the US having led and supervised this mess now sits amiably behind its oceans, leaving the EU munnas to clean the s***

its time EU leaders grew some backbone and demanded that rich land-surplus nations in their cabal like canada, US and australia be also forced to take in their quota of refugees per a formula based on per-capita income, land surplus . why are tiny nations like macedonia or hungary in the firing line when the massive surpluses of n.america and australia are there ?

its time to spread the fallout of their failed "projects" fairly :)

india has already absorbed the effects of economic failure in BD and TSPA genocide in BD in the past. none came to our aid or offered to find a new home for BD refugees and infact tried to protect their munna.

no matter what happens, even if we have to eat grass and sand...we must take a oath never to let a syria or libya happen in india , anyone meddling must be hit with high-yield weapons even if we have to go down, take everyone down with us.

Putin is more than happy to apply Zandu Balm

Europe’s migration crisis caused by US policy of imposing its standards — Putin

VLADIVOSTOK, September 4. /TASS/. The current migration crisis in Europe was absolutely expected, Russian President Vladimir Putin told reporters at the Eastern Economic Forum on Friday.

The crisis is rooted in the wrong foreign policy that the West and namely the United States conducts in the Middle East and Northern Africa, Putin said, reminding that Russia warned its partners about the possible consequences several years ago.

"What is this policy about? This is imposing its standards without taking into consideration historic, religious, national and cultural specifics of these regions," Putin said. "This is first of all, the policy of our American partners."

Putin said he was surprised how the US mass media criticize Europe for cruelty against migrants. He stressed that the US is not affected by this migrant flow while Europe, which blindly follows Washington's instructions, suffers the most. :)

On Thursday, Russia’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said Europe could learn from Russia how to deal with the refugees. She reminded that Russia has accommodated hundreds of thousands of refugees from Ukraine."These people were provided with shelter, food and benefits," she said. The diplomat expressed concerns about the EU’s "helplessness" over the influx of refugees from the Middle East and North Africa.

Pope criticizes nations that close doors to migrants

Pope Francis on Wednesday called for respect for migrants and suggested that "people and institutions" who close doors to them should seek forgiveness from God.

The pope's appeal, made at the end of his weekly general audience, came amid growing debate in Europe on how to deal with an immigrant crisis that has included clashes at the French-Italian borer between police and migrants.

"I invite you all to ask forgiveness for the persons and the institutions who close the door to these people who are seeking a family, who are seeking to be protected," he said in unscripted remarks delivered in a somber voice.

The Syrian refugee influx into Europe may accelerate "clashes of civilizations." If EU opens its doors for Syrians, I bet next Iraqis, Libyans, Algerians, Sudanese, Somalis will line up. After a while these so called refugees will add a critical mass, then the things start deteriorating for bad. Greece can take its sweet revenge on Europe, by giving relatively safe access points and acting as a transition point towards Germanic Europe.

In one way, Europe needs to complete its Karmic cycle for its colonization conquests and mayhem they have created across Asia and Europe.

If shit really hits the fan, I hope Lord Vishnu will protect small Indian landmass, like he protected the small Pandava group and Uttara from Ashwathama's Brahmastra.

well they already are in the mix, along with tspians, afghans, ethiopians, sudanese and many more. there are huge nos trying to make their way north across the sea from libya..many are 'black' africans not brown maghrebi types.

when the yellow matter hits the fan, vishnu will indeed be on our side. we have not gone out to destroy countries and civilizations. all we wanted was respect and co-existence.

Germany taking in 800,000! Wow! That's a huge number. While I have sympathy with the refugees but in another 5-6 years when they are well fed and on welfare money, they will demand Shariah in the European lands which gave them refuge and will happily slash the throats of the 'native' whites. If you read the news, the first few riots have already broken out, one which was because they found torn Quran in one of the trains so the faithfools shouted & broke furniture, clashed with the police in the country which just minutes ago gave them refuge :rotfl: , another was because of some delay in processing where the faithfools raised slogans of AoA. I wonder why do they have to shout AoA (God is Great) for every protest - no water in the tap protest - God is Great; train delayed - God is Great; suffering from indigestion & constipation - God is Great! :rotfl:

All this turmoil in Europe becuase they are ever so willing to follow Uncle into a fight that was not even their own. Idiots. Their future generations will pay the price and live under shariah in a 100 years time.

Why are the Syrians fleeing Turkey to western Europe? They would fit in better with Turkey than in western Europe.

And why the hell not? It would be good to see Europe go down in a bloodbath, but some EU countries like Austria already have Islam as an official religion of the state and are legally allowed to interefere with the variant of islam practised within their borders.

from what I can gather most of these migrants are kurds, yazidis, christians & alawis with a few opportunistic migrants from africa, pakistan, bangladesh, afghanistan who are trying their luck with this mix. The syrian immigrants were originally in Turkey but turks are hardcore sunnis and may not tolerate these migrants well enough

Realistically, kids die every day by the thousands (or more) without having their sorry images being splashed across front pages of European and american newspapers, or on social media...as a sort of showpiece for absolute strangers (Who don't actually give a shyte) to display their collective humanitarianism by recommending at other countries and other people cough up the money to take on these refugees, in the name of "secular liberalism". Hard to decide which of the two are greater oiseaules: the ones creating the refugees, or the ones dissing others for not taking in the refugees while they provide excuses for those creating refugees.

A few point regarding the refugee flood into the EU:

1. The EU has enough resources to give shelter to these refugees.

2. Europe, since the 1980's has developed mechanisms to limit the intake of refugees, they don't just allow anyone in who claims asylum.

3. Also, once accepted as a 'genuine refugee' and given asylum doesn't mean they can stay as long as they want to. When, for example, the Dutch government decides it's safe for say Iraqi's to return to their country, the Dutch government will enforce the return of Iraqi refugees living in Holland.

4. The hullabaloo regarding the influx of refugees into Europe in the western media is more a reflection of the racist xenophobia and Islamophobia in the EU countries than a real crisis. Do you really think that the EU with it's landmass and GDP can't accommodate 5 to 10 million refugees if they want to? Racism is really bad in Europe today.

5. As for Hungary, the Hungarians have a 'genetic' memory of their wars with the Turks/Islam, they are aware of the cruel nature of Turks/Islamic 'civilization'. A Hungarian fella once told me they have a wine in Hungary called 'Turkish Blood'. I don't know if this is true or not, but the implication is that the Hungarians hate Turks so much they want to drink their blood.

What's happening is that the Italians, French, Belgians, Dutch and of course the Brits are showing their real level of civilization in the way they deal with the refugees.

Would you want these young men who are already aggressive, demanding to be let into Europe in your neighbourhood? Do they look hungry and tired and fleeing? They look like economic migrants, opportunists and a probably a sprinkling of Al-Qaeda, ISIS types mixed in. Good Luck to Europe and any other country stupid enough to take them. They already have a sense of entitlement, demanding to be let in. In 10 years time as citizens of European countries they will demand Sharia law. AoA!!

One best way to tide over this is to ensure that the removal of ISIS from Syria and for that there is a need for ground offensive from the Syrian side as well. There can be coordinated attacks launched from all sides by the Kurds and Iraqis on one side which can liberate Iraq from Islamic state and another push by the Syrian Army which is in a very defensive position at the moment and also by the Syrian Kurds. Once the ISIS is removed, there will be much more calm and lesser of this refugee crisis.
For this has to happen, first and foremost the EU has to make peace with Assad. Hopefully backchannel talks are going on, but that's not enough.

er Iraq is not able to control anbar province properly just 100km west of its capital...all talk of retaking mosul in the fall went out of the window. syria is even further up north.

so iraq is not in a position to help kick the ISIS out of iraq itself, let alone syria.

if the west turns 180' and pumps assad full of aid and air support, he can maybe turn the tide and solve the refugee crisis also. but such wisdom is not acceptable in western sunni-pasand capitals.

video of migrants trying a long march from hungary to austria. latest reports say hungary provided them buses later and dropped them at austrian border where they were welcomed with organized aid

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RIPolT9LwxY

must say these small nations like greece, macedonia, hungary, austria are doing a lot of work and humanely given the tide of refugees. now s*** happens here I wonder what sort of welcome indics would get in rich gulf countries...we had probably be coshed and thrown into the sea.

When Islam was in its peak it had to be stopped by Franks and later by Polish Knights at the gates of Vienna. Now again Islam is reaching its peak with money etc and it is already there in EU as a huge force. Political correctness and stupidity will now prove to be too costly for EU fellows.

eklavya wrote:Zohr will feed Egyptian demand, it won't export to Europe.

There are already some giant discoveries in the region: Tamar and Leviathan in Israeli waters, Aphrodite in Cypriot waters.

Looking wider, there's a huge amount of gas in Kurdistan (Iraq), Azerbaijan and Iran, which can find its way to Europe through Turkey.

European gas demand is falling due to energy efficiency, the economic slowdown, and the huge growth in wind and solar power.

U.S. LNG exports will start by the end of the decade (from Sabine Pass, etc.), and there are some breathtaking discoveries offshore Mozambique (and Tanzania) that will feed the Asian LNG market.

Once the nukes restart, Japanese demand for LNG will also decline, just as the huge Australian LNG projects come onstream.

Russia is becoming increasingly dependent on China for gas/hydrocarbon exports, but the Chinese will take care to diversify.

The world is awash in natural gas, and Russia's importance is slowly but rather steadily declining.

Look its not as simplistic as you make it out to be. EROI is very critical for the long term success of the energy discovery. Energy return on investment is EROI. Some how we all are made to believe that energy industry is going to be exempt from the 2nd law of theromodynamics.

The second law of thermodynamics states that every natural thermodynamic process proceeds in the sense in which the sum of the entropies of all bodies taking part in the process is increased. In the limiting case, for reversible processes this sum remains unchanged.

All the major oil and gas field discoveries which are on line depend on certain valuation of the resource which is being extracted.

For eg. LNG harvested in Sakahalin oil fields has a very low EROI. It varies according to different countries. World prices are more like $13 - 14, and with the amort. infrastructure costs, costs to convert gas to liquid to back again, plus transport costs, the profit margin isn't as great as it seems. This makes the small and marginal producers scrape at the bottom of the barrel. The lower the price goes, more marginal producers go under. What every producer needs is assured market. Asia is unquestionably the biggest market and growing.

Image

Image

Look at the demand and supply. The demand is sky high and as more supply comes on the market, the prices HAVE TO fall.

The new discoveries which come on the market will have to be work with very small margins. Some countries hoping to achieve this, are poor and also are margin producers. Its mere wishful thinking to expect Russian oil and gas with be supplanted by small producers who neither have existing infrastructure nor the capital needed to go through a lean patch as the prices tumble even more.

Do you think that will ever happen? Musims can each even 50% of European population but there is no chance that Muslims will capture power. Democracy is for convenient times not when Islamics will use it to shove shariah down the throats of Europeans. Most probably Europe will fight back against Muslims the moment they reach 15-20%, that's around the mark they become over confident and throw the first punch. Massa will never let Europe fall to Mullahs.

PETER HITCHENS: We won't save refugees by destroying our own country

A nice article, that rebuts bladeing hearts voices who were crying for a dead baby in a beach.

I’ll go further. The use of words such as ‘desperate’ is quite wrong in this case. The child’s family were safe in Turkey. Turkey (for all its many faults) is a member of Nato, officially classified as free and democratic. Many British people actually pay good money to go on holiday to the very beach where the child’s body was washed up.

It may not be ideal, but the definition of a refugee is that he is fleeing from danger, not fleeing towards a higher standard of living.
.....
Refugees don’t confront the police of the countries in which they seek sanctuary. They don’t chant orchestrated slogans or lie across the train tracks.

Russians were already there long before Syrian crisis began , As of now they have couple of hunderd advisors out there , likely SF and GRU Intel folks but they wont commit ground forces out there thats clear , there are enough Iranian and Iraqi Shiah folks to do the job , all they need is decent ammunition and training and good intel to fight an asymetric warfare
