And India is letting a muslim piglet come to India for treatment. Why??
It is like the story of scorpion and the holy man. It is the duty of the holy man to save the scorpion from drowning in water, and it is the duty of the scorpion to sting the holy man. Each is bound by his nature. India is going to suffer for such decisions.

No one is asking where's the missing baby. Perhaps these were adult diapers.

Eurobond debt paid off with Chinese loan
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Thursday paid back $750 million Eurobond debt but only after receiving $1 billion loan from China, as the country struggles to sustain the official foreign currency reserves at their current levels amid mounting foreign payments requirements.
Pakistan retired the Eurobond debt of $750 million, said an official of State Bank of Pakistan. However, despite the retirement of debt, Pakistan’s external debt would not reduce, as the country borrowed another $1 billion from China Development Bank to pay back the old debt. With fresh $1 billion borrowing, Chinese banks have given $2 billion loan to Pakistan during past nine months alone. These loans have been obtained on an interest rate ranging from 4.22 per cent to 4.44 per cent, according to Finance Ministry documents. However, the government waived off all taxes on these loans to show a reasonable cost of borrowing.

Ganja Jr. Given 3rd Degree ! Grilled In Isolation For Seven Hours Without A Lawyer By The So-Called JIT !

Panama JIT questions Hassan Nawaz for seven hours

ISLAMABAD: The questioning of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s younger son, Hassan Nawaz, by the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) probing the Panama Papers lasted for approximately seven hours on Friday. The premier's son reached the Federal Judicial Academy — the office of the JIT — at around 10am to record his statement and left at 5pm. Hassan Nawaz did not speak to the media after leaving the Federal Judicial Academy. Hope the "grilling" was done in an non- air conditioned room to ensure that the choice - "Grade A Meat " was fully cooked What if Junior was on Roza Shoza ; did the Team go easy on him because of Holy Month ? And hope they had the courtesy to allow him "pishab breaks" !
The JIT is investigating the prime minister's family’s global financial dealings( more like global gol- maal IMO !) in light of the Supreme Court's April 20 judgment.
The premier's son brought with him some documents ( hope that the JIT had a forsenic expert examine the docs for authenticity knowing the family's reputation for "business shrewdness" ) as well which he took with him.
Sources said Hassan — a businessman ( it is too dignified a word to use for him ; he is more or less a caretaker stationed in Londonistan - to keep an eye on the ill-gotten wealth of his family !) — recently arrived in Pakistan from London after receiving summons from the JIT.
On Thursday, the premier’s elder son, Hussain Nawaz, appeared for the third time in front of the JIT. Nawaz Jr "volunteered" for Abbaji's sake to save Ganja the embarrassment of a "sitting PM" being grilled for corruption . And there is the iffy state of Ganja's health
“If the matters proceed in a fair manner then it’s fine otherwise we would present the issue before the Supreme Court and public,” said Hussain.Hussain informed that he has been summoned again by the JIT for the next session. “I was made to wait for two hours,” (Complaints, Complaints and Complaints ! Now he knows how the "Aam Abduls" of Pakiland feel like  ) he said, adding whoever the JIT summons has to appear before it. ( IMO, it is a dig against Imran !)
The premier’s son said that he was interrogated in isolation, and was not allowed to be accompanied by a lawyer. His "safirish" may help him in the next session !
Moreover, sources informed that Hussain has again been summoned by the JIT on Saturday, June 3. So the so- called JIT in not making any concessions due to "Holy Month Of Ramzan"

Pakistan MSCI Dream Becomes Dull Reality as Stock Losses Deepen

Pakistan’s back but not with a bang.

The KSE100 Index posted the steepest fall in almost two years after foreigners sold a net $82 million of shares on the eve of the nation’s re-entry into MSCI Inc.’s emerging-markets index and concerns about the economy resurfaced. The outflow, the biggest since July 2013, dashed hopes that the market would attract large amounts of money after its promotion.

“Local investors had positioned with expectation” of inflows, said Ovais Ahsan, regional sales trader at Renaissance Capital in Dubai. “Everyone in general was expecting $200 million to $500 million of net inflows.”

Pakistani Paper Downplays Afghan Report Blaming Taliban For Recent Kabul Attack ! Counters Accusations With Discredited Propaganda Of Its Own !

Kabul bombing: NDS-RAW propaganda defames Pakistan despite ISIS’s claims of deadly attack

Despite the ISIS’s claims of Thursday’s horrific attack in the Afghan capital, a propagandist campaign seeks to make us believe otherwise.Adamant on defaming Pakistan, the propaganda backed by NDS-RAW nexus has been disseminating rumours that the terrorists who conducted the brutal attack were backed by Pakistan. Time will tell with solid evidence !
Ehsanullah Ehsan’s startling revelations:Former Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesperson Ehsanullah Ehsan confessed that the militant group TTP had links with Indian and Afghan intelligence agencies. The "bad terrorist" "drycleaned" as a "good terrorist" and amply rewarded
Kulbhushan Jadhav’s terror activities and confessions.Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav, an on-duty officer for the Indian Navy, confessed to his crimes in a recorded video statement televised by the ISPR last year following his arrest. Businessman kidnapped and coerced into making a "false confession" !
Indian nationals killed in MOAB blast.15 Indian nationals were killed in the Mother Of All Bombs which was dropped in Afghanistan to target Islamic State fighters in April
Among the dead were also 15 Indian nationals, according to sources. The Indian nationals killed in the attack were involved in anti-Pakistan activities, as per sources. Wild allegations thrown in for good measure
India supplying painkillers to ISIS.A huge consignment of 37 million tramadol, worth $75 million, pills from India to be sold to ISIS terrorists in Libya, has been seized by the Italian police.
Italian police said the consignment had come from India and would have been used for two purposes: to help finance terrorism and for use by fighters as a stimulant and to heighten resistance to physical stress, according to the British daily. Possible Illegal acts by unscrupulous businessman taken to mean official sanction by Govt !
“India neutralises terrorists only through terrorists”.In his shocking and radical statement, the Indian Defence Minister, Manohar Parrikar associated India with state sponsored terrorism and asserted that “terrorists have to be neutralised only through terrorists, and India will take up proactive steps to prevent 26/11 type attack”? Paki twist / spin on minister's statement ! In the recent weeks and months, the domestic happenings in Pakiland and the foreign antics of Paki politicos has taken a hit on the so-called Echendee of Pakistan . Therefore, the Paki media has but no option but to blame India for its troubles !

Pakistani Doctor In UK Now Faces Disciplinary Action By Medical Body

Pakistani doctor faces being struck off after groping patient's breasts

Syed Bukhari, 35, ( cannot get a more Paki name than this !) molested the 28-year old woman twice in two days whilst she was being treated for chest pains and palpitations when he deliberately "targeted" her whilst doing his rounds. The unnamed woman was left embarrassed and distressed after Bukhari fondled and cupped her breasts in his hands in a 90 second "massages" then touched her legs and placed his hand beneath her underwear whilst asking her whether was in pain.
The doctor also gave her his yahoo email address, tried to send her an email, asked where she lived and whether was taking contraception and told her: "We'll be friends forever." The patient later made a complaint and said: "I felt very uncomfortable and nervous.
"I spoke to a nurse and asked her if the doctor coming to see me was a nice doctor because I felt uncomfortable with the previous one. I was quite tearful and upset. "You just put your trust in a doctor, I assumed he was doing what he had to do. "After he left I said to the other girls in the ward that I was really uncomfortable and he was in my pants and everything and they said 'that's not right'." Bukhari - who arrived in Britain with his college student wife in 2010 - was initially reported to police but after he was cleared of wrongdoing at a criminal he was ordered to face a misconduct tribunal by the General Medical Council. Was he not getting "enough sex" at home or was he looking for "white flesh" like his co-Pakis in North Bartania
At the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service in Manchester he was found guilty of all charges and now faces being struck off.The hearing was told the loss of his medical career would mean he now could be deported back to his native Pakistan by the Home Office. The deportation should definitely be implemented. But he can still hold his head high in Pakiland , as there is nothing to be ashamed of there! Such occurrences are quite common there in sex hungry Pakistan !
Following the allegation, Bukhari, from Inverness was suspended by the hospital but he got a job at another health trust in Scotland after wrongly saying the sexual assault allegations had been "completely resolved." The Pakistaniyat resurfaces
During the hearing he denied wrongdoing and insisted that in his native Pakistan it was common practice for doctors to hand over email addresses to patients and he said he asked where she lived as "normal chit chat". He also said he felt no sexual attraction to the woman. .But panel chairman Paul Curtis said: "The Tribunal does not accept you had 'randomly selected' her file. "The Tribunal considers it more likely that you saw her on the ward and then you deliberately selected her file and decided to review her of your own accord."You had undertaken inappropriate examinations of Patient A over the course of two days and these were sexually motivated and you attempted to pursue a sexual relationship with Patient A by asking for her email address. "Such conduct by one of the profession's members can erode public confidence in the medical profession as a whole." A decision on whether to strike off Dr Bukhari from the medical register will be taken later. There were recent Paki news reports that Massa has clamped down on "import" of Paki Doctors , but not due to this reason.

Conclusion: Jo La-Whore mae ghandu , woh Manchester mae bhi......

[–]glassspark [score hidden] 16 minutes ago
Hey, this is a serious problem, every year millions of books are wasted. We have started a startup to create a shared economy of used books, ensuring that books are not treated as garbage. ( AKA as "raddhi" in the vernacular !).We also believe that books should be affordable for everyone and are working towards that. We are always looking for people who are passionate about the cause to join us and help make a real difference. We are Bookcity.pk! ( "soft sell" for his dhanda ? ) Also, if someone has any bright ideas about how more can be done, please do get in touch, also watch out for our launch, which is happening soon! permalinkembed

PS: In this day and age of blasphemy charges, ( real or fake !) he still is "sticking his neck out" and making his pitches for books , but not THE BOOK

Paki - Holier Than Thou - Aam Abdul ( And TV Anchor) Profusely Apologizes To A Paki Ayesha After Insulting Her On His Ramzan TV Show

Sahir Lodhi attempts to clarify misbehaviour with woman on live TV

The Express Tribune > Life & Style > Gossip

Sahir Lodhi recently faced the wrath of Twitterati after a clip of him insulting a participant on his Ramazan transmission went viral.
The girl, who had just started speaking, was shut down by the host when she mentioned Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah in her speech. That’s when Lodhi butted in and began blasting her on air. “Who gave you the permission to question the services of Jinnah? We would have not been living here so freely if he hadn’t helped us,” the 49-year-old actor said. Educated Paki Ayeshas are just beginning to " come out of the closet " but the Aam Abduls and the Mullah Brigade do not have anything with this = = nonsense
However, the Raasta star has now issued a clarification about his stance on the matter. Islam or no Islam, advertising sponsors through the power of money - like everywhere else !- now force these male chauvinist anchors to "eat their own words" !
He says, “I humbly apologise to you, I got a bit carried away. Please do not blame Quaid-e-Azam, do not blame Liaquat Ali Khan. I apologise for the way I spoke, for getting too blunt and curt. Please do forgive me in this world and the Hereafter.” There is no need to invoke the "afterworld" in this purely wordly matter !
Since he already apologised to the unintentional unease caused by his ‘moving’ speech for Jinnah, we wonder what Lodhi might have to say about this. The "Holy Month" it seems , has become a forum for "entertainment" , instead of a period of prayers and piety as it should be ; wonder, if the Mullah Brigade has taken "notice" of this UnIslamic Behaviour

Method of unblocking CNIC can turn Chaudhry Nisar ‘Sikh’: PkMAP minister

ISLAMABAD: Upset by the ‘undue stress’ created by the requirement to produce a family tree for unblocking of a Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC), a senior Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) leader opened up the ‘great-grandfather’ of debates by going after the ancestry of a sitting federal minister.

MPA Nasrullah Khan Zerey has claimed that newly devised criteria for unblocking CNIC is so tough that even Minister of Interior Chaudhry Nisar Khan would fail and turn out to be a “Sikh” while collecting three-generation old documents proving his family tree.

Director General National Database Regulatory Authority (Nadra) Balochistan has recently forwarded an interesting conversation happened between the said MPA and Nadra’s Quetta staff for consideration of chairman Nadra.

The ‘occurrence report’ states that Zerey not only criticised new policy to unblock CNICs but also kept on saying: “Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar cannot produce his Shajra-e-Nasb [family-tree], as after three generations the minister would also appear to be a Sikh”.

DG Quetta reported that following this argument, the provincial minister was told not to be specific and refrain from naming anyone in particular but on this Zerey turned harsher.

“MPA [Nasrullah Khan Zerey] was briefed about the new policy … but he did not accept the facts and continuously argued in harsh tone,” DG Quetta said.

The minister was there along with some individuals whose ID cards were blocked by Nadra under the National Re-verification Drive.

The DG in his letter addressed to chairman Nadra said although the situation was handled with the best to one’s ability but his unruly attitude of the PkMAP minister must be taken into notice.

Nadra has recently approved a new policy to deal with the issue of thousands of CNICs blocked after placing them under ‘suspect’ category.

The cases have been divided in two categories: routine cases and complex Cases.

Routine cases will be dealt with by Nadra itself, while complex cases will be referred to district level committees – comprising MNAs of respective district, a deputy commissioner/assistant political agent, district police officer, and representatives of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and Intelligence Bureau (IB).

Under the new mechanism, a CNIC, upon submission of required documents by an individual, will be cleared within 6 to 30 working days. An individual with blocked CNIC will be cleared if he submits any of the required documents.

These documents may be a land record registered prior to 1978, local/domicile certificate issued prior to 1978, a pedigree [Shajra-e-Nasb], government employment certificate, educational documents issued prior to 1978, and any other document – arms or driving licence or manual NIC issued prior to 1978.

These documents are required to be verified by the issuing authorities.

At district level committees, verification of attested documents will be required from a deputy commissioner or an assistant political agent. In case of verification, blocked CNICs will be restored upon confirmation of national status of suspected individuals.

Under routine category, recently the Nadra has temporarily cleared over 100,000 CNICs.

ISLAMABAD: Former interior minister Rehman Malik criticized United States President Donald Trump over not mentioning Pakistan’s sacrifices in the war against terror during his speech in the US-Arab-Islamic Summit, Samaa reported.

Expressing his reservations while speaking with media, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Malik said that Pakistan has rendered more sacrifices in the war against terrorism than any country in the world.

He added that undermining Pakistan in front of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was saddening.

“Trump has hurt the feelings of Pakistanis by not mentioning the sacrifices of Pakistan in the war against terrorism,” the PPP leader said.

Malik criticizes Trump over not mentioning Pakistan’s sacrifices against terrorism

In an article titled “A Calculated Saudi Snub to Pakistan”, journalist from the Mohammadden Terrorism Fomenting Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Karamatullah K Ghori, adds one more point that explains why the fury in the Islamic Republic over what transpired at the Riyadh summit. That additional point that caused fury was Saudi Arabia's invitation to the President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, to mount the podium and make a speech, an invitation that was not given to the Leader of the “Sole Islamic Nuclear Power” :

Rubbing salt into Pakistani wounds was the calculated Saudi affront of giving the podium to the president of Indonesia, supposedly representing the non-Arab part of the Muslim Ummah.

Technically, Pakistan should’ve no room for grouse at Indonesia’s honour to speak for the non-Arab Muslims. Indonesia is, on the basis of population, the largest Muslim state.

Article also points out “Saudi Arabia has had a special status in the perception of Pakistanis, high and low alike.

A liking bordering on infatuation for Saudi Arabia is anchored in the common Muslim’s belief that it’s the cradle of Islam—the official religion of Pakistan as enshrined in its constitution.

X Posted from the Oppression of Minorities in Pakistan thread.

In the Mohammadden Terrorism Fomenting Islamic Republic of Pakistan, three adherents of the minority Ahmadiyya aka Ahmadi sect of Mohammaddenism are sentenced to three years imprisonment and PKR 50K fine for the crime of ”excessive use of Quran and Islamic literature” along with “illegal possession of the Islamic Holy book”.

Pretty bizarre that Pakistan which takes every opportunity to tom tom its Mohammadden belief based credentials including terming itself an Idelogical Muslim State, Islamic Republic, Sole Islamic Nuclear Power and not to mention naming many of its ballistic missiles after Afghan War Lords who raped and plundered areas that forms today Pakistan simply because that were Mohammadden; has criminalised ”excessive use of Quran and Islamic literature” along with “illegal possession of the Islamic Holy book”:

A friendship on hold for cricket
Qureshi [Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi , the doubles partner of Rohan Bopanna] is an enthusiastic fan of the Pakistan team and all its idiosyncrasies.

“India are the favourites. Pakistan has a young team, so you have to be realistic,” he said.

“If we beat India and lose all the matches, the players will still go home as heroes. But if we lose to India and win the trophy, everyone will just remember losing to India.” {He has spoken like a true Pakistani}

Bopanna sees India winning on Sunday and making the final for which he has already secured tickets.

“It doesn’t matter what the tournament is or where the game is played, it’s always a big match,” he said.

“We are two great countries.{Somebody has to din some sense into Rohan Bopanna} Off the field, the players are friends; on it, they play to win.”

To experts - Why this is a news? We all know Paki's are clueless and there is always a foul stench in any Pakistan. Yet the headline:

Authorities clueless as foul stench afflicts Karachi residents
Several people said the smell prompted their family members to search the house for a dead animal.

Some likened the smell to the stink of a dead rat..
But officials say it suggested that the odour may be due to chicken excretion
Others are blaming on Biological warfare (no doubt from RAW) ..
...

But serious alert (Do not have any hot drink near by) before you read this:
The official declined to be named and said he cannot give an official explanation.

"The smell has nothing to do with weather or the shifting wind," another official said.

"The smell is likely related to the environment," the official added.

Bhutto-Zardari family retainer and former Paki High Commissioner to UK wishes that the best role for Pakistan would be that of an "honest broker" between Iran and Saudi in the "Muslim Nato"

Amber G.-ji:

"Problem solved"- As usual ( not by brilliant Paki scientists ! ) by "foreign experts" ! Read on and "enjoy" the fresh breeze now

Here is why 'strange smell' engulfed Karachi

KARACHI: People of Karachi have taken to social media to complain about the "weird smell" that enveloped different parts of the city for the past few days. Word Wide Fund-Pakistan ( query e-mailed to the World Body HQ ; answer received by E mail ; problem solved ! credit "taken" by WWF - Pak officials ! . Doubt "Paki scientists" had a clue what was going on ; "copy and paste" - like AQ [ photo-chor ! ] Khan) . on Friday resolved the mystery, saying the stench was caused by decay of small planktonic dinoflagellate called Noctilucascintillans.Mass bloom of this small free floating organism was reported from the Arabian Sea including the Pakistan coast. It is reported that the bloom was more prominent along the Pakistan and Oman coasts.

Hussain Nawaz appears before Panama Papers case JIT for the FOURTH TIME

For God's Allah's sake so-called JIT members are urged and requested ( not demanded !) to give this "beefy steak" ( Nawaz Jr! ) a reprieve in the "Holy Month Of Ramzan" . Let him enjoy the company of his near and dear ones ( extended family ) (before he departs for Londonistan again !) at Abbaji's palatial quarters and grounds - with its own private zoo containing exotic animals and birds - at the Raiwind Estate . They can "grill" him to their satisfaction ( well- done please !) once the Eid festivities are over and done with

While the Pakis keep killing us, we seem to be fixated on curing their kids...

From earlier today... J&K: Two jawans martyred, 4 injured as terrorists attack Army convoy in Qazigund

The message has not changed over the last few decades....remembering Noor's story....

The question that momeens should be asking themselves is "why was the floating green plankton onleee attracted to the bakistani coast" ? After all, it could have easily "chosen" other faithful lands such as eyeran or doobai, hainji? Is it because bakis are the most faithful (greenest of the green) and their land attracts true faith? This stench should be seen as a sign of good omen.

Unbelievable! The usual paki self-entitlement continues, if this letter is genuine. Instead of recognizing their own short comings and inability to provide quality medical care, PMA is accusing the Indian government of denying the paki abdul's right to seek medical treatment in India. Perhaps PMA should write a similar demarche to the US, Canadian and UK governments as well.

Anandya- ji:
True Demand Letter or A Fake Demand Letter - it does not matter ! But this idiom - with reference to the above letter - fits Pakistan to a T !:

Give Pakis an inch and they will want a mile !

PS: Indus Water Treaty ( IWT ) is another good example of the above truism !

From what I have been told - part of the reason for slowing down medical visas for Pakis is due to people using this avenue to enter India, only to subsequently disappear (within India). Am quite sure, this is happening for other visas too.

"Deep State" Goons Working Overtime In The Holy Month Of Ramzan To Ensure The Islamic Eidology Of Pakistan

Journalist escapes 'abduction bid' in Islamabad

According to his statement, Syed left his office Friday night at 9:20pm for his residence. Shortly after, he claimed to have been intercepted by a red Suzuki Mehran which halted in front of his vehicle near the Capital Development Authority Enclave. At that point, Syed alleged that two pillion riders also appeared, one of them masked.
They all surrounded the journalist's car and asked him to step down, the complaint read, adding that two of them tried to unlock the doors of the car. One of the suspected abductors was holding a pistol, Syed claimed. Copy book S.O.P. of the Deep State !

Khawar ( My Laard !) Qureshi Not Sacked From His" Pakistani Job " Yet

Jadhav case: Three-member Pakistani team to appear before ICJ

Pakistan team consists of Attorney General Ashraf Ausaf, Foreign Office Director General Dr. Faisal and Pakistani lawyer Khawar Qureshi. So, no "top billing" for him this time ! Hope that he does not bill an arm and a leg( like last time !) to the bankrupt Paki Govt . Hope that he also does not have to defend his fees in a public (TV ) forum. Is he also charging the Paki Govt for " incidentals" ( meals, lodging, transportation,( sea, air , road , walking !) phone calls, TV and radio interviews, postage, photocopies) according to his "prestigious firm's " billing manual

So the PMA demands that India provide competence and management that 'doctors' in Pakistan are too stupid to provide.

And if India doesn't? Do they don suicide vests to slip across the border into Indian hospitals? The Pakistani public must adore them for being so firm with India.

Yes these inbreds need medical treatment but how about providing medical care to every Indian first? Or Indian physicians too callous for that? After all it doesn't generate the press coverage.

Pakistan On Radar Of "Financial Action Task Force Again ! May Be Put On" BlackList ". World Body Not Convinced Of Paki Window Dressing Measures

How Pakistan is tackling terror financing to stay off a list of 'terror-friendly' nations

Pakistan has frozen the accounts of 5,000 suspected terrorists, taking about $3 million out of their pockets, but Islamabad could still come under scrutiny at a crucial June meeting of an international watchdog that tracks terror financing. Pakistan generally and Deep State specifically is the problem . So no amount of cursory measures is ( "taking about $ 3 million out of their pockets"... ) is going to help !
Analysts and government officials say political foot-dragging and sympathetic supporters throughout Pakistan makes it difficult to cut off the money supply to banned terrorist groups.Next month in Spain, the Financial Action Task Force will update its assessment of “high-risk and non-cooperative jurisdictions,” Alexandra Wijmenga-Daniel of the task force's communications department said in an email. She did not offer any specifics.[ ( There is no need to show your strategy in advance . Keep them guessing ! /quote]
In 2015, Pakistan was exempted from its scrutiny after a similar session applauded the country's progress in tackling both money laundering and terrorist financing. ( A "little help" from Chini blothers? ) .However, concerns have been raised regarding the resurrection of banned groups such as Lashkar-i-Taiba under new names. Also worrying is the operation of groups such as Jaish-i-Mohammed, which is openly running seminaries and fundraising. ( With a "little help" from the Deep State and other actors !)
“The government has to find a way to completely ban individuals and groups [suspected of terrorist activity] from operating. This is the only way,” said Muhammad Amir Rana, director of the Islamabad-based Pakistan Institute of Peace Studies (PIPS).Still, the National Counter Terrorism Authority (Nacta) has begun the painstaking work of devising anti-terror financing policies, freezing bank accounts of known terrorist groups and identifying those that have resurfaced with different names, according to its director, Ishan Ghani.Nacta was established in 2013 through an act of Parliament. Four years later, Ghani says it is “still in its formative stage”. When he took over Nacta 18 months ago, it had a staff of only 25, including drivers, despite a government promise to bring in about 800 people with the job of curbing money laundering and terrorism financing.
The GOP is part of the problem and not the solution ! Window dressing and "empty budgetary promises" are just that - "promises" !
Ghani recounted an incident last year during Ramazan, when fundraising often goes into high gear.He received reports that outlawed groups with terror links were openly raising cash. He put all four provinces on notice, warning them to stop the fundraising. This year, Nacta is circulating a list of acceptable charities to which the faithful can donate. These organisations, Ghani said, were “not affiliated with terrorism”.Hasan Akbar, executive director of the Islamabad-based Jinnah Institute, said Pakistan has made some progress tackling money laundering, “shutting down businesses that had a sweep not just in Pakistan but in Dubai and the United States.”There even has been progress against those groups that resurface under a new name.“Organisations have been banned, but also in the last year funds have been seized of even those groups emerging as replacements for the banned groups,” Akbar said.
Still, individual donations and support from small businesses provide a steady income to banned outfits that is difficult to track, he said. The "brainwashed and the unwashed Aam Abduls", in their moment of piety are deluded to think that they are helping their "brethren" little knowing that they end up in financing terrorism !
Rana of PIPS said banned organisations also collect money in mosques outside the country, then return home with the funds. Saudi Arabia ( culprit # 1 !) is particularly lucrative, and the fundraising by outlawed sectarian groups is done openly, he said.
Ghani said that among the policies he is crafting is one to regulate cash transfers, a widely used practice in Pakistan. The policy will require anyone transferring Rs1 million or more to identify the origins of the money. “Today, you could carry Rs50m around in your car and no one would say anything, but we are coming up with a policy and laws that will require an explanation and the disclosure of the money trail,” Ghani said. ( Good luck with your good work !)
