Thats what I was thinking.. I remember the dogfight and his bailout in the end, but nothing else.

Interesting to learn is it same Vijeta that was being discussed.

How could you ppl forget the Telugu movie "Karthavyam" starring "lady-superstar" Vijayashanthi? The story was based on Kiran Bedi and it won a National Award as well, personally i think it was a rather accurate depiction of her rise in the force. It was also translated into Tamil and Hindi as Tejasvini.

That was a well made movie as well....
I second that. Very well made movie.

Another good movie on police work was Gangajal.
I thought that the Manoj Bajpai starrer "Shool" was a daredevil type movie too! It showed corruption in Bihar at an intensity greater that what Gangaajal did! Sayaji Shinde as Bachoo Yadav was too good in my opinion, especially his dialogues against the construction of the dam! :rotfl:

Just went to show the extent of illiteracy and ignorance of the politicians! Btw, i dont remember the exact dialogues, could someone point them out?

Pukar starring Anil Kapoor, won some awards. Watched it in bits and parts but do remember the uniformed hero snapping his fingers while telling a Paki: "Proxy war chalate ho saalo…..…saat din ka khel hai, saat din ka. Aathwe din tumhare mulq ka naamo nishan mita denge..."

"You b&*&* run a proxy war against us? (real war) is only a matter of seven days. On the eighth day your country will be wiped out from earth and from memory."

There was a serial on DD 'Udaan'. I guess was based on Kiran Bedi.

The Randeep Hooda movie "Risk" was great too, IMO. Specially the weapons, etc.

I can believe that. All I remember is something hit and something else shown peeling off (lost too many brain cells since then to chilled beer)
