Of course thats thinking way too ahead and let me not even get into how this might impact relations with Chavezs Venezuela
Venezuela is closely allied to Russia and China. It would be good step strategically, if we supply arms to Colombia. I would be more concerned about Ecuador. Ecuador and Colombia aren't the best of friends and supplying arms to both sides would be something like what France and Russia do.
