgi rather than T-50

First round at a height of 600m, the second and third at an altitude of 900m, the fourth at a height of 700m.
If take off will be carried out from runway number 01, then the plane will circle clockwise, if from number 19, then counterclockwise.
Wind Direction today (Tuesday) lets fly from the 1-st runway, Wednesday-Friday from 19-th.

. Aerodynamic configuration PAK FA is slightly more conservative compared to the F-22, but without a doubt, the car will be implemented by a set of measures to reduce its visibility in all (not just radar) physical fields. For the PAK FA is being developed not just a radar with an active grid, but an entire multi-purpose integrated radio electronic system, which will contain five built-in antennas.

Yes, the rumor is. In russian forums about military aviation some people are proclaiming that it will fly 28.02.10 at Komsomolsk-na-Amure.

Yes, the rumor is. In russian forums about military aviation some people are proclaiming that it will fly 28.02.10 at Komsomolsk-na-Amure. All Suhoi's VIPs are already there. Rumor is that even Pogosyan himself is there.
If its 28.02.10, the anticipating fanbois might end up waging jihad against Sukhoi !

Does it mean we will soon see a Russian equivalent of F 35?
Sino Indo conflict
quite likely to have a fifth-generation fighter

this is version of 1994. Yes, i think that there will be lightweigth single-engine fighter. But when - i cannot even imagine. Nowdays it's equivalent will be Mig-35.
you're jokingit's unimaginable situation. You both have nukes, you know. And even hydrogen bombs. And both of you have more than one billion brave people. Why to commit a suicide in such a complex way?
What's a PRC? Probable chinese 5-gen? Well, they are very far from it. Especially in even our's most difficult part of 5-gen-figher - the supercruise turbojet engine.
Revisit the question, it was regarding F 35 equivalent, not what was developed/in development in 1994
So should we stop collaborating with Russians in PAk FA? Stop testing A 3/5? Cancel AKULA 2 Lease?????
Go thru the article. It says Pak fa will have useful life till 2040/50. Wouldn't they(PRC) produce a 5th gen fighter till then?
Yury wrote:And by the way, it is not so cool, like probable PAKFA and nowdays F-22
Yury wrote:It will have usefull life until 2050, if it will be manufactured in middle 2020ies. Again, in terms of Sino-Indian war hi-precision ICBMs with nonnuclear warheads posess much more of a threat to Chine, than any amount of PAK FA or BlackShark.
You have Pakistan nearby - that is much more of a target for 5-gen fighter of your possession.
cool factor! in aerodynamic terms?
