Not many pics this time. Anyway, here are some that I came across:
The fifth gentleman from left is Lt Gen K T Parnaik, the present GOC-in-C Northern Command. If Gen V K Singh had continued his tenure as Army Chief into 2013, he will become the next Army Chief. What is intriguing is the flight suit + G suit he is wearing which suggests that he just flew in the twin-seater Mirage 2000 at back. Earlier Lt Gen S R Ghosh, GOC-in-C Western Command flew in a twin seater Jaguar and now we have Lt Gen K T Parnaik who flew in a twin-seater Mirage 2000. This is new, at least to me. Something is cooking.
it is essential that army commanders have a very good understanding of what joint operations really means - we have traditionally been far to separated, the joint use of air and land forces is a skill that we really have to master
^^^And we are in the process of doing so. With AAD and AF assets getting really 'fused' together. It will take some time...but just wait for another 4-5years. The C4ISR implementation is happening across all the services at a huge scale and we need time to sort out teething problems - and old dogmas and 'us-versus-them' mentality in services. Next 5 years are going to be really interesting and Services are in for a real revolution in C4ISR domain.

Is that an M16A2 with a M203 grenade launcher attached??
The lady to her left also seems to be carrying a M4 carbine.
Wow, the maoists seem to be nicely equipped with very good infantry weapon systems.
