It is time that India told Cwapistan "Basta" i.e. Enough is Enough, No more Trade, Medical Treatment or Education etc. & etc. for Cwapistan and Cwapistanis in-via India.

On the contrary! Give visa to any pakistanis, arrest and prosecute them for voting to put a terrorist government in power that using terrorism. The more people are arrested the better!! force them to work in a Chinese jail like factories so that they must earn their livelihood along with jail expenses!

JuD chief Hafiz Saeed put under house arrest: sources

LAHORE: Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed has been put under house arrest in Lahore’s Jamia Masjid Al Qadsia Chowburji, sources in Punjab Home Ministry said.

A report in today’s newspaper revealed that the United States had warned Pakistan to declare JuD as defunct else face sanctions.

“Consultations are going on whether to declare JuD as defunct or not. However, the final decision will be taken after consultations between the civilians and military authorities,” one of the key senior officials directly linked with the matter revealed to The News.

JuD, a charity organization, is also alleged to be the front for the banned Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). The organisation, which is headed by Hafiz Saeed Ahmed, is allegedly involved in militant activities in Indian held Kashmir and has already been declared as a ‘foreign terrorist organisation’ by the United States in June 2014.

The sources claim that the United States assistant secretary of state in his meeting with Jalil Abbbas Jilani, Pakistani High Commissioner to the US, on January 11 this year raised the issue in the Asia Pacific Group on Money Laundering (APG)’s latest report.

The APG on Money Laundering is an autonomous and collaborative international organisation which is working since 1997 from Bangkok, Thailand. The 41-member organisation includes the Financial Action Task Force, International Monetary Fund, World Bank, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, Asian Development Bank and the Egmont Group of Financial Intelligence Units. APG is involved in effective implementation and enforcement of internationally accepted standards against money laundering and financing of terrorism.

Reportedly, in the latest APG report, some key objections were raised regarding the activities and the financial traffic of JuD. The same were presented before High Commissioner Jalil Abbas Jilani.

The sources claim that the US authorities clearly told the high commissioner that if the objections raised in the report were not addressed, the US may put Pakistan in the blacklist of the countries in the International Cooperative Review Group (ICRG).

In case of being blacklisted, Pakistan has to tender a request for each of its international transaction through the international financial institutions.

The source claimed that the high commissioner soon after the meeting wrote a detailed letter to the Foreign Office (FO) informing the situation. The letter also informed the authorities that Pakistan has to write back a report until the 31st of January regarding the objections of the APG and the US authorities. In this regard, this correspondent contacted the spokesman of Foreign Affairs Nafees Zakria who said he was unaware of any such thing. Later, a formal question was sent to him in writing but no answer was received even after five days.

The sources claimed that the Foreign Office has raised this issue with the Finance and Interior Ministries. In this regard, two separate key meetings respectively with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and National Security Adviser Lt Gen (retd) Nasir Janjua have taken place.

The sources claim that Dar, in a closed door meeting, had clearly said that the decision to ban the JuD would be made by the security establishment. The sources claim that it has unanimously been decided that the report containing the concerns of APG would be drafted by Syed Mansur Ali, the director general of State Bank Financial Monitoring Unit. Despite many attempts to reach the DG MFU, no response was received.

In this regard when this correspondent contacted another top official who was directly linked to the issue until recently, he said that all the concerns are in the picture and necessary actions are being taken by the relevant officials.

On the other hand, the JuD has started discreetly working under the name of ‘Tehreek-e-Azadi-e-Kashmir’ (Kashmir Freedom Movement). The latest name has been adopted by the JuD chief Hafiz Saeed since January 14, 2017 in a press conference. According to Saeed, they have declared the year 2017 as a year for Kashmir, so they will be using this name besides keeping their independent position as JuD. The sources claim that in the days to come, the JuD may change its face again and may also announce to join politics probably with the new name. This correspondent attempted to reach Yahya Mujhaid, the spokesman of JuD, but he too was not available for comment.

No matter what Trump means for the end of civilisation and all that, he sure means what he says. Very refreshing in a politician. The US has now explicitly delineated a battle plan for Christendom and Islam.

This is what Muslim radicals wanted. I do not believe Islamism will win. India will be tempted to sit this one out as usual. US and Indian interests converge on China and Islamism. Trump is moving fast on both fronts. It will be a 10 to 20 year battle on both fronts.

New positions
http://www.dawn.com/news/1311519/new-positions
ON India’s Republic Day, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai was lit in the saffron, white and green of the Indian flag, the national colours flaming as lights sparkled around them. The musical fountains at the base of the world’s tallest buildings danced to the tunes of Jai Ho and Vande Mataram. Meanwhile, in Delhi, Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the crown prince of Abu Dhabi, attended the Republic Day parade as chief guest, having spent the past two days signing 14 MoUs with the Indian government in areas spanning energy, defence, maritime and infrastructure development. Many Pakistanis watched on in dismay, confused by the sight of a long-standing ally (from the ummah no less) literally take an arch rival into a warm embrace. But it is a sight they may become accustomed to.Growing UAE-India ties exemplify a broader trend that could accelerate in this era of shifting alliances and economic relationships, spurred on by Donald Trump’s erratic policies. Pakistan’s traditional allies have long been implementing policies aimed at ‘de-hyphenating’ their India-Pakistan relationships; that is, engaging in simultaneous diplomatic, security and economic initiatives with the two countries rather than choosing between them on the basis of religious affinity or historical links. But there are few other indications that Pakistan is willing to adjust to new regional dynamics. It’s most rapidly deepening and expanding relationship is with China, a traditional ally that is willing to pick sides, whether on the matter of Indian membership of the Nuclear Suppliers Group, the blacklisting of Maulana Masood Azhar at the UN Security Council, or Indian bellicosity regarding the Indus Water Treaty. The all-eggs-in-the-China-basket approach that Pakistan is increasingly taking suggests that it may still be expecting similar biases from other partners.More broadly, Pakistan wishes to be seen as an emerging market at a strategic location, with a pro-business culture and a consumer class of up to 70 million. But our allies’ de-hyphenation policies leave little room for this narrative, and are instead dominated by concerns about what they perceive as Pakistan’s role in militancy, despite two years of sustained counterterrorism operations.

Falijee wrote:Census On Again !

General Bajwa approves deployment of 200,000 troops for census
In Pakistan, the first four censuses i.e., 1951, 1961, 1972 and 1981, were held on time by the Population Census Organisation, in collaboration with staff from the provincial governments. The fifth census was due in 1991 and the House Listing Operation carried out in 1990 showed abnormal population growth in some parts of the country, which not be justified by normal demographic indicators.Consequently, the government decided to postpone the 1991 census. Another effort was made in 1994, which could not mature due to pressure by from political and ethnic groups.
It was decided that the 1998 census would be held with the support of the armed forces, which was broadly accepted by all political parties and appreciated internally. The sixth Population and Housing Census was due in 2008, but could not materialise due to the law and order situation in the country, a paucity of staff and financial constraints
So, IOW, no census has been taken after 1981, so all the govt planning and population estimates were largely based on Lahori logic and Sialkoti statistics . I suspect that the Pakistan wants to bury its hand in the sand and they are ashamed that they are "breeding like rabbits" - a demographic time bomb in the making
Falijee Ji :

Regarding So, IOW, no census has been taken after 1981 :

I quote from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics
After independence, the first census of Pakistan was conducted in 1951, the second in 1961 while the third census was held in 1972 instead of 1971 due to political environment in the country and war with India. The fourth census was held in March 1981 and fifth one which was due in 1991 could be held in March, 1998 due to specific circumstances.
There are two approaches of census enumeration:
(a) De-jure – in which persons are counted at their usual place of residence and
(b) De-fecto– in which persons are counted where they are found on the census data. In 1998 census both the approaches were applied simultaneously during enumeration, but the data was tabulated and published on de-jure basis for comparability of data over time.
TABLE-1: AREA & POPULATION OF ADMINISTRATIVE UNITS BY RURAL/URBAN: 1951-1998 CENSUSES :

Herein if you take the Population Proportionate Increase between between 1961 and 1998 (37 Years) and use the Figure for the Increase from 1981 to 2017 (36 Years) then the Pakistani Population in 2017 is close to 240 Million - Alarming indeed.

Thus your statement They are "breeding like rabbits" - a demographic time bomb in the making seems to "Right on the Button!"

In Pakistan, key positions in the Federal and Provincial bureaucracy are manned by retired faujis ; Home Secretary ( Pakjab ) as above is one (Retired) Major Azam Suleiman . In his letter of Jan 29, 2017 he is "directing" the Home Secretary to place Hafiz and three other "active members" ( active in terrorism!) under "preventative detention" ( whatever that means - house arrest with paya and biryani for lunch ?). If I recall "preventive detention" has been used before - for "window dressing", when the pressure from Massa is unbearable ; when the heats cools off, things are back to normal and the "professor sahib" is back in business

There was an attempt at a census in 2011, the preliminary results were leaked, and then the census was buried.
Info is here:

(Pakistan's population = 192+ million was supposedly the preliminary count from the 2011 census.)

A_Gupta Ji :

The Population Figures were much higher as per the following Article :

Population shoots up by 47 percent since 1998 : Abdul Sattar Khan - Thursday, March 29, 2012
LAHORE: Balochistan witnessed the highest and the Punjab the lowest increase in population from 1998 to 2011, with the country's overall population shooting up to an alarming 46.9 percent.
Households witnessed an increase of 50.4 percent during the period, according to preliminary results of housing listing 2011.
As compared to the population of 130,857,717 in 1998, the overall population was recorded at 192,288,944 in 2011 all over Pakistan, excluding three districts of Balochistan (Khuzdar, Kech and Panjgur) Agency of Fata (South Waziristan) as well as Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K) and Gilgit-Baltistan.
However, with the inclusion of population of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan, the population of the country would reach 197,361,691 in 2011 against 134,714,017 in 1998, showing an increase of 46.5 percent.
I am sure that on the inclusion of the three districts of Balochistan (Khuzdar, Kech and Panjgur) Agency of Fata (South Waziristan) the figure would be higher than 197,361,691!

“US-based researcher Arif Jamal argues that President Donald Trump cannot defeat radical Islam by excluding Saudi Arabia and Pakistan from his contentious move barring US entry to people from some Muslim nations” :

Trump's travel ban 'makes no sense' without Pakistan and S. Arabia
DW: While Saudi nationals were involved in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, the recent killings on US soil - the Orlando and San Bernardino shootings - were perpetrated by people of Afghan and Pakistani origin. Why did President Trump exempt these countries from the executive order?

Arif Jamal: It is too early and very difficult to evaluate President Trump's strategy. Although the US media is claiming that Trump spared these countries because he has business ties with them, this may only be true for Saudi Arabia. He has no investments in Pakistan and Afghanistan.

I believe he didn't put Afghanistan on the list because it would have created a lot of problems for US troops and other Americans working in the war-torn country. It is obvious that the Afghan government would have stopped cooperating with Washington if he had made such a move. Pakistan's case is different, and I think Trump is in the process of formulating a comprehensive policy for the Islamic country.

But one thing is pretty clear. The US cannot win the war against Islamism as long as Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are its allies.
Why is Trump reluctant to be tough on Pakistan and Saudi Arabia? What makes the US relations with Islamabad and Riyadh special?

I think President Trump will be tougher on Pakistan in the coming weeks and months. However, the same cannot be said about Saudi Arabia. But I would reiterate that Washington cannot defeat radical Islam and jihadist groups if it refuses to take strong actions against Saudi Arabia.

Will Pakistan and Saudi Arabia be now emboldened in their alleged support for radical Islamists knowing that Trump has excluded them from a direct ban?

Neither Pakistan nor Saudi Arabia see an ally in Trump. In fact, no Muslim-majority country is friendly towards him. This is the reason why Muslims from all over the world are taking part in anti-Trump demonstrations. These are the same Muslims who hardly take to the streets to protest against Islamists or their own governments.

If it happens it will force the hand of our politicians to just drop the charade and treat it as the pariah state that it is. And hopefully the same by other nations too, and will invite scrutiny of every aspect of their state including WMDs etc. Right now it is the RAPE class that provide a thin veneer of normalcy and sophistication over the rabid jihadi military state that makes Pakistan such a pain to deal with. Sooner the jihadis consume the RAPE class and the veneer is gone, the better.

Even a delusional idiot like MSA would have a hard time with advocating for him, but then again he and his ilk are totally shameless.

Jinnah's Secular Credentials Were Bogus According To This New Book .

Jinnah, Ambedkar And The Made-In-India Idea Of A Theocratic Pakistan
Some myths die hard. One relates to the circumstances in which Pakistan was carved out of undivided India in 1947. Some have blamed Mohammad Ali Jinnah’s power play with Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru for the creation of this theocratic state. Others have blamed Hindu chauvinists for frightening the Muslim minorities in northern India, pushing them to support the Muslim League’s politics of separatism. Yet others have pinned blame on the Congress’ “perfidy” in excluding the League from power after it won a majority on its own in the 1937 provincial elections in United Provinces (UP). Since the Congress and the League were in tacit arrangement to defeat the landlords’ party, the National Agriculturist Party (NAP), the Congress’s decision to rule on its own was the spark that enabled the League to talk about betrayal by Hindus.
Another myth was the one about Jinnah’s secular credentials. Not only did he abandon his outward Englishman’s dress and adopt the Sherwani, but – in the late 1930s, when Pakistan was far from a likelihood – he was talking about Pakistan being the centre of global Islamic revival. When the Pakistan flag was first unveiled in Mumbai in 1938, he talked of it as the flag for Muslims to rally under, as it was “given to us by our Prophet”. On another occasion, after a visit to Mohammad Iqbal’s grave in 1942, Jinnah is said to have remarked that “Pakistan holds the key to the liberation of the entire Islamic world.” These are not words of a secular politician. If Jinnah was secular, he had left those ideas far behind in the mid-30s. His claims to holding the secular flag ended when he adopted the Islamic standard, and too much has been read into his speech to the Pakistan constituent assembly in August 1947, where he said that in due course “Hindus would cease to be Hindus and Muslims would cease to be Muslims, not in the religious sense, because that is the personal faith of each individual, but in the political sense as citizens of the state.”
It was essentially restated in Pakistani historian Ayesha Jalal’s own book on Jinnah (The Sole Spokesman: Jinnah, the Muslim League, and the Demand for Pakistan). Jalal claimed that Jinnah did not want a separate Pakistan, but merely used it as a bargaining chip to obtain parity for Muslims with Hindus in India. This line has been bought hook, line and sinker by India’s Left-Liberals, who like to use this as a stick to beat down the BJP-Sangh view that Jinnah was “communal”.
You only need to read Venkat Dhulipala’s monumental work, Creating a New Medina (Cambridge University Press, paperback, 530 pp) to resolve the issue.
We will probably live the Partition debates again in secular India. Dhulipala’s book is a must-read for anyone who wants an insight into what drove – and still drives – Muslim politics in India.Ambedkar’s advice to Hindus before 1947 was to “let them go.” One wonders what he would suggest today, when the Muslim question remains largely unresolved even in truncated India and non-Muslim minorities have been systematically cleansed from both Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Prove sincerity by taking credible action against Hafiz Saeed, India tells Pakistan - Economic Times
Following the preventive detention of 26/11 Mumbai attacks mastermind Hafiz Saeed by Pakistan on Monday night, India today asserted that such actions have been carried out in the past and only a credible crackdown on the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) chief will be proof of "Pakistan’s sincerity".

India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Vikas Swarup today tweeted, "Exercises such as yesterday’s orders against Hafiz Saeed and others have been carried out by Pakistan in the past also. Only a credible crackdown on the mastermind of the Mumbai terrorist attack and terrorist organisations involved in cross border terrorism would be proof of Pakistan’s sincerity."

Swarup confirmed in his tweet that India has seen reports of the Pakistan Ministry of Interior placing the Jamaat-ud-Dawa, headed by Saeed, and the Falah-e-Insaniyet Foundation under the watchlist. Swarup also said the Falah-e-Insaniyet Foundation has been included in the second schedule of their anti-terror legislation under the United Nations Security Council Resolution No. 1267.

"We have also noted that Hafiz Saeed and four others have been placed under preventive detention," said Swarup.

Saeed who has a $10 million US bounty on his head was taken away by the police from a mosque in Lahore late on Monday. He was taken to his residence, where they appear to be holding him.
I recall Carlotta Gall's (?) piece in NYT after his previous house arrest which was an utter sham.

So, now, the pressure will be built up on India (now that the customary noises have been made about Hafiz Saeed & money laundering by Falah and Pakistan has 'detained' Professor saheb) to resume 'peace dialogue'. Curiously, there is no mention of Masood Azhar, Mumbai et al.

India should demand capital punishment or life time incarceration and deportation for Hafiz Suar. Keep the pressure up and beat them continuously for trying to cheat international community.

Also continue to demand similar action against D company and Moulana Azar. It is totally in our hands if we keep the pressure on Pakistan or let us get pressured due to this con act by Pukis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for us to make Pukis commit to international community much more than they intended to.

Jihadist mock Donald Trump's travel ban, vow more attacks
CAIRO: Supporters of Islamic State mocked US President Donald Trump's decision to deny entry to citizens of seven Muslim- majority countries, saying it would fail to stop attacks in the United States and help win new militant recruits instead.

Pakistani Hypocrisy About Trump's "Muslim Ban" Exposed !
By Mosharraf Zaidi

Trump’s ban, JFK and Sharbat Gula
The Muslim ban enacted by President Trump is going to launch a thousand narratives of victimhood, of seething rage, and of hatred. This is the power of the politics of exploitation.
This isn’t about race or religion or national origin. This is about exploitation of vulnerable people by dominant classes. It turns out that poorly informed white people in Western nations that have been estranged by globalisation are just as gullible in their politics as poorly informed brown people in Muslim-majority nations. There are many differences, but the similarities are breathtaking. Both end up being cannibalistic, both produce narcissistic regimes, and both tend toward corruption. Moreover, there is interdependence, synchronicity and even symbiosis.
Let’s take a closer look at our country. We all want America to stand by its first amendment, to protect the rights of our sisters in Islam, to wear the hijab, to be able to pray safely. As we should.Remember what we did to a small group of fellow citizens. We don’t even call them by the name they want to be called by. We call them Qadianis or Mirzais. We sneer contemptuously at them. We enact an amendment to our constitution to banish them. We drive them from their homes. And disown the first Pakistani- born Nobel Prize winner , who happened to be from that "category"
Remember Kot Radha Krishan, Gojra, and Badami Bagh? Remember Aasia Bibi, Salmaan Taseer, Rashid Rehman, and Shabaz Bhatti? There’s always something that makes it all less vile. Kot Radha Krishan was local politics. Gojra was a misunderstanding. Badami Bagh was a land dispute. Of course. Aasia, Salman, Rashid and Shahbaz all blasphemers. All is well in the republic? The guardians of "Islamic Ideology" in Pakiland do not want to "tarnish" their "green image" by behaving decently with people who do not follow Malsi !
Remember that time that Afghan refugees, to whom we opened our hearts and homes for over thirty five years, were kicked out unceremoniously because the uncles at the corps commanders meetings got mad at Ashraf Ghani for calling Narendra Modi “daddy”? Oops. So "revenge" against Ghani ( for being "friendly" with Modi-ji ) was manifested by deporting the "famous refugee woman" to Afghanistan
Our history is glorious, our current affairs are glorious, and our future is glorious! Throw in a fake news item about Davos here, and a fake doctor’s religious edicts there. Then add some hyperventilating suit-clad idiots validating it all. And wait for the equally vapid responses: “Look! 90 acres!” ( assuming that he is referring here to the "Bad Sharif " )
Challenges to the dominant class or its narrative? Blasphemy. Millions upon millions of Pakistanis, seduced by this cancerous fiction. It doesn’t seem to occur to the constitutional experts and strategic geniuses nursing these cancers that this seduction is what allowed Al-Qaeda and the Taliban the space in our discourse to be defended and justified for over a decade in the first place. That this seduction is what allows newer, more dangerous, more decentralised strains of radical thoughts and ideas to infect young and old brains across language, across sect and across ethnicity.
The new cancer may not respond to chemo, or radio, or even surgery. It respects neither hierarchy nor authority. It does not need green lights or signals from authorities above it. It is self-contained and autonomous, and attacks and metastasizes at will. The Quebec City attack alone will generate thousands of megawatts of energy to the cancer. We know this because we know Safoora Goth and Sabeen Mahmud. We know that these pivotal moments in our generation-long struggle to save this republic from eating itself are proof that our struggle is far from over. But who is our fight against? But many Pakistanis must have heard that there is a "new cancer specialist" in DC, who has promised that he has a sure-fire cure for cancer !
The fight is against those fictions, and the bubbles that we curate for ourselves, and in which those fictions find a home. Americans did it to themselves, this Trump business, but they seem to have institutions that might be robust enough to challenge the tsunami of dangerous decisions upon them. Having watched Afghan refugees being banished back to Afghanistan, having watched Gojra burn, having watched memorial vigils for Salmaan Taseer with less than a dozen people, and having watched bloggers go missing, we need to ask ourselves about our society’s own resilience and our state’s capability to resist the fictions it weaves itself. The exploitation of vulnerable people by the dominant classes is not just on paddy fields, or cotton mills, or call centres. It is happening in our TV rooms, and on our smartphones. And at the same time, the "Deep State" is stifling social media activists by making them disappear and later on releasing them on the promise of "good behaviour" on their part to protect the "Ideological Frontiers" of Pakiland

Govt issues order to place JuD chief Hafiz Saeed under house arrest
Police sources further informed that Saeed will be shifted to his residence in the Johar Town area of the provincial capital, which will then be declared as a sub-jail. what a joke !
The provincial authorities have also started to remove the banners of JuD from the roads of Lahore. Which will be temporarily "stored" in govt godowns at state expense !
Awan said the Pakistani government had been under pressure from the United States to take action against Saeed or face sanctions. “This government has buckled under the pressure.” All efforts must be made to "protect" this prized asset of the "Deep State" 10 Million bounty or no 10 Million bounty

Two freed Pakistani bloggers go abroad for safety: relatives
By Business Recorder
SLAMABAD: Two Pakistani bloggers who vanished earlier this month have left the country fearing for their safety, relatives told AFP on Monday.
They were among five men who went missing from various cities in Pakistan. Four of the five who had stood against religious intolerance and criticised various state institutions have been freed, their families said. They would not comment on where the men had been held.Their disappearances triggered nationwide protests and raised concerns of government involvement -- claims denied by officials.Allegations on social media networks Facebook and Twitter and by right-wing TV hosts that the missing men were blasphemers has triggered a flood of threats despite denials from their worried families.
Liaqat Ali Goraya, the father of blogger Waqas Goraya, confirmed to AFP that his son was safe and had left the country. But his nephew Abdur Rahman Cheema, whose disappearance at the same time as his son was not reported to the media, was still missing.
Confirms earlier suspicion that "Deep State" is the culprit . But were later released on promises of future "good behaviour" and tempting offers of "banishment abroad" ; the "missing" one is still being "worked upon" by "organs" of the Deep State
"Waqas has gone, we've sent him abroad," said his father, declining to comment on who had held him. Before he went missing, Goraya was based in The Netherlands and had returned to Pakistan for a family wedding.A source close to the family of blogger Asim Saeed confirmed he too had left the country.A relative of a third blogger, who asked to remain anonymous, said both he and his family had left their home town and were in hiding. Pakistan is poised to become a member of the "Chini-internet system" with its tight controls and other censorship methods to starve social activists and "free thinkers" ( internet cable from Khunjarab pass to Karachi being built ; once it is complete under the auspices of the so-called CPEC , a veil of censorship will fall in this so-called Islamic country !)
"We are going to think about it for a few days and assess the situation. If it seems ok, we'll return, else we'll try to go abroad," the relative said.Zeeshan Haider said his brother, poet and activist Salman Haider, was "fine and safe".The whereabouts of the fifth man remain unknown. ( Deep State ) "Abroad" Offer too good to refuse !

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari warns US against including Pakistan in travel ban
PTI | Updated: Jan 31, 2017, 10.38 AM IST
WASHINGTON: Pakistan Peoples Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has warned the Trump administration against including his country in the list of travel ban nations, saying such a move will create a "host of hostilities" between the two countries.
Bilawal's remarks came as the White House is seeking to expand the list of seven Muslim-majority countries whose citizens have been barred from entering the US.
"As far as the ban is concerned, I believe it only has detrimental effects on the countries it has included and if that is extended to Pakistan it will create a whole host of hostilities," Bilawal told a Washington audience on Monday.
He was responding to a question on whether Pakistan can be included in a list of seven nations as per an executive order signed by US President Donald Trump last week.
Bilawal said including Pakistan in such a list "would also be a very negative indicator that the United States is turning away from those very ideals that it stood for", adding that, "I hope that this is not the new normal."

Pakistan’s actions against Jamaat-ud-Dawa and Falah-i-Insaniyat is believed to have been prompted by an impending report by the Asia-Pacific Group (APG) on Money Laundering on these outfits.
The report apparently contains several “adverse remarks” against Pakistan.
The problem for Pakistan is that this report will be submitted to the International Cooperation Review Group (ICRG) of the inter-state Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
Besides being a major loss of face, such a referral means the country’s own evaluation report is considered suspect or has “significant deficiencies” as FATF itself puts it. North Korea and Iran have had such referrals because of the lack of trust in their regimes. The ICRG can make its judgment and issue public statements against country, which can start with a warning to taking specific countermeasures against the country if it doesn’t show compliance.
