Wonder if there is something they do without getting tricked?

Well, the paki state is known for "turning tricks" :rotfl:

The size of the National Bird has suddenly become bigger
America’s B-52 heavy bomber aircraft, which can carry nuclear and conventional ordnance with worldwide precision navigation capability, was again seen hovering over Pakistan’s tribal areas on Sunday.
The flights of US B-52 bomber, along other spy planes, continued over Fata for last several weeks, causing panic among the locals.

Finally, our dear friends in the US have taken BR's advice and are sending in the B-52s.There is no other way militarily to put the Taliban back on the defensive, which on the ground is exactly the opposite (say US intel and military sources). The pro-Taliban settlements and bases are by now too well known by the US and co. from their varied intel gathering drones-a new previously secret one was also seen in the region, and other sources. That the ISI has been tipping off the ungodly is also no secret. Therefore, the heavy hitters visit to Af-Pak is long overdue. The US should not shirk from attacking targets both within Afghanistan AND Pakistan and put the fear of fire and brimstone in the minds of the ungodly. In Vietnam, the only US weapon system that the VC feared were the B-52s.The kind of IEDs being used against US and NATO troops are so large and deadly, that the longer the stay of US and allied forces in the country, the greater will be their losses. As the Taliban advance,so must they be cut down evn if it takes an elephantine methods in killing a scourge of scorpions.

The birds are getting bigger. The real turning point will come when the birds starting hitting targets in Punjab, hope the day will come sooner.

Post in Deaf & Dumb forum says 3,000 shops were torched. Does anyone have a source for this? Thats a lot of real estate to cover even for a mob unless they were at it all day & night.

Altaf appreciates Zardari’s vision

In a statement issued by the MQM office in London, Altaf appreciated the slogan Pakistan Khappay (Long Live Pakistan) and welcomed the vision forwarded by the president. Karachi violence: loss worth Rs30b estimated :(( :(( :((

The loss in the incidents of blazes and violence following the suicide blast in Yaum-e-Ashur procession yesterday has been estimated at Rs30 billion, Geo News reported Tuesday.

Talking to Geo News, Alliance Market Chairman Attique Mir said at least 80 percent shops were torched due to the unavailability of the fire brigade staff and negligence on the part of government.

He said at least 2000 shops were set ablaze, adding the ruination of these shops is hugely detrimental to the country’s economy.

Now I understand why Zardari said 'Pakistan Khappay'
Soon after Benazir's assassination, he {Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza of PPP who is currently Sindh's Home Minister, no less !!} and some others had decided to take out a 'break-up Pakistan' rally, only to be deterred by Mr Zardari's declaration "we need Pakistan united" (Pakistan khhappey).

The same Sindh Home Minister has now planned to either organise or participate in a street demonstration with the aim of demanding the dismemberment of the country. . . another party member, Federal Minister for Power Pervaiz Ashraf, trying to come to his rescue, has said. Dr Mirza is no ordinary citizen etc. . .

Folks, serious things are happening in the Sind.

The RAPEs are now waiting in droves to emigrate to other countries - they are ready to go to ANY country. Not just USA or UK. They have the means already in their stash looted and tucked away in MNC banks now its just a matter of time.

so the question is which countries are they now targeting to slip into, since now both US and UK have added "pakistani" as a parameter in their (racial) profile for terrorists ?

But why the B-52s? Do the B-52s launch precision hellfires at individual targets?

They are good for bombing the crap out of an armed formation or an entire village of talibs OR threatening a pak fauj garrison.

I think the B-52 is symbolic for the pak fauj, as a show of the things they can expect if they continue with what they are doing. The pak fauj in turn must be having vivid visions of 'going back to the stone age' when they see the stratofortress hovering above.

Firstly is the B-52 sighting real? Or is it one of those conspiracy stories the pakis pulled out of their musharrafs?

We will need to wait to see how things progress in Sindh before we can say for sure that what we are seeing is indeed the endgame for pakistan.
The end will be in the form of huge unrest in all provinces in pakistan, and attacks on the pak fauj itself.
While all this is happening, it is not intense enough for the fauj to be completely rattled and disoriented enough to be unable to control secession. When the push comes to shove, the pak fauj will resort to genocide in an attempt to control secession, thus sealing its own fate.

But things need to go up a few more notches for that to happen.

From that Nation article

If that was true, the Pakis would have been crying hoarse "several weeks ago", why now? Sounds like propagandu. I hope it is true though. Pakis only respond to indiscriminate killing like in the medieval times, thats what "Mughals" understand. Hence hellfires, SF ops etc will not get the job done, IMO.

Zardari has been informed by the 'people who inform politicians in pakistan' that there is a supari handed out in his name.

Now zardari meets altaf, and the entire sindh assembly passes a resolution in Zardari's favor. The sindh governer also lets it be known that they are willing for secession, if Zardari is harmed.

Zardari has converted this into a "Pak fauj had better behave or sindh will secede" thingie to cover himself.

I think the pak fauj will back down for now, but the Supari on Zardari will wait for another oppertune moment to get filled. Expect NRO to give out lurid details about Zardari's wealth and personal life.

If you look at how fast things are moving in TSP, any more pressure by B-52 or vakum plasts will cause the cup to spill over. I think Zardari will be asking for secession in 30 days, and TSPA might coup instead of genocide. Then the B-52's will rain!

Gagan, you are right. What Zardari and his group are telling the PA/ISI/Nawaz/Giliani combine is that they will raise the Sindhi Vs. Punjabi equation if they are pushed any further. Zardari is in a very tight corner, especially after the NRO withdrawal. The water & power situation will worsen until April and unrest can only spiral and Sindhi sentiments can be exploited thoroughly on these issues.

It won't be this dramatic, I think. Massa won't resort to this. Why take out the hammer when winks do everything in pakistan hain ji?

Things will continue to deteriorate. With mushy gone, the pak fauj-MQM relations are also on a down swing. This might possibly open an avenue for mushy if he can cut a deal with altaf and kiyani for now.

Nawaz will have to wait to fight another day.

Zardari has many more skeletons in his closet, those pertaining to his personal lifestyle and wealth. There will be leaks out of this NRO hoopala for sure. When the ground is ready, Zardari's last hope, the MQM will be reigned in and zardari will meet his 72. Zardari has to in the interim get bilawal to the forefront to sweep the elections in the event that another bhutto meets the 72, so that the bhuttos can 'ungli' the pak fauj some more.

Basically, Kiyani saab is getting desperate with his retirement around the corner. If he retires, the next general will let things cool for a while, because he would have time on his hands.

Can Bilawal Bhutto stand for election? I think there's that minimum age limit law that he needs to bypass first. In the event of Zardari meeting his 72, Bilawal will be the figurehead leader of the PPP as per Zardari's directions. He may get the PPP the sympathy vote, but he won't be able to contest himself for at least 10-15 years, which means there'll be someone else in charge for a while. I'm not sure of his political acumen, but it'll be tricky for Bilawal to stick around for long in that situation if the guy in charge of the PPP is a non-Bhutto.

It'll be trickier for Bakistan to stay on the map as Bakistan by the time Bawala Bhutto reaches puberty.

Mandatory? I trust you are familiar with evolved paki generals such as Ayub, Zia and Mushy who found a greater calling in life than to retire.

Actually B-52 is just the thing for such warfare. It can bomb with immense precision using smart weapons when needed. It's biggest advantage is that it can fly in from Diego Garcia and still be in the air and ready for hours on end, and can bring in massive firepower when needed that no drone can match.

But as you said, it could be propaganda as well.

I know of the B-52s capabilities and how it can deliver a huge load of PGMs to the target.

But hellfires out of a B-52? And using the shit load capacity of the B-52 to take out the talibs?
It is useful to cause a pak fauj garrison to celebrate the browning of pants ceremony by its mere presence, but I doubt the US will resort to its use just yet.

Most likely:
1. A B-52 was sighted, by the pakistanis, who are milking the fact, rabble rousing in general, and hoping the US will back down.
2. No B-52 was sighted, but the pakistani are pulling out a conspiracy theory out of their musharrafs, raising the heat domestically in general, hoping for some concessions in the war.
3. The US did deliberately have a B-52 flight, as a supplement to Amritraj visit. :P

Take your individual picks.

:!: :!: :!:

BRites,

While the anti-Shia attack and the subsequent riots in Karachi seem par for the course during Muharram days, something seems out of whack.

1. MQM boss Altaf quickly rallied around Zardari
2. Karachi's liberal Mayor Mustafa Kamal, also of MQM is saying that police and forces were acting outside of his chain of control
3. Unnamed Western "senior officials" are saying that Zardari's days may be numbered and the West may have to make the "tough choice" between democracy and stability

The speed with which the looting and burning spread makes me wonder if this is the next step in the end game plotted by Kayani and co. This is their response to Zaradari's Sindh card, perhaps? Another few IED mubaraks in Karachi and the business interests may start asking for "army stability" and fall in line...

Pakistanis are delusional on many levels that has no match in the human history. These Pakistanis are so idiotic that sometimes I feel they might be faking it, since it is against the theory of evolution. Just after the Karachi explosion, Bakis on deaf n dumb were lecturing Shias to stop 'whining' about the explosion & be more tolerant towards suicide attacks just like the prave beoble of Pissawar. :((

Folks, While NoKia (kiyanahi) theory may be plausible but I also suspect that Mushrat is being signedoff to be dispatched to slamabad.

I could sense some indications of that in recent programs and reporting.

- Groper for the first time conceding that Mush to be brought back *if* court directs so (no $hit...they will do overtime and work on weekends and give any such orders)
- programs claiming....BB ke asli qatilon ka pata lagana mushkil nahin hai and severely implicating Mushy

Pak Army is getting groovy with this ( I guess)...first the jihadis and now their own man  . Will they trade him for Karachi?
