US has a new president and BRF has a new thread to discuss all things United States that have nought to do with India.

Take it away people..

I think the time has come for the US to learn something from India: A multi political party system. The two party system is coming to an end, with neither the Democrats nor the Republicans providing a foundation to base anything on. Trump has essentially and will continue to use the Republicans for his own ends, which, in most ways, are not Republican. And, there is no Democratic party that is worth talking of - a headless creature, with some life still left, somewhere.

Perhaps a Republican-B, a Republican-T (for sure) and a Democrat-O, to go along with the appendix.

NRao, Teddy Roosevelt set up the Progressive party (after his protege Taft went his own way) after two terms. And yet, he was unable to change the situation. For a successful President itself, it was impossible to break this two party system. We know Johnson was a spoiler for Shillary but it made no real difference by itself. It is at the grass-roots that parties change. The tea party movement other than being a collective for wingnuts, also helped the racist or white vote rally around some unhappiness. Trump added the right emotion about the voters being disenfranchised and outnumbered. No one in both parties could do anything about it. btw, more Latinos voted for Trump than for Romney. Speaks a lot about how many people have their ear to the ground.

There needs to be a thread to catalogue the violence / rioting and iconic imbeciles of the Alt-Left (that's the new term for Liberal left, folks...)folks like Don King and that Indian-American Rajesh something )

Most of the Alt-Left is comprised of low-IQ imbeciles who, given the right prodding, will descend from rarefied talk of human rights to calling for presidential assassination, decapitation and what not. No different from Islamists - this sorry bunch ! Would be interesting to figure out what kind of prodding is required in order for these morons to reveal their true character in full glory.

One can only hope! This "Tang Revolution" has finally made khanland a half-decent democracy. Now it is time for Europe to clean up their national monuments off those freeloading families calling themselves as "constitutional monarchs". Especially those countries forking out a sadist armament manufacturer's bloody money as some kind of uber-prize for piss, STEM et al to be taken to the cleaners.

Countries that claim to be progressive bastions either can do the right thing by embracing the science and wire the bloody money to the hardworking scientists' accounts. Or you can continue to play a 1940s Disney princess act, by forking the medals out to the heeling worthies in a tawdry ceremony.

its the BNP paribas trader pictured above. not the boxing organizer.

I hope DT is spending good cycles these 2 months on how to punish and chase his numerous enemies both in dems and repubs. since the repub elite disowned him, he is a free agent and a unique person in between both camps of career politicians.

some observations

trump supporters at rallies have regularly shouted - "burn the witch" and "kill Obama" - and trump never asked them to be quiet... quite the reverse, and then there is a "2nd amendment folks..." comment; we can ignore all of that as rhetoric, but then so must we with the other side of the spectrum - or we must condemn both

bannon is an unknown and potentially dangerous element . I am watching with some amusement desis thinking that alt.right is somehow a good thing for them... Darwin award nominations on their way

the alt.right is well connected and reciprocated with the IB movement in Europe - drawing on the same ideology and support base in their own demographic and using the same tools and methods. this is a new age fascist resurgence and we would be wise to pay attention to it

No question that threat of violence by any side needs to be strongly condemned !

Can you provide any evidence regarding claims of "burn the witch" and "kill Obama" ? On the other hand here is the evidence against the Alt Left: http://www.infowars.com/hillary-support ... qus_thread

I thinkwhat you are seeing here is not love for the alt right, but disgust at the hypocrisy of the duplicitous left, and its moral bankruptcy.

I don't have a problem with the disgust for the "left" - everyone needs to be scrutinized

just in terms of context - Hillary's policies are somewhat to the right of Theresa May - and May is considered to be on the righter side of the conservative party which is usually considered very right in the UK (and she is holding off the even further right players there as part of her post brexit balancing act) and keeping the UKIP under control - who are frankly drawing away the brown shirt wearing Nazis into the mainstream with their platform!

so you can see why Europe is alarmed at the Donald and even more so at the alt.right

many desis in yamreeka have not experienced economic hardship or the fascists first hand - I understand that, many desis in Europe have - gives us a different perspective perhaps

in terms of evidence for what is said at trump rallies - the 2nd amendment piece has been on tv enough times, the chanting of kill Obama etc were cited numerous times, most recently in this week's Economist - not as a sensationalist report, but as a matter of fact part of the trump ascendancy

Never fear - he'll be bending over for Pleet Bhalala cavity searches after the Big Guys In Dark Glasses are done "interviewing" him.
For anyone here that has any doubts on that - **ANY**** statements, hints, wrong looks, that are determined to constitute a possible intention to encourage physical harm to anyone in the First Family, First Pets etc, can expect to trigger those visitors.

So what about the threats to the present entity, hain?

Do you know for sure that those who made those threats are not in bend-over mode right now? The Secret Service has only so many agints, it takes them a while to get around to everyone, but they will, sooner or later.

The sanctimonious, patronizing left has been exposed thread bare. It is completely naked and ugly, which many had not seen and were fooled by the perfume and lipstick on them. This is the most obvious thing that is now no longer can be hidden.
Well as far as equal=equal with right, that is just to divert the bottom to which left will and does race. The rights are already branded as bigoted, so what is the prablem hain ji?

A candidate who had all the help from examiners, to question paper leaked, to press to dogs, puppies, and cats backing the candidate to full hilt, could not muster to pass, even after cheating in preliminary exams. This speaks volumes about the failed candidate, inspite of all the extra help, the candidate did not study, just thought showing up to exam will warranty getting through the exam, on false belief all the examiners would not know how to count and tally :rotfl:
Even the opposition candidate was already not attempting many questions, to allow the most exalted candidate to get to the finish line. Such failure is disgrace!

Now, some are talking about if only the rules were not electoral college, then the opposition candidate would also have changed tactics appropriately. Trump played well with the set of rules, although he was not in favour of those rules and is still not in favour of those rules.
A megalomanic candidate could not even win with all the backing, but most of her backers are behaving true to their colors. This revelation was much needed. Could they go anymore lower?.. Do not have to point out to how right behaves, because they are already known as "bigoted".

Short term Trump will be able to do some good, but the J syndicate won,t let him function. The same shenanigans that u saw during last 18 months will continue. Only way this republic will survive and thrive in the long term is if the patriots in the US military takes over washington and the same things are done which Putin did in Russia. All oligarchs needs to be shown the gate. The blacks and hispanics are being used to threaten the whites and divide and rule is in play by the J syndicate. The rot is set and this country will not be able to move forward in peace. Major violence and even civil war is in the future.certain things can not be said in public of course.

A strong president with checks and balances I can understand but Military takeover! That is no way to fix or run a country.

I have no direct stakes in the US elections but what happens in US will have impact worldwide.
