Boss we both speculated the same on the day Trump announced his bogus "new policy". It was only to get a deal with TSP. Hands off India-specific TSP pigLeTs and we play ball was the gubo message from TSP to USA. And Trump said deal.

True but he did say is making Pakis are fume. They are feeling being "humiliated" .. and some of that is even spilling out into MSM...

Note he did say something like “it is time to expose and hold responsible nations that provide funding and safe havens to terror groups, ( he warned Pakistan for supporting “agents of chaos.” before with almost the same words so the reference was clear at least to Paki H&D)
Trump also said something like " responsible nations must work together to confront terrorists and the Islamic extremist that inspires them.”.. (Words taken from from Modi/Sushmaji etc.. to irk them further)

On top of that, while Ivanka Trump was tweeting about her meeting with SS.. (See "I have long respected India's accomplished and charismatic Foreign Minister @SushmaSwaraj, and it was an honor to meet her today. #UNGA" ).
DT refused to meet with Pak PM
- (This did not go well with Pakis.. they were furious, called DT's response ("I am too busy") "degrading") --
(According to Dawn:
Pakistan Senate Chairman Raza Rabbani has said that there is no point in Abbasi meeting Pence if Trump has no time to meet the Pakistan PM. He also asserted that the “US approach towards Pakistan is ‘degrading'”
)

To rub it in he had a warm meeting with BD PM while Pakis were feeling bad..
From what I heard Pakis asked Sauidi's help but Saudis are not helping much to help Paki's case to DT.. they approached China's diplomates but looks like they did not get much success...

Anyway let us see if there is some more substantial action in coming weeks/months .. like travel ban of ISI goons :).. canceling (or severely limiting) their military cooperation (like bringing Paki officers to US for war college etc)..

^^The typical Paki response to this kind of "slight" from the Americans is to try a major terrorist attack against India, "proving" that they still are still a relevant influence on regional security despite Amrika bahadur giving them the cold shoulder.

CF: The rebuff to Nawaz Sharif on July 4, 1999 by Bill Clinton (whom he approached to beg for US intervention in Kargil) was followed by IC814 hijacking and Chittisinghpora massacre.

At present, the groundwork is being laid for this with the Rohingya nonsense, and the open call of LeT's Hafiz Saeed and Zakir Musa to stage attacks in retaliation for Indian attempts to deport the Rohingyas. The usual suspects will open up across the propaganda channels after the attack, pleading for "sanity" and "talks at all costs" to avoid aggravating a "nuclear flashpoint", and also of course blaming Modi's "Hindu Fundamentalist bigotry against Rohingya" as the "root cause".

If the terrorist atrocity is so grievous that it provokes a general backlash against Rohingyas, the usual suspects will get a "2002 redux" narrative to add to their arsenal as well.

Hope our internal security agencies are hypervigilant.

***

Another possibility is a coup. The US rebuff to Nawaz (a political leader) was soon followed by his overthrow and the ascendancy of Gen. Musharraf as "CEO" of Pakistan. Today the Paki PM Abbasi is getting an even more belittling treatment from Trump.

Add to this the fact that the main disincentive from the Americans against a TSPA coup was the contingent cessation of aid, mandated by the Kerry Lugar bill. Given that the Trump admin has been cutting off a substantial portion of US aid to Pakistan in any case, and making noises about cutting off aid entirely, the TSPA might well decide that placating the Americans by withholding a coup is a path of diminishing returns.

Footprints: fear and loathing or 'We don’t want you around here': Fear and loathing for Christians in Punjab schools
This wasn’t a case of regular bullying. This was religiously motivated. Being the only Christian students in the school, the boys say they felt isolated.
Discrimination has been there in schools for decades, it seems.
they insisted on calling me ‘choorhi’
Actually, the students mirror what their parents think
Often, even at my workplace, the Muslim religious groups come and ask me to convert
a Christian schoolteacher complained to the head of their community that the manager of her school — an elite one at that — asked her to change her Christian name to a Muslim name so she could ‘fit in better’
Wilson says that his father was in the armed forces, but that did not stop him from being called a ‘choorha’.
“Many people believe it isn’t even derogatory. Others think that we are dirty people.”
According to Cecil Chaudhry Jr, executive-director of the National Commission for Peace and Justice (NJCP), one major reason that discrimination may begin from schools is because of the hate material in the textbooks.
“Even 30 years ago, when I was in school, this mindset was there in many people,” he says.
Chaudhry says that the history books are the worst, because they seem to depict all atrocities having been committed by non-Muslims, both Hindu and Christian.
“Before, we used to tell our kids to stay silent and keep a low profile, even change their names a bit,” says Kiran, a parent. “Now, we have no idea how to protect them anymore.”
Wasn't (isn't) Cecil Chaudhry considered one of paki heroes? They often trot out his name to show the Chirstians overall have served the malsic nation. Must be their Hindu/pagan genes and culture that force the pious pakjabis to act this way.

Question is why was he coy to mention LeT? Because of the following reasons:

1. Taliban and AQ are real 'bad terrorists' in US lexicon while LeT, well maybe 'bad', but if TSP can crack down on 'bad terrorists', US will be willing to consider LeT as 'good terrorists'

2. I would wager to bet that between Taliban and LeT, TSP will be will be willing to sell Taliban down the Khyber pass for the right price. But LeT is crucial to realize TSP's wet dreams visa vi India. And US knows this.

Imran Khan is a drug addict: Gulalai
ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has adjourned hearing of the disqualification reference against Member National Assembly Ayesha Gulalai till 26th of this month. At today's hearing, the Commission sought documents from PTI counsel in support of the party's reference against the MNA. Later while speaking to the media Ayesha Gulalai said, PTI Chairman Imran Khan and others in the party have used money of KP government in the elections campaign for NA-120. While speaking to media Gulalai said, “I am sad for PTI candidate Yasmin Rashid as she had to face defeat because of Imran Khan.”She claimed that Imran Khan had support of ‘land mafia’ in Lahore, yet it was unable to win the election.Gulalai also said that Imran Khan was a drug addict and a liar. She is "inviting" some sort of legal action by her "loose tongue", unless she can substantiate these allegations !He is afraid to come in front of the special parliamentary committee that was formed.”

Pakistan's "Inexperienced" PM Lands In NY . Likely Will Face "Tough Job "

Prime Minister lands in ‘hostile territory’ for the 72nd session of UNGA
World leaders have gathered in New York for the 72nd United Nations General Assembly session; the theme of the session revolves around, “Focusing on people: Striving for Peace and a Decenet life for all on a Sustainable Planet”. During a week’s long session; Donald Trump will address the UN for the first time and Mr. Shahid Abbasi, too, will debut into high level International diplomacy. Is he "upto the job", or just warming up the seat for Ganja's heir apparent
Prime Minister has landed in New York and will lead the country’s delegation in UNGA. He is all set to address the UN on 21st Sep – this speech, interestingly, will coincide with the address of President Trump to UN.
So, he will be speaking to an "empty audience"
The Premier – during his short four day stay in U.S – will be interacting with U.S’s Vice President Mike Pence and also, will take part in UN events. In addition to his activities – at UNGA and those related to forums on 193-member body side lines – he is scheduled to meet UN Secretary General Gueterres, as well as, leaders of the various Nations at UN.Mr. Abbasi will also be speaking to the representatives of the Council on Foreign Relations and U.S Pakistan Business Council.
The time line of this session is very critical for Pakistan. A string of closely-related International developments and intense changes in national politics have taken place, just before this session. These changes – both on National and International level – have made headlines and riveted the attention of global media, all for wrong reasons. This merited a debate about revisiting policies internally, however, to keep a strict stance regionally and internationally. Pakiland , punching above its weight ?
The pithy and admonishing tone of Trump for Pakistan while introducing his new Afghan policy, the declaration of Pakistan-Basedgroup as a threat to regional security in BRICS declaration and India’s agenda to seek a permanent seat in UN’s Security Council, will effect Pakistan’s standpoint in UNGA. Most of his time, will be spend "defending Pakistan's "good name"
However, a look at Premier’s engagement doesn’t quite go along with the idea of having strong point of view on any of the issues and schedule shows that it’s pretty generic and not specific at all – which is need of the hour.
However, a look at Premier’s engagement doesn’t quite go along with the idea of having strong point of view on any of the issues and schedule shows that it’s pretty generic and not specific at all – which is need of the hour.
After the meeting, Mrs. Sawaraj demanded for the investigations into North-Koreas nuclear proliferation linkages with Pakistan. Thus, creating more troubles for – already troubled – Pakistan.
However, it’s interesting that, Sushma Swaraj totally forget the case of CSSTEAP. The CSSTEAP (Center for Space Science and Technology Education in Asia and the Pacific) was built by United Nations in 1995 and is situated in a small town of Dehardhun, India.
Since then, North Korea has sent at least 30 students to the center for training, some of them were affiliated with nuclear program of country too. India kept on accepting students from N-Korea even after UN implemented nuclear sanction in 2006. According to which, no member country would provide any technical assistant to DRNK (Democratic Republic of North korea). This lapse was exposed in an annual report to UN Security Council in 2016, thus raising suspicion on the role of India in assisting North Korea for the development of nuclear Program. The Pakis are "trying" to create linkages where there are known in order to deflect attention from their own shenanigans with reference to "giving away nuclear technology" to North Korea in exchange for obtaining missile know-how from them !
The inexperienced newly-sworn in Prime Minister, the accusations on Pakistan, regarding the spread of terrorism and hyper active neighboring country, will make Pakistan’s time at UNGA tough. But Pakistan, too, have enough ammunition up its sleeves to counter the attacks.

Pakis Express Opposition To Canadian Richard Morin Nominated As Managing Director Of PSX

MD PSX Nominee Backed by Chinese Faces Massive Local Opposition
MD PSX Nominee Backed by Chinese Faces Massive Local Opposition

The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has nominated Richard Morin, a Canadian citizen, as its next Managing Director. He was also endorsed by the Chinese investors as well. However, the decision to nominate him as the PSX Managing Director has been opposed by some local members and brokers.According to PSX, the decision to usher in Mr. Richard as the Managing Director has not been officially announced but some officials confirmed that the decision has been finalized by the Board of Directors in principle. I believe that PSX is controlled by Chini interests. Maybe, they do not trust a Paki to head the MD position
The brokers and members explained the purpose behind their opposition by arguing that the hired MD is a Canadian National and he will be given a large amount of salary along with other special perks, including residential allowance and international traveling expenditures.According to Market Talk, the salary of the hired MD has been fixed at Rs 3 million. There should be no opposition if he can do the job and clean up the "cronyism" that pervades the operations there !
Moreover, the opposition members also suggested that as he is an outsider, he will not be managing things according to “our national culture and particularly, the stock market culture”. This may prove to be a drawback in his management style, local members fear.
“The stock market mostly operates on personal reputation and relationship and he (Morin) lacks that on both fronts”, a broker said. On the other hand, his appointment should be welcomed by the "small" and "retail" investors . !
On the other hand, a PSX official told that they have not received any formal opposition from the members.
“Only the shareholders of the company (PSX) have the right to accept and reject his appointment and approve and disapprove his monthly package. They may do this at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting likely to be held at the end of this month or at the beginning of the next month”, an official said.He further added that Morin is a well experienced official. He has previously served in the Canadian stock markets and the Stock Exchange of Mauritius.

It Is Official NOW ! Qatar Will Allow Visa On Arrival For Pakis !

Official: Qatar Just Announced Free Visa on Arrival for Pakistanis
After some confusion, The State of Qatar today officially announced that they are allowing all Pakistanis — with valid passports — to obtain free Tourist Visa on arrival. All you need to have is:
Valid passport with six months validity
Confirmed return ticket
5000 riyals or equivalent currency (PKR 144,000) or a valid credit card
If you have above mentioned things in hand, then simply fly to Qatar for a free tourist visa on arrival. Qatar Embassy in Pakistan said that free tourist visa will be valid for 30 days and can be extended for a similar duration after confirming the return ticket. In keeping with "Arab work culture" , the Qataris sure took their time to decide whether to allow Pakis to Qatar and give free visa on arrival !

PS : Not sure if there is anything to "see" in Qatar apart from the "usual" shopping mall culture, and of course the " virgin desert sand" !!!

Yes and it is a very important point !

The famous quote (IIRC attributed to Pakistan's own Hoodbhoy) goes something like:
"A Centrifuge weighs about half a ton, it can not be smuggled in a match book [carried by AQ Khan without Paki Army's approval]"
(I use similar technical data to educate some of those who are fooled by Paki propaganda that it was just rouge AQK and not the army etc)

****
(BTW My estimate is NK has about 200 to 450 kilograms of highly enriched uranium (in addition to about 20-30 kg of Pu) due to centrifuges.)

Pakistan army pushed political role for militant-linked groups
Reuters

LAHORE, Pakistan (Reuters) - A new Pakistani political party controlled by an Islamist with a $10 million U.S. bounty on his head is backing a candidate in a by-election on Sunday, in what a former senior army officer says is a key step in a military-proposed plan to mainstream militant groups.
The Milli Muslim League party loyal to Hafiz Saeed - who the United States and India accuse of masterminding the 2008 Mumbai attacks that killed 166 people - has little chance of seeing its favored candidate win the seat vacated when Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was removed from office by the Supreme Court in July.
But the foray into politics by Saeed’s Islamist charity is following a blueprint that Sharif himself rejected when the military proposed it last year, retired Lieutenant General Amjad Shuaib told Reuters.
Three close Sharif confidants with knowledge of the discussions confirmed that Sharif had opposed the “mainstreaming” plan, which senior military figures and some analysts see as a way of steering ultra-religious groups away from violent jihad.“We have to separate those elements who are peaceful from the elements who are picking up weapons,” Shuaib said. Pakistan’s powerful military has long been accused of fostering militant groups as proxy fighters opposing neighboring arch-enemy India, a charge the army denies.
Saeed’s religious charity launched the Milli Muslim League party within two weeks after the court ousted Sharif over corruption allegations.Yaqoob Sheikh, the Lahore candidate for Milli Muslim League, is standing as an independent after the Electoral Commission said the party was not yet legally registered. But Saeed’s lieutenants, JUD workers and Milli Muslim League officials are running his campaign and portraits of Saeed adorn every poster promoting Sheikh.
Another Islamist designated a terrorist by the United States, Fazlur Rehman Khalil, has told Reuters he too plans to soon form his own party to advocate strict Islamic law.“God willing, we will come into the mainstream - our country right now needs patriotic people,” Khalil said, vowing to turn Pakistan into a state government by strict Islamic law.Saeed’s charity and Khalil’s Ansar ul-Umma organization are both seen by the United States as fronts for militant groups the army has been accused of sponsoring. The military denies any policy of encouraging radical groups. But the timing of these developments come at an interesting time. The ousting of Ganja and the adoption of the "so-called tough policy" against the US !
Both Islamist groups deny their political ambitions were engineered by the military. The official army spokesman was not available for comment after queries were sent to the press wing.
The military’s Inter-Services Intelligence agency first began pushing the political mainstreaming plan in April 2016, according to retired general Shuaib, a former director of the army’s military intelligence wing that is separate from the ISI. He said the proposal was shared with him in writing by the then-ISI chief, adding that he himself had spoken with Khalil as well as Saeed in an unofficial capacity about the plan.
“Fazlur Rehman Khalil was very positive. Hafiz Saeed was very positive,” Shuaib said. “My conversation with them was just to confirm those things which I had been told by the ISI and other people.”
In recent weeks several senior figures from the ruling PML-N party have publicly implied that elements of the military - which has run Pakistan for almost half its modern history and previously ousted Sharif in a 1999 coup - had a hand in the court ouster of Sharif, a charge both the army and the court reject.
A representative of the PML-N, which last month replaced him as prime minister with close ally Shahid Khaqi Abbasi, said the party was “not aware” of any mainstreaming plan being brought to the table.
Analyst Ahmed warned that few existing religious parties have a charismatic leader like Saeed, and Pakistan may find itself unable to control a rising tide of Islamist sentiment. “If Hafiz Saeed comes into the mainstream, it’s not that he is going to be politicized,” he added. “It’s that he is going to make politics more religious.”
And the society more Islamic !

Legal Harassment Of Ganja Sharif And His Family Continues Unabated

Court rejects plea for Sharifs’ arrest warrants
Later, while talking to media persons, Senator Asif Kirmani said that he had informed the court that Nawaz Sharif along with his children was in London where his spouse Begum Kalsoom Nawaz was under treatment and had undergone a major surgery. Kirmani said that the court had accepted his request to defer the hearing and again issued the summons for Sharif family to appear on September 26. “I will convey the court orders to the Sharif family. I don’t know when they will return home,” Kirmani said, adding that doctors have suggested more surgeries to Begum Kalsoom and would not know how much time the family have to stay there.
Former premier Nawaz Sharif, who was disqualified by the apex court in Panama Papers case, along with his two sons is in London in connection with the treatment of her ailing spouse Begum Kalsoom Nawaz, while Maryam Nawaz also flew to London on Monday morning along with her husband Captain (retired) Mohammad Safdar and their daughter to inquire after the health of her mother.

Don't bet on it. They'll find a way to blame it on Modi, BJP, RSS, GoI and anything else but the Pakistanis.

They'll gush over him in a manner that will make their gushing over Musharraf, seem like cold shoulder in comparison.

Pakistanis don't dare do much without approval and shabashi from the bigger powers. Specially their fauj.
These are the guys who need permission for a bathroom break from Amreeka or Cheena.

This Half-is-suar Saeed, won't win any erections. He is currently in house arrest at his gareeb-khana in Lahore. He isn't fighting any erections in pakistan until bada sahibs give their permissions to the Pak Fauj. Currently Half-is-suar is eating pindi chanas because of Amreeka, and Cheena blothel has panned them at the recent BRICS meet.

And this was the best photo-op moment of the meeting!!
What do people think about this photo-op? ("Re-affirming commitment to boost trade with TSP")

Pakistan fined $1.6b as Turkish RPP firm wins arbitration case
The International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), an arm of the World Bank which offers arbitration and conciliation services for governments and private foreign investors' disputes, has given its decision in favour of Turkish firm Karkey Karadeniz Elektrik Uretim and imposed a fine of $1.6 billion on Pakistan, sources informed Geo News on Wednesday.
:((
Karkey had registered a claim with the ICSID against Pakistan in 2013 for violation of their contract of as many as $564.6 million for a period of five years, for building rental power plants in Karachi.
According to sources, in March 2017, Pakistan offered to give compensation of Rs700 million to Karkey through the Turkish government
Paki R. 700 Million is less than $7 Million. What were they smoking?

Paki vs. Indian success rate in arbitration cases.
Raheel Kamran Sheikh, an executive member of the Pakistan Bar Council, said it was a matter of concern that Pakistan’s success rate in international arbitration cases was 2 per cent, while India’s success rate was 60 per cent.
“We lost important cases at international forums in the last couple of years,” Sheikh said. However, an official differed, claiming that the success rate was ‘very good’ during the era of former military ruler Pervez Musharraf.

Parties can be led from Londonistan, says Mushahidullah Khan
It's their second home anyway.
Senior Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Mushahidullah Khan said on Wednesday that in the past political parties of Pakistan have been led from London.
with advanced technology now at hand it is not an issue anymore.
“It is not something new. We have seen jail, political exiles, we have experience of all these things and can face it again”
What's wrong with these people? Bakistan was founded in londonistan!

Trump will kiss and make up with the Pakis. I am sure, why you ask?

This is what Trump said about Iran at UNGA
The Iranian government masks a corrupt dictatorship behind the false guise of a democracy. It has turned a wealthy country, with a rich history and culture, into an economically depleted rogue state whose chief exports are violence, bloodshed, and chaos... Rather than use its resources to improve Iranian live, its oil profits go to fund Hezbollah and other terrorists that kill innocent Muslims and attack their peaceful Arab and Israeli neighbors.

...We cannot let a murderous regime continue these destabilizing activities while building dangerous missiles, and we cannot abide by an agreement if it provides cover for the eventual construction of a nuclear program. The Iran deal was one of the worst and most one-sided transactions the United States has ever entered into. Frankly, that deal is an embarrassment to the United States, and I don't think you've heard the last of it. Believe me.

It is time for the entire world to join us in demanding that Iran's government end its pursuit of death and destruction...

...The Iranian regime's support for terror is in stark contrast to the recent commitments of many of its neighbors to fight terrorism and halt its finance, and in Saudi Arabia no shit, Saudi Arabia is your role model? :rotfl: early last year, I was greatly honored to address the leaders of more than 50 Arab and Muslim nations. We agreed that all responsible nations must work together to confront terrorists and the Islamic extremism that inspires them.
So Trump will not work with the Iranians and they aren't going to pack up anytime soon. What other way to access Afghanistan? Pakistan is still key. Soon, some US general will have the ba!!s to show Trump a map of the region and explain to him the need to bury the hatched with the Pakis and Trump will have no choice but to do so.

Meanwhile for Paki lurkers ..
While everyone was ignoring Pakistan, and Pakistan was trying to "expose" India at every chance it got in meetings on sidelines of UNGA..

Yesterday India was mentioned in Israel's address to UNGA..
see this xpost:
>>>>
On Tuesday Netanyahu mentioned this during his address to the United Nations General Assembly. He called Modi's visit to Israel truly historic!. It is indeed rare that one hears that in a UNGA address!
Netanyahu wrote:...In July Modi became the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Israel You may have seen the pictures. We were on a beach in Podera. We rode together in a jeep outfitted with a portable desalinisation device that some thriving Israeli entrepreneur invented. We took off our shoes, waded into the Mediterranean, and drank seawater that had been purified only a few minutes earlier...
