Evidences of CIA involvement in Paki Musharraf presented to US :rotfl:

http://www.thepakistaninewspaper.com/ne ... p?id=15150
ISLAMABAD, Nov 20: Pakistan on Friday presented evidences of CIA involvement in the country to Director US Central Intelligence Agency Leon Panetta, Aaj News reported.

According to the channel, Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Chief Lieutenant General Ahmed Shuja Pasha presented the evidences to Leon Panetta, who called on him during his two-day visit to Islamabad.

The channel, quoted the sources as saying that ISI chief Shuja Pasha has made it clear to Leon Panetta that CIA personnel were assisting the terrorism in Pakistan

CIA chief Leon Panetta on Friday held talks in Pakistan and found agreement on intelligence cooperation as President Barack Obama nears a decision on troop deployments to Afghanistan, Islamabad said.

Panetta held talks with Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Washington's policy review in Afghanistan, said the premier's office in a brief statement.

It was his second visit since taking office this year and comes a week after US National Security Adviser James Jones held similar talks in Pakistan.

Panetta and Gilani agreed on 'operational functioning between the two militaries and intelligence agencies' to eliminate the terror threat, it said.

Pak-based terror groups plotting more attacks in India: Manmohan

http://www.nation.com.pk/pakistan-news- ... a-Manmohan

Every day I receive intelligence reports saying that terrorists based in Pakistan are planning other similar acts," Singh said in the interview that would be carried in the daily's print edition on Sunday – the day of his arrival here.
He, however, asserted that Pakistan has "nothing to fear" from India, and it was a "tragedy" that Pakistan has come to the point of using terror "as an instrument of state policy".
"We are committed to resolve all the outstanding issues with Pakistan through bilateral negotiations. Our only condition is that Pakistan should not allow its territory to be used for acts of terrorism against India. "If Pakistan really honours that commitment, we can go back to negotiation to resolve all outstanding issues between us," he said.
Noting that India has been a victim of "Pakistan-aided-abetted and-inspired terrorism for nearly 25 years," Dr. Singh said India wanted the U.S. to use all its influence with Pakistan to ask it desist from that path. Asked about actions being taken by Pakistan to bring to book those involved in the Mumbai terror attack, the Indian Prime Minister said they have not done enough. "As far as perpetrators of the Mumbai massacre are concerned, (Pakistan) has taken some steps but not enough," he said. Singh also expressed concern about the rise of terrorism in Pakistan and said terrorists' increasing grip over several parts of the country was a threat to India's security as well.

Indo-Pak peace — II

Sir: The statement that the Indo-Pak ties cannot improve without dialogue is axiomatic. But so is the fact that talks cannot be held in an environment where terror reigns. While non-state actors may be involved in the Mumbai 26/11 attacks, it inspires little confidence in India when Pakistan has been unable to make headway in punishing the terrorists. The Anti-Terrorism Court has been unable to proceed in the case since July 17 when charge sheets were filed. Since then there have been 12 adjournments. The new revelations from the arrest made by the FBI about David Headley and Tawahhur Rana reveals much sinister planning and deep nexus. Several times General (retd) Musharraf had promised that Pakistan would not be used for terrorism against India. While one understands that it may be impossible to nip all such attacks in the bud, what matters is the resolve to pursue such cases with determination to their logical conclusion by cooperating with all parties concerned. Pakistan must pursue India-focused non-state actors with the same vigour with which it pursues Pakistan and Western-focused terrorists.

Literacy meets illiteracy

Sir: A headline in your newspaper on November 19, “Pakistan has better literacy ratio than India: UNFPA”, caught my eye. I went to the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) website to see for myself if what the report claimed was true.

There was one small problem. The report confused illiteracy with literacy.

Extra! Extra!
Islamabad, November 18: Famous anti-India TV personality, Zion Hamid, was caught yesterday watching Shakuntali, a popular Indian TV soap opera. The discovery was made by one of his fans who Hamid thought was his milkman.

When Hamid opened his door, the fan heard and saw the TV in the background where episode No. 5, 904 of Shakuntali was running. Talking to this reporter, the fan said that he first thought it was a conspiracy, but after noticing the genuine red cap of Hamid, he was astonished.
He added that he also watches Indian soaps to decode the hidden plots of the Hindus to destroy Pakistan and Islam.

‘It was by decoding the dialogue of one such Indian TV soap that I was able to discover that the Mumbai attacks were actually planned and executed by Raw and Mossad,’ he explained.

He also said that he predicted the 9/11 attacks as a Zionist conspiracy back in 1996 by watching Dil Walay Dullaniya Lay Jain Gey on his VCD player over and over again.

France will not have an India-like nuclear deal with Pakistan
Much as Pakistan has been trying to project in recent months that France’s initiative for a “strategic relationship” with it was on the same lines as that with India, a top French government official made it categorically clear that in no case would it include a civil nuclear cooperation deal.

In response to a query as to whether Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s claim that Paris had decided to initiate a civil nuclear cooperation agreement with Islamabad, the official dismissed it outright saying there was no truth in that statement. {(sn't that another way of saying that the Honourable Foreign Minister of Pakistan was lying ?}

Talking to The Hindu here, he said: “I can say that nothing like it is on the table. We [France] would like to ensure safety of Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal {So, apart from the US, France is also holding a key to the Chinese bombs in TSP ? The recent revelation by AQ Khan that Musharraf parted with very sensitive information to the US lends credence to the US handle over TSP nukes and what Obama said a few months back on Pakistan being nuke nude.} but there is no question of getting into an India-like civil nuclear pact with them. Nothing like it is happening.”

According to the French government, it was ready within the framework of its international agreements “to co-operate with Pakistan in the field of nuclear safety” and ensure that “the Pakistani programme can develop in the best conditions of safety and security.”

We demand minimum 150,if possible double, triple centuries on the flat tracks in Faisalabad,Lahore,Karachi,Pindi. The TFTAs should break Laras record(both Test and first class ) at least once.
But it is not happening in Pakjab.Shows how strong the Pakjabis are to the East of the Indus and thoroughly exposes the racial myths of Anglo-Saxons.The pakjabis have some surface strengths much of it inherited from the Indian past.

It will happen one day.
Consider this once upon a time when Aussies toured the pure land in 1998 the Aussie cricket players visited the border near Peshawar and brandished AK-47s. (After Mark Taylor hit 334)
Look at how the situation has deteriorated!
It is just a matter of time before the centuries are scored on flat tracks!

This news item is important. It suggests that the Pakis did not want the US to start bombing Quetta, which they could with their drones. Such a policy would have caused great unrest in Balochistan. By shifting Mullah Omar to karachi, it may be difficult for the M.Omar to supervise his troops, since the Afgh border is farther. This may even decrease M.Omar's influence, perhaps a new Mullah will arise. Another implication is that by putting the head of the snake in Karachi, will lead to outgrowth of terrorist tentacles in currently peaceful karachi, and ultimately break down of law and order. So what is gained in balochistan, is lost in Karachi. You cant have your cake and eat it too.

Mullah Omar goes to Karachi
By BILL ROGGIONovember 20, 2009 12:13 PM

Mullah Mohammed Omar, the Amir al Mumineen ("the commander of the faithful") of the Afghan and Pakistani Taliban.

According to The Washington Times, Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence agency has helped Mullah Mohammed Omar, the Amir al Mumineen ("the commander of the faithful") for both the Afghan and Pakistani Taliban, relocate to the southern port city of Karachi:

Two senior U.S. intelligence officials and one former senior CIA officer told The Washington Times that Mullah Omar traveled to Karachi last month after the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. He inaugurated a new senior leadership council in Karachi, a city that so far has escaped U.S. and Pakistani counterterrorism campaigns, the officials said.
The officials, two of whom spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the topic, said Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence agency, the ISI, helped the Taliban leaders move from Quetta, where they were exposed to attacks by unmanned U.S. drones.

The development reinforces suspicions that the ISI, which helped create the Taliban in the 1990s to expand Pakistani influence in Afghanistan, is working against U.S. interests in Afghanistan as the Obama administration prepares to send more U.S. troops to fight there.

Bruce Riedel, a CIA veteran and analyst on al Qaeda and the Taliban, confirmed that Mullah Omar had been spotted in Karachi recently.

"Some sources claim the ISI decided to move him further from the battlefield to keep him safe" from U.S. drone attacks, said Mr. Riedel, who headed the Obama administration's review of policy for Afghanistan and Pakistan last spring. "There are huge madrassas in Karachi where Mullah Omar could easily be kept."

For those paying attention, this should come as little surprise. In late September, The Sunday Times reported that the ISI had begun moving Omar's Quetta Shura to Karachi. It was only a matter of time before Omar followed. And given what we know about the ISI's complicity with the Afghan and Pakistani Taliban, the Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, Hizb-i-Islami Gulbuddin, and a host of terror groups, your shock meter should be pegged to zero.

3 suspected militants blow themselves up in PoK

Islamabad, Nov 21 (PTI) Three suspected Taliban militants blew themselves up after being cornered by police in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir though there were no casualties.

Police launched a search in PoK capital Muzaffarabad after it was reported that three men had dumped a bag of weapons on a road in the town.

Some officials said the three men could have been militants who fled South Waziristan after the army launched an operation there against the Taliban.

For the reaction m-omar in Baluchistan , it would have been verydifficult to keep him alive as the local population would have be very supportive of the drones and PAKIS would worried of lossing more men.

Karachi is a very safe place and no one is control there

Oh, Woe is Us!

We are fighting the whole world’s war
Remember: Its always about the money. Even when begging, be demanding

Saturday, November 21, 2009
By Saad Hasan
KARACHI: The international community must come forward with economic assistance to help Pakistan which is fighting a war against militants not only for its internal security but also for ensuring prosperity in the region and the world, a top government official said on Friday.
“this war is not just our war; we are fighting the whole world’s war,” said Saleem Mandviwalla, Chairman Board of Investment, at a press conference held here.
They (other governments) must assist us financially.” His comments come at a time when authorities have to negotiate additional funding from the International Monetary Fund under tough conditions and commitments of grants from some friendly countries are not forthcoming.
Year-on-year foreign direct investment plunged 53 per cent in the first four months (July-October) of fiscal year 2009-10
:((
Mandviwalla was at pains to say that the country had no FDI target for this year.

Contradicting reports that Pakistan had allocated its land for corporate farming to Middle Eastern countries, Mandviwalla said no such deal had been made. To his knowledge, the government had not earmarked irrigated or arid land for foreign investors. “There is no such thing in my knowledge.”
To his knowledge, indeed!
Exporters say cheaper products from Vietnam and Bangladesh sideline Pakistani goods on the back of preferential market access.
Overall, the convoluted message is as following: because we , the god-created purelanders, conjured up an inretractable situation for oursleves over the past 60 years which we are now trying to half-heartedly resolve, and because this situation can and will cause us along with the rest of the world immense monetary harm, we now find ourselves in a situation where we have to fight an unpopular war for not only our own survival but, presumably the rest of the world's as well. So LaWhori logic states that the rest of the world must (repeat MUST) give us all sorts of financial aid and incentives so that we can pull ourselves out of this mess which we built for ourselves so that we can help save rest of the world. Because, gentle folks, we are fighting your war. AoA.
