The takleef amongst everyone on that Veena Malik interview is that she did what she did in India.

The film director (who apparently makes B and C grade films which sell because of their 'sex' component) is acting holier than thou, and lets it known in the end that if Veena had done this in England, this might have been acceptable, but she did this in India and so it is not. The third dame on the show has a serious case of rotten apples - she was rejected by the hindi film industry and so she is on a jeehard against India. She crys that Pakistan should have broken off all contact with India the moment India tried to get Pakistan labelled as a terrorist state during Obama's visit! LOL how childish! These retards REALLY think that India's world view revolves around that insignificant terrorism-jihadism center called pakistan, because it is plainly obvious that their entire world view is India centric.

These retards watch ALL the TV shows and the movies that our film industry churn out, their markets are flooded with indian goods - everything from medicines, to automobile parts, to food items, to cosmetics - and people are falling over each other to get indian goods. A friend of mine confirmed that what these guys see on the TV ads from India, the local shop keeper gets that stuff ASAP from the smuggler route from India.

Let us be truthful to ourselves and make a candid admission of the realities. The terrorists of today were the heroes of yesteryears until 9/11 occurred and they began to haunt us as well"

In Nov. 2009, Prime Minister Gilani admitted to the support for terrorism by Musharraf as "running with the hares and hunting with the hounds".

When Bush warned the Pakistanis in August 2008 of their support to Al Qaeda, Afrasiab Khattak, President of Awami National Party (ANP) said this: "The question is why it has taken the Americans so long to see what the ISI is doing. We’ve been telling them for years but they wouldn’t buy it.". See here.

In an interview to the BBC as far back as on Feb. 13, 1994, Benazir Bhutto admitted how she handed over to Rajiv Gandhi the complete list of Sikh activists colluding with the ISI in terrorism in the Punjab. Later, Nawaz Sharif described this interview as a faux pas.

Apart from these, of course, numerous Pakistani commentators, analysts, and editors have openly admitted to terror as a state policy.

- It is pretty standard for intelligence officers anywhere in the world to use aliases in the field, and sometimes those are the ones that stick, especially by the time the press gets a hold of it. You have to assume that the people you recruit will one day either be captured, or may end up working for someone else if they aren't already.

- The "Asian Tigers" are the Punjabi Taliban, the former LeJ which have been at war with the Pakistani state since the Sharif and then the Musharraf years over sectarian killings. They absolutely hate the PA and its two-timing ways. The Mehsuds and these guys have a common cause. On the other side you have PA-friendly Afghan jihadis like the Haqqanis and the Quetta Shura.

- Even though the Taliban gets on with the PA and depends on them, it is not willing to fight the Pakiban for them. The PA relies on the American drone program to keep the Pakiban in check. The problem is that the Americans are also hammering the PA's allies like the Haqqanis. When David Rhode, the kidnapped NYT reporter (see his book 'A Rope and a Prayer') escaped the PA was very interested in all they could squeeze out of him on the Pakiban, and entirely uninterested in the Haqqanis.

- The Pakiban honestly believed that grabbing someone like Tarar, an emeritus member of Pakistan's secret state would give them real leverage, given Hamid Gul's influence, etc. No such luck. Tarar himself appeared shocked by how little he counted for. His video statements from captivity aimed at the Pakistani government were both bitter and fearful.

- The whole Khwaja/Tarar incident has exposed the cracks within the PA's own establishment, especially on the covert side. The PA is still collectively squeezing profits out of the jihadi ecology it has bred, but it can not and will not save its own senior horticulturalists from some of the mutants roaming in its own backyard. Is anyone in Pakistan safe? Governors, Prime Ministers, generals, spymasters, they've all been killed. The Pakistanis were sure the Americans are about to leave Afghanistan. Now they're going to stay until 2014 at the very least. Will the Haqqani network stay loyal given the kind of casualties they are taking from US drones, flown from/through Pakistan while the PA and PAF stands idle?

How will the angels greet ‘Colonel Imam’?

The mystery of the death of ‘Colonel Imam’ has been removed. After all, he died a natural death, following a heart attack, while in apparent captivity in the lawless tribal regions of Pakistan. Earlier speculations that he was executed have been laid to rest. Correctly so. It was almost unthinkable that the Taliban would allow their mentor to be killed in cold blood. That would have gone against the grain of Afghan traditions. Besides, ‘Imam’ had always been one of them. He had personal equations with Mullah Omar dating back to the 1980s. He was with Mullah Omar in Kandahar in the final countdown to the American air strikes in October 2001, when they dispersed, with Omar famously climbing on to a motorbike and driven away into the darkening mountains as the dusk fell. ‘Imam’ never hid the fact that he urged Omar to fight on and drive the Americans out of Afghanistan.

The remaining mystery is why the Pakistani military didn’t move heaven and earth and get him released. It is hard to believe that the requisite ‘influence’ was lacking - or the political will. A million dollar question remains: Was Imam indeed in ‘captivity’, or was he on some sort of special assignment to steer the Taliban safe and dry in the final lap of their triumphant return to power in Kabul?
I first heard about his presence in the Kandahar-Herat region sometime in late-1994 from an Afghan who came to Delhi for medical treatment. It wasn’t too difficult to put 2 and 2 together and make it 4 - that Taliban was indeed an outfit of the Pakistani security establishment, contrary to the myths that were being propagated from Islamabad. For, Imam’s presence in that complicated region inside Afghanistan right at that point in time could only have meant that some bloody serious business was afoot. Curiously, Pakistan was also sponsoring Gulbuddin Hekmatyar at that time and Gen. Hamid Gul was active on that front. Amazing that two such vastly different streams of Pakistani ’strategic assets’ were in operation simultaneously - and they finally ‘coalesced’ in 1996 near Saroki in the outskirts of Kabul when Taliban drove Gulbuddin out of Afghanistan into exile in Iran. No doubt, Imam plotted fastidiously the Taliban’s ‘pilgrim’s progress’ from Kandahar via Herat and Jalalabad to Kabul.
Stories about Imam as the Pakistani consul-general in Herat used to filter down to the Tashkent bazaar when I served in that ancient oasis town in the Central Asian steppes. I invariably asked about him while walking the dusty streets of Mazar-i-Sharif. By the mid-1990s, he was already of the stuff of legends. I began harbouring a secret longing to meet him sometime, somewhere. It never happened. But it was also as if I already knew him so well that there was no more any real need to meet. One never got tired of devouring stories of his feats that were handed down. Indeed, at a certain point one even stopped bothering to check out the veracity of the stories surrounding the working life of this secretive man. It became pointless to segregate the kernels of hard facts and fiction. They blended so well. Imagine, this was the man who was received in the Ronald Reagan White House and presented with a piece of the Berlin Wall with a plaque commending him for striking the ‘first blow’ that brought the Soviet Union tumbling down.
