Does it mean, it will revert after the "few days" ?

It is currently not possible to access the forum from the "Board Index" page. I have to use a bypass route like clicking on "Active topics"

This is too psychedelic.

I resign.

Too much change. I understand such change is good to prevent Alzheimer, but since I have not been diagnosed with it - yet -I think I will try chess or the like.

Congratulation on creating such a nice look. Seems like I went to a old govt. office last night and in the morning some magician has changed it to a corporate one. So easy to read this Font too! :D

It's the "Webmaster" virus which resides in a rootkit and gets the Webmaster's password and goes into action once in a while. Usually settles down after a series of :(( and :D from forum members

On persisting I find that there appears to be a time lag of less than a minute after opening a page before everything becomes normal. But before that time elapses - i goes to a dummy page with no graphical content but just some text displaying names of users. It look as though some script or something is taking its own time to load.

This is a much better look. The previous look felt too outdated. The forum members are complaining just because they were used to the old look. Give them time and they will start liking this look better.

Man this new look sucks! Can we please have the old look back... The older one looked pretty formal and that was what held BR forum above the rest of the other forums. Please please revert back to the old look! :((

Not too sure I like this new look. Too artisty and non serious.

I liked the earlier one better (And the one before that even better - where the number of quotes were not limited to 2 and the font size of quotes was not reduced)

But let this one remain for a few days, lets see if we get used to it.

PS: Is it possible to have a Sidebar where poster's name ityadi is displayed, so that it will be visible seperate from the post. Now it sort of blends in with the post. I find it difficult to identify individual posts if I scroll through a page quickly. Also having different colors for alternate posts is a good idea.

Is there a quick post option planned?

Everything is ulta pulta in this new version.

There is a side bar, but on the ulta side.
There are edit / delete post buttons but on the ulta side.

:D

Can you really save your post? Or is it disabled?
Can we mango posters have PMs to other posters puleeez?

Can we set the "view active topics" page to auto refresh say after every few minutes or that it auto refreshes each time a new post is made?

How long before the edit post button disappears?

Can we have more smileys please? I would recommend two since these are being used very often by members:
1. Lungi dance smiley
2. Ack-Thoo or Puking smiley.

BRFites seem to oscillate between these two emotion sets majorly these days.

These smileys are almost never used: :-o :!: :?:   :| .
Some smileys are very rarely used, It seems I use them some times: :D :)

Mostly BRFites use these (Except Nayakuddin who is impartial to all smileys when posting IB4TLs): :(  :-? 8)        :(( :rotfl:

Its quite hard to read against blue/light blue background of posts.

changing background to white will help..

Other layouts looks kool IMHO :)

Egad!! I vote for having the old look back as well, easier to read posts with a plain alternating white and grey. Similar to Keypubs where posts where easier to read especially when the thread starts getting close to 72.. :((

I think side bar on the left side wil do the trick because its conventional and this forum is a very serious forum.. other changes IMHO are cool.. :!:

The blue is too bright making it difficult to focus on the content. The old color scheme was a beauty in comparison to many a forum board on the net. Hope the themes would be switched back.

Can we at least vote if the majority like this look or not?

Has anyone tried reading BR on Black Berry now :((

I sure hope it is a temporary thing....

Old Version looked much more professional and was easier to read as well...

The old forum looked sophisticated in grey. Simplicity has it's own calss.
The fact that the user info column has gone to right is making hard for all to adapt to new look.
Also, the first thing you want to see is the person who wrote the post and that is not as easy as it was before.

Don't like this new look. Everything is in shades of blue or grey. Would have liked better colour contrast to make it easier to scan the topics.
