What is with the Talibs going after the police in Pakistan with a vengeance? Is this just blind revenge for tortures? or is there a method to this madness?

No police in Pakistani cities, or police submitting to the writ of the talibs => Easy movement and penetration of the believers into the cities and towns.

It seems the attacks on police are a precursor to the final assault into pakistan - from within pakistan.

1) Defeat India in battle ( again and again and again and .. )

2) Raise the Puki flag on top of the Red Fort
3) Turn India into an Islamic Caliphate

There my friend is the actual Pooki wish list !! Everything else is means to this end.

Rebels 'kill Pakistan Islamists'

Two detained aides to radical cleric Sufi Mohammad have been killed during a militant ambush in Pakistan's Swat valley, the country's military says.

The pair, arrested on Friday, died when rebels attacked a convoy transporting prisoners to Peshawar, officials said.

The men - Muhammad Alam and Ameer Izzat Khan - were senior aides to Sufi Mohammed, the father-in-law of the Taliban leader in the Swat valley.

Perhaps they should have used a bullock cart.

LaWhori Logic

Foreign explosives used in Lahore suicide blast
OK, how can you tell?

According to the experts, the explosive material used in the suicide attack came from abroad and this material is used for cutting the mountains; therefore, a great crater was found on the blast site.

The report said the wave from the explosion was so severe that the buildings around were damaged and the water came outside the earth.

What's a few extraditions between fliends
Especially, when they are the only fliends you got!

10 terror suspects extradited to China

LAHORE: Pakistan has extradited 10 arrested terrorists belonging to the pro-independence Eastern Turkistan Islamic Movement (ETIM) to China, an Interior Ministry spokesman confirmed to The News on Friday.

Most of the ETIM militants had refuted terrorism charges, saying they were members of a Chinese separatist movement founded by Turkish speaking ethnic majority of over eight million people whose traditional homeland lies in Xingjian Uighur Autonomous Region in northwest China.

While using diplomatic channels to approach President Zardari, sources said, President Hu had expressed his concerns over the presence of the ETIM in the Pakistani tribal areas, saying they might threaten the security of over 5,000 Chinese nationals working on different development projects in Pakistan.

According to some sources in Islamabad, the Chinese militants were extradited despite opposition by the Amnesty International.

So, the pookies have now p1ssed off three groups all at once: the Ummah, the Turkish speaking natives, and the Amnesty International.

So they are not as Islamic as terrorists against India-Pakistanis as true Muslims should have no problem in turning in good Muslims protesting against an atheist, mass murdering regime. I am sure there is a hadith to assuage any pangs felt.

Monica's back..and he's saying the Us killed botoz bibi..without actually saying it...
So who did kill Benazir Bhutto?
Humayun "Clinton had monica, mushy has me" Gauhar

When the West has no cogent argument it accuses Pakistanis of wallowing in conspiracy theories. Sure people are vulnerable to conspiracy theories - I guess the most have to do with Kennedy's assassination - but who plants their seeds? Here's an example. Many believed that Benazir damaged the justification for the continued US presence in Afghanistan by saying to Sir David Frost on Al-Jazeera that Osama Bin Laden was dead, killed by Omar Saeed Sheikh, the former or current MI6 agent, God alone knows which. This view gained great currency when the BBC website first edited out Benazir's crucial sentence - one excuse was that perhaps she had "misspoken" - then apologised and restored it. I said last week: "People have heard the interview many times. Benazir said the words deliberately and cautiously, after stopping and taking a breath before uttering Osama's name. Spurious excuses such as these insult people's intelligence and beget conspiracy theories for which people are then mocked by the perpetrators of spurious excuses."
It has been alleged by President Musharraf that British born Omar Saeed Sheikh was first recruited by MI6 but then "turned". Perhaps he didn't and is a "double agent". I have never read any clarification of this from the British authorities, which also causes people to see possible conspiracies.
The Seymour Hersh kafuffle started with his startling statement, to put it mildly, at the University of Minnesota on March 10 this year. "Congress has no oversight of it. It's an executive assassination wing, essentially. And it's been going on and on and on. And just today in the Times there is a story saying that its leader, a three-star admiral named McRaven, ordered a stop to certain activities because there were so many collateral deaths. It's been going in...under President Bush's authority, they've been going into countries, not talking to the ambassador or the CIA station chief, and finding people on a list and executing them and leaving."

Greater Pakhtunistan’ map signboards appear in NWFP

PESHAWAR: Signboards with maps of “Greater Pakhtunistan” have reappeared in Bannu and Lakki Marwat districts of the NWFP, Daily Times has learnt. According to an Interior Ministry’s letter to the provincial government, a number of “objectionable signboards” displaying maps had been put up in the districts. The letter said the signboards were not only detrimental to the national integrity, but could also spark disorder in the province. The ministry also attached photographs of the signboards with the letter. According to the letter the boards have been installed on Indus Highway, Sarai Naurang and Gandi Khankhel Chowk in Lakki Marwat district; and on Bannu Link Road and Township area in Bannu district. An official told Daily Times that the authorities had asked the Bannu deputy inspector general to remove the signboards. This is the second time that such signboards have appeared in the southern districts of the province

Stop smiling, each of us owes $600

ISLAMABAD: Each Pakistani, man, woman, goat and infant owes about six hundred dollars in public debt, as Pakistan’s total debt obligation is likely to touch the $100 billion mark by the end of this fiscal 2008-09.

Every military and political administration made reckless borrowings to bridge budget deficit (revenue and expenditure gap) without thinking of the long-term consequences for the national economy.

According to pookistani planners, in the long-term, they are all dead anyway.

Rupee which depreciated by more than 30 per cent to about 80 rupees a dollar pushed down Pakistan’s per capita income to $1,071 in 2008-09 against $1,102 in previous fiscal. Madrassa Math at work

No the above 23.9% is right. Since the scale goes as follows: acute poverty, abject poverty (25%), poverty (25%), poor (25%), musharrafs (100%), dus percents and 400% percent. Only 1% are on the top 400% of the scale along with musharrafs, the rest are below that in abject poverty, 400% onleee :rotfl:

the most cruel blow of all –the annexation of Awadh in 1856 – which turned even loyal Muslim supporters of the British into discontented suspicious malcontents, if not ardent jehadis.

Well this is a Freudian slip.

The author, while writing about an unrelated subject says that Muslims (of India) show a definte transition from loyal, to "discontent and suspicion" to becoming "ardent jihadis"

This is well known to any one of us on here we have always clearly stated that such transformation is an ever present possibility.

I have a bone to pick here. The justification that is often made is that any discontent can lead to anger and violent behavior. If we accept that this is true, it is also clear that anger and violent behavior must be the characteristics of an "ardent jihadi" and all the claptrap that is thrown at us about greater jihad" and "internal" jihad is pure crap to be flushed down a convenient toilet.

Jihad IS violence. Period.

Bruce Riedel on the links of the ISI to terrorist organizations.

Riedel on Pakistani Intelligence’s Relationship to Terrorism

By Spencer Ackerman 6/4/09 3:35 PM

If Bruce Riedel, chairman of the Obama administration’s Afghanistan-Pakistan strategy review, has a bottom line as to the Pakistani Inter-Services Intelligence’s relationship with extremist groups, it’s that such relationships are deliberately murky. ISI is not a “rogue intelligence agency,” he told a crowd last night at the International Spy Museum, but instead mostly follows the prerogatives of the ruling Pakistani military or civilian leadership. “Fighting some, tolerating others and patronizing a few” is how Riedel described ISI’s relationship with various Afghan and Pakistani extremist organizations, calling such difficult contortions a sign of a “remarkable agile espionage instrument.” In other words: don’t think ISI has a capabilities problem.

The most explicit client relationship ISI maintains with such groups is with the anti-Indian terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba. “Just this week, the Pakistanis allowed the head of Lashkar-e-Taiba … [to be] released from the farce of house arrest,” he said. “Tensions between India and Pakistan are going to go up this week because of that.” And while there aren’t indications that ISI operates in such a way with al-Qaeda or the Pakistani Taliban, the terrorist groups see little problem cooperating with one another. ………………..................

I thought the true momeen can only live in the desert, for only there can they live like and follow the footsteps of Hazrat Mohammed (pbuh), and let themselves be truly inspired by his spirit. A true momeen has to feel one with his prophet.

I suggest, the whole Islamic Jamaat in Pakistan should make an appeal to kufr India to stop this contamination of the Muslims in the Land of Pure forthwith. Kufr India should take immediate steps to prevent the flow of water to Pakistan.

All this water in Pakistan has weakened the roots of Islam in the sands of Pakistan. The prophet had no use whatsoever for wheat and basmati and other cereals of the heathen and the devil. He ate only halaal food like dates, camel-milk and goat meat. This sacrilege needs to stop now!

The Kufr should stop all their devilish water to come pouring through Indus, Jhelum and Chenab. The Purelanders want their sand back.

The way out of the nuclear dilemma is easy. Pakistan and India should enter into a ‘no-use-of-the-bomb’ kind of a pact and put their arsenals under international supervision. Surely, neither side would like to see Delhi and Lahore reduced to rubble and a million killed or crippled for generations.

^ If pakistan is desperate to dump its liablity it can call on IAEA to help in safely disposing off them.
IAEA will provide pakistan with a nicely framed certificate of being nuke naked, no need to bring in kafir india and usa in this project for world peace and end to nuclear black-marketing and blackmail. Only side effect is bags with name of tailors from islamabad will no longer be found with nuclear scientists of rogue nations.

This is not a trivial problem, and, certainly not just an Indo-Pak problem. Food and water are expected to be prime reasons to go to war among plenty of nations, including potentially Indo-China and Indo-BD.

RajeshA-ji,

This resident brobhet had a revelation last night when he was in londonisthan...

The Sindhu river is a yindoo river and is originated in kafr himalayas where kufr-god Shiva lives. Bagheeratha brought akashaganga and it became sindhu and ganga rivers. Thus it is anti-islam by nature. The only halal rivers in this world are nile, tigris and euphraties.

so I declare jihad on all believers who are living on kafr sindhu river and its tributeries.

Peace be upon me.

From Wiki-Shastra:

786 might be the largest n for which the value of the central binomial coefficient is not divisible by an odd prime squared.
Iqbal Khan (Screen Name of Amitabh Bachchan in Coolie) had this number for his coolie number called Billa no. 786.
The Arabic letters of the opening phrase of the Qur'an sum to the numerical value 786 in the system of Abjad numerals. Not all Muslims place emphasis on this numerological analysis; however, some — mostly in Pakistan, India, Myanmar and Bangladesh — use 786 as a substitute for the phrase بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم bism illāh ir-raḥmān ir-raḥīm ("in the name of God, the merciful, the compassionate").

Sunil Mian,
786 is the Numerical value of BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM

Another Gem
Whosoever uses 786 with the intention to obtain Allah's blessings, is a misguided person and any attempt to justify it, is ignorance. More astonishing is that fact that '786' is an aggregation of the numbers of Hindu 'Lord Hari Krishna'. H(a)iri Kr(i)shna

h-5, r-200, r-10, k-20, r-200, sh-300, n-50, a-1 =Aggregate of 786

Thus, the aggregate number of these letters (Hari Krishna) equals 786. This is also the case of 'Bismillah Hirahmaan Niraaheem'. Therefore, it is necessary to avoid using this number to avoid the danger of being indulging in infidelity

In.Answers.Yahoo.com says
Just as Arabic is the language of the Prophet and thus has become the language of preference of the Muslims, numbers are the divine language of the Lord Almghty.

In Arabic each of the twenty eight alphabets also have a numeric value based on the Hebrew letters. This system is called ABJAD horoof or letters. Thus for example ALIF or A in Arabic has the value of 1. In Hebrew the first letter is also alef. The second letter of Arabic is Baa or Bay, which corresponds with the Hebrew letter Bet with a value of 2. The third letter in the arabic language is Tey but in Hebrew is Gemal or Jeem as in Arabic which is the fourth letter in the arabic numbers. However, following the Hebrew letters Jeem has a value of 3. These numbers then move from 1 to 9, then the next digits are 10 through 90 and then from 100 to 1000, using up all the 28 letters of the Arabic language.

ABJD hWZ Hti KLMN S'aFS QRShT ZaZZAGH are used to define the numeric value of each letter.

786 is procured from adding the value of each of the letters of the Opening title of Each Surah of the Quran which states "In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful" all the arabic letters used to state this add up to 786 by using the Abjad numeric system.

In.Answers.Yahoo.com says
It is the abjad count of the phrase "besmellahe rrahmaane rrahim"

In.Answers.Yahoo.com says
Writing '786' in place of 'Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem' is an innovation which was never taught by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) or any of the early generation of Muslims.

'786' is an aggregation of the numbers of Hindu 'Lord Hari Krishna'.

H(a)iri Kr(i)shna h-5, r-200, r-10, k-20, r-200, sh-300, n-50, a-1 = Aggregate of 786

Wiki.Answers.com says
786 is numerological value to "Bismillah Ar Rahman Nir/ir Rahim" which has surfaced recent era and it is an innovation ( Bidah ) in Islam and it is forbidden or more specifically "Haram" since Quran opposes Astrology, fortune telling, Numerology and such business and queries.

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every innovation is misguidance and going astray, and all what drives man astray leads to Hell-Fire."

This tradition is not from the time of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, or his Companions. It developed much later, perhaps during the later `Abbasid period.

Few people derived this 786 from the ancient arabic numerology and this sometimes also refers to a hindu religious slogan called " hare krishna " and makes it further unsuable.

Those who invented the "786", are GUILTY of tampering with the text of the Holy Qur'an. Muslims are invited to give up this EVIL and disgusting practice of using 786. It is, I repeat, an innovation, evil and in NO WAY sacred. It is a conspiracy against the kitaab (book) of Allah

Often using innovations like mobiles in FATA also leads to HellFire. There is so much truth in Islamic teachings.

Muslims in general and from subcontinent in particular are crazy about 786! as shown by many members above its considered to be the most magical number in Islam ( yup even more then famous 72!)

from a websource : clicky

The Arabic phrase shown above is pronounced as Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim, and is a beautifully poetic phrase which offers both deep insight and brilliant inspiration. It has often been said that the phrase Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim contains the true essence of the entire Qur'an, as well as the true essence of all religions.

Muslims often say this phrase when embarking on any significant endeavor, and the phrase is considered by some to be a major pillar of Islam. This expression is so magnificent and so concise that all but one chapter of the Qur'an begins with the words Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim.

In popular Islamic culture as far as i know " to bismillah " is like seeking divine blessing before starting anything or to seek that what ever endeavour one wants to launch in be highly successful or rather be the will of Allah! so you can now understand how elated all of BRF must feel that ramayji's prophecy indeed has devine will!!!
