Really miss the firecrackers going off randomly in all directions. Happy Diwali to all who celebrate.

No logo celebrating Diwali on the Google India homepage this year

Google logos have decorative changes made to celebrate holidays, anniversaries, and the lives of famous artists and scientists.

The 2008 Diwali logo:

Google support discussion on the issue:
Is there a way to contact google PR team. I am sure they would not want to see these many upset indians. Having a google logo for diwali would make all the indians very happy and will also spread the knowledge of diwali to everyone else.

Check out Bing. They got a whole front page dedicated to Diwali. So why not google?
