Pakistan would’ve been in a different position had the govt granted consular access to Jadhav

nternational Court of Justice is commonly referred to as the world court. A unanimous decision was given in favour of India in the form of indication of provisional measures as a conclusion of public hearing on May 15, 2017 in Kulbhushan Jadhav case. Unfortunately, Pakistan's representative Mr Khawar Qureshi could not succeed in influencing a single judge, the panel consisted of 12 judges, of his submissions to the court, in other words to turn a single judge in his favour. Not bad for a fee of half a million pounds ! He has since been able to "hang on" to his "job" because of his Paki connection, no doubt , but is no longer the lead counsel .

The Hague, 15 May 2017. In conclusion of the public hearing between the parties, ICJ within their power issued anindication of provisional measures, a unanimous decision, as requested by India to preserve its rights. The indication is that the Islamic Republic of Pakistan must “take all measures at its disposal” to ensure that Mr Kulbhushan Sudhir Jadhav, of Indian nationality, is not executed pending a final judgment of the Court in the Jadhav Case (India v Pakistan). It was forwarded to both the parties and to the UN Security Council.

t is to bring in the attention that ICJ judgment is final and cannot be appealed. Furthermore, the binding force of the judgment is only limited to be between the parties and in respect of that particular case.In the end my question is why and who /which authority denied consular access to Mr Jadhav? Had the same sentence been passed while Mr Jadhav been allowed consular access, Pakistan would not have been in the position it is today. Hindu girl ‘kidnapped’ by influential villagers in Thar

THARPARKAR – A young Hindu girl was allegedly kidnapped from a village in Nagarparkar area of Tharparkar district in the early hours of Tuesday, Dawn News reported.The parents and relatives of the girl while talking to local journalists alleged that the kidnappers took away 16-year-old Ravita Meghwar after giving sleeping pills to her 15 family members in Varayno village near Nagarparkar.

Haqu, the girl’s mother and father Satram Das while talking to local journalists in the hospital alleged that their daughter was kidnapped by influential members from the Syed community and expressed the fear that Ravita might be forcibly married to Syed Nawaz Ali Shah, who according to them, used to tease her. This appears to be the pattern. Influential Muslim has an "eye" for a Hindu girl, abduct her and marry her against her will !

Joint police teams from Tharparkar and Umerkot districts raided various villages to trace the girl, but to no avail. Whether police are faithfully doing their job is another question altogether !

PS: Due to the ( Islamic ) nature of the Pakistani State, the future of Hindu and other minorities , appears grim in spite of proclamations and laws "protecting minorities" . Just recently, a 1000 year old temple in Karachi was converted into a public toilet , as reported by Paki media !

FIA Punjab’s cyber crime wing in Lahore has arrested a man who allegedly impersonated the Chairman of NAB. The individual in question used the email credentials to blackmail government officials.The accused, Basharat Aziz, was arrested in a raid from Fatah Sher Colony, Sahiwal.

This is not the first time that a fake official has duped government officials and the public without being noticed. Previously, we reported about a fake minister who managed to scam the government for six years! In fact, several fake judges, lawyers and other government officials have also been reported over the past few months.

There were rumours that a fake PM was also sighted in the Isloo area !

According to an FIA investigation officer, Ashir Aroon, the culprit Basharat Aziz hacked the official email address of the NAB Chairman and used it to email and blackmail officials from different government departments. FIA took action against the individual after receiving a complaint from NAB Islamabad.

The investigation agency received a tip which led to his eventual arrest, added the FIA investigation officer.

The whole episode has exposed weaknesses in online security for government departments. If corrective measures are not taken soon, who knows what massive national security leaks can potentially occur in the future. Not to mention, official email addresses could be used for far graver crimes than just pure blackmail. Disagree! This kind of news is quite common for Pakis. You have a minister who likes to use social media to broadcast "fake news" once in a while . And then you have a PM ( in name only ) who many believe, behaves like a "fake PM". A Pentagon report released on Tuesday singled out Pakistan as a possible location for a future Chinese military base, as it forecast that Beijing would likely build more bases overseas after establishing a facility in the African nation of Djibouti.The prediction came in a 97-page annual report to Congress that saw advances throughout the Chinese military in 2016, funded by robust defence spending that the Pentagon estimated exceeded $180 billion. That is higher than China's official defence budget figure of $140.4 billion. The report probably makes it "official", what many suspected a long time ago. It also confirms Pakistan's status as a "whore nation". In the fifties, it joined CENTO and SEATO, hoping that it could "help them" get Kashmir ; in the new century , it is "trying" China as a new client

The report repeatedly cited China's construction of its first overseas naval base in Djibouti, which is already home to a key US military base and is strategically located at the southern entrance to the Red Sea on the route to the Suez Canal.

“China most likely will seek to establish additional military bases in countries with which it has a longstanding friendly relationship and similar strategic interests, such as Pakistan,” the report said. ( The Gwadar Port will no doubt be doubling as a Chinese Naval Base !)

The report did not address India's potential reaction to a Chinese base in Pakistan. But Pakistan, the US report noted, was already the primary market in the Asian-Pacific region for Chinese arms exports. That region accounted for $9bn of the more than $20bn in Chinese arms exports from 2011 to 2015.Last year, China signed an agreement with Pakistan for the sale of eight submarines. China will definitely "extract" the surplus generated by the so-called CPEC . And this will be one way for Pakistan paying off the massive debt it is accumulating every day .

“China uses its cyber capabilities to support intelligence collection against US diplomatic, economic, and defence industrial base sectors.” Pakistan is going to join the Chinese Satellite and Internet System once the fibre optic network from Khunjarub to Karachi is complete. Control of Social Media, currently a problem for Paki Authorities will be full and complete ! How the Paki media and the Paki Awaam will react to the "new restrictions in the name of national security after tasting the present day "freedom" for a long time , is anybody's guess.
In a section discussing Chinese Navy, the report predicted that China's first domestically designed and produced aircraft carrier would likely reach initial operating capability in 2020.

Chinese shy away from buying industrial land in Karachi - DAWN

Chinese investors have not shown any interest so far in acquiring land in old industrial areas of Karachi including the Sindh Industrial and Trading Estate (Site).

Though Chinese are investing in the auto sector, they do not appear particularly keen on setting up manufacturing plants in other sectors.

Market watchers consider the cost of industrial plots as one of the factors discouraging Chinese investment in the port city’s industrial base.

Chinese are active in the auto sector – especially dealing in light commercial vehicles, cars and vans.

Some five Chinese auto companies in collaboration with local partners have applied for greenfield investment in setting up plants in Pakistan (three in Lahore and two in Karachi).

Chairman Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts and Accessories Association (Paapam), Mashood Ali Khan said his members are entering into joint venture deals with Chinese. “What we find alarming is that Chinese are entering the area of bike parts’ manufacturing without involving Pakistani partners,” he said.

He added that he has informed the government of this development.

“We will be happy if Chinese make us partners with 10-20 per cent stake as it will generate jobs in the country,” he said.

Chairman Site Association of Industry Asad Nisar Barkhurdaria said Chinese investors are procuring cheap land that is not available in Site area where prices hovers between Rs150 million to 200 million per acre.

“The Chinese are more interested in trading in various goods like tyres, consumer goods and plastic items instead of setting up factories,” he said. He went on to add the Chinese investors are looking towards the Port Qasim Industrial Area where land price is comparatively lower than Site and Korangi Industrial Area.

Mr Asad said in Site area, some Chinese investors have been present for the past several decades with diversified businesses.

Chinese supervisory staffs and petty contractors are more visible in KII and KIII projects, he added.

Chairman Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) Masood Naqi reconfirmed that Chinese have kept out of Korangi industrial area where rate ranges between Rs200m to Rs300m per acre.

“The Chinese are taking interest in the installation of waste treatment plant, RO plants, sewerage system, water desalination and some other mechanical and engineering works,” he said.

Meanwhile, Chairman Pakistan Apparel Forum (PAF) Jawed Bilwani said, “No Chinese companies have approached our forum for any trade and business deal.”

“I do not see any future scope in joint venture between China and Pakistan in the apparel sector when Chinese garments are cheaper,” he added.

Chairman F B Area Association of Trade and Industry (FBATI) Jawed Suleman said, “So far not a single Chinese company has shown interest in our area despite two meetings with Chinese Consul General.”

Chairman North Karachi Association of Trade and Industry (NKATI) Akhtar Ismail also shared similar views when reached for comment.

Pakistan will reportedly be recommending three names to International Court of Justice (ICJ) on Wednesday for appointment as ad-hoc judges to hear case filed by India over convicted spy who is on a death row in Pakistan, Kulbhushan Jadhav.A delegation led by Attorney General of Pakistan Ashtar Ausaf will be presenting the names to the court.Former chief justices of Pakistan (CJP) Nasirul Mulk and Tassaduq Husin Jeelani and former attorney general Makhdoom Ali have been recommended to be the ad-hoc appointees at the UN court. Blatant attempt to "influence" the final outcome ?

Representatives of Pakistan will convene a meeting with president of the ICJ on June 8. Members who are to meet the ICJ chief include the attorney general and Director General (DG) of South Asia Affairs Dr Faisal among others.

“Court considers it a failure on the part of Pakistan to present counselors to Jhadav,” said President Ronny Abraham who announced the verdict. “A link exists between the rights invoked by India and the provisional measures being sought by the state,” he continued.

Pakistan would not be deterred in fight against terrorism and those sponsoring terror could not shake its resolve, the counsel added. Qureshi said that India owns Jadhav as its national and that there should be no interference on Pakistani soil. Khawar ,( My laard ) Qureshi ( the wig - headed one !) who has since been "demoted" from his "first place" in the Paki Delegation, is doing double time and working doubly hard to justify his monstrous fee of half a million pound for a day's work. Is it going to be pro-bono this time

Pak Army drone crashes in Bahawalnagar

Pakistan Army’s drone crashed in Bahawalnagar today due to technical glitches but no life loss has been traced yet.According to sources, the drone fell in the fields of Muhammadpur area of Bahawalnagar when drone was on monitoring.Large number of people reached the area to participate in the rescue activity.A team of Pakistan Army arrived at the scene and removed the debris. Moreover, investigation into the matter has been launched.

This Parody is from Pakistan and two main characters are Anwar Maqsood, a satirist and TV anchor while the one playing the Bangla cricketer is legendary comedian, Late Moin Akhtar. This was a ongoing TV series but is old one.

Both have appeared in many other shows like this.
BTW Being Racist and misogynist is part of being a Paki and is par for course.

Nearly six months after he went missing, police have found no clues to the whereabouts of a Karachi native who went missing from the capital in January this year.Samar Abbas, a resident of the Gulshan-e-Iqbal area in Karachi, was visiting the capital when he disappeared on January 7.
Ramna police had subsequently also registered a case of kidnapping over Abbas’s disappearance on January 15, but officials have remained tight-lipped over the matter since.

Ashar had also approached the Islamabad High Court for the recovery of his missing sibling. In the petition filed in the high court in February, he had listed the Islamabad Police, as well as chiefs of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), Intelligence Bureau (IB), the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and secretary of the Interior Ministry as respondents. PAKISTAN: Journalist Receives Death Threats For Writing About Religious Minorities

Pakistani journalist Rana Tanveer has received death threats at his home in Lahore for writing about religious minorities in the country.
According to Mr. Tanveer, he moved to his current home just under one and a half years ago so that his daughter could attend a local school. Three months ago, his landlord began receiving calls from an unknown number advising him to evict Mr. Tanveer and his family, saying that he is a “kafir” and an “enemy of Islam.” Recently, Mr. Tanveer came home and found his home vandalized.

The threat reads, “Qadiani nawaz Rana Tanveer kafir wajib ul qatl,” which means, “Qadiani supporter Rana Tanveer is an unbeliever who deserves to be killed.” “Qadiani” is a derogatory term for Ahmadi Muslims.
Ahmadi Muslims face constant persecution in Pakistan with the backing of the state. Sectarian extremists have murdered hundreds of Ahmadis in recent years, including carrying out coordinated attacks on Ahmadi mosques. Based on the threats received, Rana Tanveer appears to be the latest target of these sectarian militants due to his reporting on issues related to Pakistan’s Ahmadis.

Mr. Tanveer has reported these threats to the police, but they have shown little interest and after a week, no “FIR” (First Information Report) – the initial documentation of a criminal act – has been filed. Unfortunately, police in Lahore have a history of supporting anti-Ahmadi sectarianism, making Tanveer’s situation all the more precarious.

Pakistan is already one of the most dangerous countries in the world for journalists, and Mr. Tanveer’s case is exacerbated by the addition of religious extremism. Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, said that the rights of religious minorities would be secured under his administration. Mr. Tanveer’s case is a perfect opportunity for the Pakistani government to demonstrate its commitment to safeguarding the rights of both journalists and religious minorities by taking immediate action to secure Rana Tanveer and bring those threatening him to justice. The Islam Brigade and their Deep State supporters could well be behind the mischief !

No proof of India’s role in colonel’s abduction, Senate told

ISLAMABAD - The government on Wednesday informed the Senate that it had no conclusive proof of India’s involvement in kidnapping of Col (r) Habib from Nepal, so the case could not be taken to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on mere ‘assumptions’. One "defeat" at ICJ is enough!

Frontier Regions Minister Lt-Gen (r) Abdul Qadir Baloch, concluding a debate on an adjournment motion on the kidnapping of Col (r) Habib said Pakistan had so far found no proof that India or any of its intelligence agencies had kidnapped the retired officer of Pakistan army. The government was in the process of finding conclusions in the case, he said.The Senate chairman directed Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz to brief the house today (Thursday) regarding media reports about the kidnapping incident, Qatar crisis and recent happenings in Afghanistan. Earlier, taking part in the debate on kidnapping of Col (r) Habib), MQM Senator Ateeq Sheikh, the mover of the motion, said the government would have to see whether the kidnapping case was not meant to pressurise Pakistan to hand over Jadhav to India. PPP Senator Rehman Malik said Pakistan should take this case to ICJ. Sehar Kamran said the retired Pak Army officer was trapped by offering a job and the army should see whether it should maintain track record of its retired officers. So, apart from offering some "wild speculation" about the missing ex army officer being kidnapped by RAA, the Pakis do not have a clue as to how he simply disappeared

Kuwait’s Emir, Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah held talks with the Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz on ways to defuse an escalating crisis between Arab countries and Qatar.
