Several killed as bus crashes into ravine in northern Pakistan
Al - Jazeera
Oct 29, 2018
Islamabad, Pakistan - At least 17 people have been killed after a bus plunged into a deep ravine in northern Pakistan's district of Kohistan, officials say, with at least eight passengers still missing after the accident. The accident took place late on Sunday night on a remote road winding through steep mountains near the boundary between Kohistan and the Gilgit-Baltistan region, about 200km north of the capital Islamabad, senior police official Raja Abdul Saboor told Al Jazeera by telephone.
Immy's NAYA PAKHANISTAN recently hosted an "International" Tourism "Conference" in Paris, France , touting the "greatness" of Paki Mountain Scenery( in probably the same area as this accident occured ) for the purpose of so -called Adventure Tourism . Expect more such accidents and then more international law -suits if these plans come to fruition

KP S.H.O. ( Station House Officer !) "Exercises His Authority" And Bans Musical Programmes And Transgender ( Hijra !) Dances

Peshawar SHO bans musical programmes, transgenders' dance

The Express Tribune
Oct 30, 2018
PESHAWAR: After the Faqirabad precinct last week asked people who are transgender to leave the remits of the station, the Mattani police have now imposed a ban on all musical programmes and people who are transgender within his jurisdiction, local residents said.
Electoral candidate, who had contested the recent elections, had held an event in the area to thank the 6,000 people who voted for him. Mattani Station House Officer Abdul Ali had also been invited to the event.“He [SHO Ali] was also asked to speak on the occasion to a gathering of hundreds inside a mansion and he ‘banned’ all kinds of drugs as well as musical programmes and transgenders too,” said a local resident who had attended the event.
Drugs are of course not halaal under Malsi. But as to the other matters ( suppressing the transgenders and banning dances ) , the transgender community should get together and petition humsathi - Human Rights - Minister Mazari for some relief on this issue
“This SHO took charge around a week ago and instead of improving the law and order situation in his area, he has suddenly banned the music and people who are transgenders,” claimed the local. The local, who requested not to be named for fear of retribution, added that it was not for the first time that this had happened.
Maybe, the SHO is not up to date on developments in this important sector of Third Sex . Matter should also be brought to the attention of CJP Nisar who has "vowed" to abolish any discrimination against "oppressed" section of Paki society
Meanwhile, transgender rights activist Qamar Naseem told The Express Tribune that on the one hand the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Qazi Jamil has ordered to set up two committees, headed by Operation SSP Javed Iqbal and Investigation SSP Nisar Khan respectively. But on the other, low ranking police officers are creating problems for people who are transgenders.
“The problem is not the high-ranking police officials, who are educated and mature people, but the local SHOs,” he lamented, adding that police should take action against those who were creating law and order situation in the district instead of ‘moral or religious policing’.When approached, CCPO Jamil refuted that a ban was in effect in the area, adding that those who impose such bans would be checked.
PS: Peshawar, the bacha -baazi capital of the world, is ironically the most dangerous city for transgenders !

CNN Comes To Know Manzoor Pashteen :D

Manzoor Pashteen: The Pashtun folk hero making life difficult for Pakistan's ruling class
CNN
Sofia Saifi and Euan McKirdy
May 11, 2018 ( Manzoor is in the news these days with his public meetings which are not given coverage due to censorship !)
Pakistan (CNN)Manzoor Ahmed Pashteen, a 24-year-old ethnic Pashtun, was just a child when the US-led war on terror began, and it wasn't long until it was on his doorstep. He said his family, who live in Pakistan's north-western region, close to the Afghan border, first heard the name "Taliban" in 2004. By the end of the year, with fighting intensifying, his family was forced out of their village, Sarwakai. The following year "the situation became such that whenever an elder spoke out against the war they would suddenly disappear."
Pashteen has accused the military of allying with the Pakistani Taliban -- an almost-sacrilegious accusation in a country where the military is counted among the strongest and most trustworthy of institutions.
"Ask them: Who they are harboring in their cantonment zones, if not the Taliban?" Pashteen tells CNN, referring to the security forces' military stations.
The military and intelligence services have responded to repeated requests from CNN for comment by saying they are "not available to comment."
The Pashtuns are up in arms these days all over the KP area !
His suspicions are not unique in the remote Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), where years of war and violence have left villages destroyed and lives ruined by militant violence and heavy-handed government interference, which often leads to what they see as indiscriminate killing and arrests.
But it wasn't until January 2018, following the death of Naqeebullah Mehsud, an aspiring model who security services killed as part of a raid on a group of militants aligned with Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) -- the Pakistani Taliban -- that the movement really began to gather momentum.
His killer is out on bail !
The movement has caused a regional stir, and has become a focal point in ongoing tensions between Pakistan and neighboring Afghanistan, which have endured worsening relations due to an increase in attacks in Kabul which Afghan officials have linked to Pakistan-based militants. Islamabad has refuted the claims. The most visible indication of support came from Afghan leader Ashraf Ghani, who tweeted in February: "I fully support the historical #PashtunLongMarch in Pakistan. The main purpose of which is to mobilize citizens against fundamentalism and terrorism in the region."
"I simply want to go back to my anonymous life, once our demands are met, do my PhD and become a professor," says Pashteen, who is a trained veterinary surgeon. There is a Pashto saying, Pashteen tells CNN, "that there is betterment in silence."But for now, he says he is determined to be anything but silent as he and his supporters fight to have their voices heard.

Country cannot recover from fiscal crisis without bailout: Asad Umar

Finance Minister Asad Umar on Tuesday clarified to the Lower House that the country cannot recover from the current fiscal crisis without securing a bailout. THIS IS NOT NEW! The whole World and its Brothers, Sisters, Ityaadi Ityaadi KNEW! Even the Terroristani Leadership knew - So what is new?

“We had said even before elections, we need a bailout,” he added.

Hard choices: Saudi Arabia or IMF

He informed lawmakers that Pakistan faces a deficit of $35 billion and the rupee’s value has depreciated, as a result, the country has sought foreign loans.

“The current account deficit was $25 billion when the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) left [in 2013]. In December 2017, Miftah Ismail was the finance minister. The rupee was depreciating and the government’s expenditures were increasing at a faster pace,” he said.

“We approached the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and our friends,” said Umar and added that the economy needs support as the budget deficit has increased by more than Rs900 billion.

“The recent agreement with Saudi Arabia was worth $9 billion over three years.”

Pakistan to seek IMF bailout despite $6b Saudi rescue

The finance minister also claimed that any IMF bailout would be the last for the country, adding that Pakistan would cooperate with China to take CPEC into the next phase and reduce the trade deficit. First : PROMISES. The TAQQIYA AND KITMEN

“We will give priority to the export industry and have reduced taxes.”

Not sending troops to Yemen

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi denied reports that any Israeli aircraft had landed in Pakistan and spent hours at the Islamabad airport. SMQ is a Typical Terroristani Leader. He can lie whether he has teeth or not!

He warned that such reports were aimed at harming the country.

Speaking on the behalf of the opposition, Shehbaz accepted the foreign minister’s explanation and said he takes the explanation by Qureshi at face value. Crooks of a Feather Flock Together!

During his speech, Qureshi also clarified the Saudi economic package for Pakistan did not carry any conditionality or strings and rejected the notion that Pakistan was sending troops to Yemen. SMQ is a Veritable and Habitual Liar!

Rupee weakens against dollar

KARACHI: The rupee weakened against the dollar at Rs132.55/Rs132.74 in the inter-bank market on Monday compared with Friday’s close of Rs132.3/Rs132.5, according to the State Bank of Pakistan. Last week, the rupee strengthened after Saudi Arabia agreed on a $6-billion assistance package for Pakistan. Earlier this month, a slump in the value of the rupee came after the government decided to knock at the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) door to avoid default on import payments and debt repayments. This was the fifth round of massive depreciation of the Pakistani currency since December 2017 to tame aggressive demand for dollars in a faltering economy. Cumulatively, the rupee has dropped 26.67% in the last 10 months.

Israeli rapprochement? – Editorial

OVER the past several days, there has been a flurry of reports concerning Israel and its contacts with Arab and Muslim states.

Last week, it was reported that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu flew into Oman for a secret meeting with Sultan Qaboos; news and pictures of the visit were only made public after Mr Netanyahu was back in Tel Aviv. Following the visit, a senior Omani minister told a conference in Manama that it was time to accept the Zionist state.

Along with these political developments, Israeli competitors and ministers have been in the UAE and Qatar of late as part of sports and cultural activities, with Israel’s flag flying at the venues, along with the playing of its national anthem.

Then, of course, there were reports of an Israeli business jet mysteriously flying into Pakistan; the reports have been vehemently denied by the government, but the rumours refuse to die down.

It would be naive to assume all these developments — especially the growing bonhomie between Tel Aviv and the Gulf Arabs — are mere coincidences.

It is highly likely that both parties are being given a ‘friendly’ nudge by the US to make peace officially (backchannel contacts are a barely kept secret), especially considering that both Israel and the Arabs are under American patronage. Peechay say Aana Baghiyan Mein, Rajah Peechay say Aana Baghiyan Mein!

In pictures: 'Bloodiest day in Israel-Palestine conflict' as US moves embassy to Jerusalem

This perception is given credence as senior US officials have welcomed the contacts. If peace — and justice for the Palestinians — are the goals, then there may be no harm in diplomatic initiatives.

However, if there is a sinister plan at work, such as isolating Iran, then there is cause for alarm. Both the US and the Gulf Arabs have no love lost for Tehran, and vice versa, hence the normalisation of Arab-Israeli ties could be linked to further squeezing Iran.

But while geopolitics may be governed by selfish interests rather than morals, it should be remembered that Israel continues to slaughter Palestinians at will. In fact, as Gulf Arabs were posing for pictures with Israeli officials, the Zionist state’s military was busy exterminating Palestinian children in Gaza.

Israel’s behaviour towards Palestinians, especially under the current Likud regime, has been appalling, hence the Arab autocrats will have a tough time explaining the sudden warming of relations with Tel Aviv.

As for Pakistan, considering that this push for rapprochement in the Gulf may be linked to isolating Iran, as well as the repeated violation of Palestinian human rights by Israel, the government needs to proceed very carefully.

CJP Nisar Now Wants To Pokes His Pakjabi Noise Into Population And Birth Control, An Issue Dear To The Mullahs Of Pakistan.

Population control highest priority after dams: CJP

The Express Tribune
Oct 30, 2018
ISLAMABAD :
The chief justice on Tuesday termed controlling the country’s burgeoning population as the ‘highest priority’ after the construction of water reservoirs to improve Pakistan’s water security.“After dams, population control is our biggest priority,” said Justice Nisar while presiding a hearing on population control.
What about the outstanding files and cases that need his urgent attention at the Supreme Court Offices of Isloo, Law-whore and Krachi
He added that Pakistan’s water needs have increased due to its ballooning population and observed that if the population was not controlled, the water crisis will aggravate.
Is he floating the trial balloon of population control by condom use / vasectomy ? Has he got the Ulemas and Mullahs on board on this un Islamic solution ? Is he not aware of the backlash that occurred in India when Sanjay Gandhi tried to do the same ?
Justice Nisar also stated that after a population control and family planning seminar will take place soon, and emphasised the need to spread awareness among the masses. The additional attorney general informed the court during the proceedings that nine recommendations have been prepared regarding the issue.
One such recommendation forwarded earlier was the formation of a federal and provincial task force ( Mullahs from The Islamic Ideology Council of Pakiland should also be included !) by December 31 and added that another recommendation concerned family planning.
Bangladesh and Iran have also controlled their population despite being Islamic countries, the top judge stated.
So, HE is aware of the backlash on this matter .
The court said that the government should get the recommendations approved by the Council of Common Interests (CCI) and call a meeting within 10 days. Justice Nisar also stated that all provincial chief ministers will be issued a notice at the next hearing. :((

Paki Principal Sentenced To 105 Years ! Used Masoom Kids As Raw Material For His Sexual Satisfaction !

Peshawar school principal gets 105 years in prison for child rape, abuse
Oct 30, 2018
PESHAWAR– A court in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa capital city has sentenced the principal of a private school to 105 years in prison on charges of child abuse, poonography, rape, blackmail and maintaining illicit relations.
Peshawar Sessions Judge Younis Khan handed down the sentence along with a fine of Rs1.4 million on Tuesday.
The convict, Attaullah Marwat, who is also the owner of the private school, was detained after the Hayatabad police station registered a case against him on July 14, 2017, on the complaint of a boy student, who had accused him of sexually exploiting schoolchildren, including girls, and filming them with secret cameras installed on campus. His sentence followed testimonies of as many as 25 of his direct and indirect victims.
A trial court had framed charges against him on eight counts under the Pakistan Penal Code, including Section 354-A (stripping a woman of her clothes), 376 (punishment for rape), 377-B (sexual abuse of child), 489-C (counterfeit currency), 497 (adultery) and 509 (sexual harassment), and Sections 48 (child poonography), 50 (seducing a child) and 53 (sexual abuse) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Child Protection and Welfare Act, 2010.He was found guilty of all charges and handed various jail sentences under each section — resulting in a total prison term of 105 years.
Capital punishment is still legal in Pakistan. Why was he not hanged and /or beheaded by a sword in a Peshawar public square after Jummah prayers , as is being done in Saudia
Marwat was also charged with forcing, coercing and persuading female students of his school to engage in sexual activities and capturing those acts on his mobile phones and secret cameras installed in different parts of the school and storing them in USBs.He was also charged with sexually assaulting multiple women after coercing them with death threats.
Something is terribly wrong in the Paki Justice System , when ( bearded) "principals" like him are "only" given 105 years in jail and NOT HANGED

And Now Pakjab Is Also Not Safe For Paki Children Either !

Punjab most dangerous province for children, reveals report
ARY News
Oct 30, 2018
ISLAMABAD: In the backdrop of the Zainab murder case, a report of a task force constituted by the Federal Ombudsman to diagnose the systematic issue of child abuse, has suggested certain measures to curb the menace. The report titled Mapping of Issues and Response to Sexual Violence Against Children recently submitted before the Steering committee on ‘Kasur Tragedy & Redressal of systematic issues’ has proposed 11-point remedial measures to prevent and control the rising cases of child abuse in different parts of the country, especially Kasur. The document highlighted the authorities’ failure in controlling such incidents and tracing culprits of mafia involved in child *****.
Thru the "wonders of globalization, internet and social media" poonography, child abuse and other "western diseases" have creeped into Islamic Pakistan
Unfortunately, the report revealed Punjab as the most dangerous province for children where nearly 1,089 cases of sexual violence out of the total 4,139 reported in the country were recorded.
Makes sense to me though. Pakjab is the most populated province, expect more such Unislamic happenings to occur there !
The Kasur-based study was conducted in six months involving extensive desk research of the prevailing system and legal framework, meetings with multi-stakeholders and five weeks long field work. The study recommended long and short term steps. These measures included setting up a ‘One stop Facilitation Centre’ in Kasur as a pilot project at the earliest in order to provide medical, psychiatric, psycho-social and legal support to the victims and their families.
The Mullahs of Pakistan need to be assured that "their Islamic interests" are protected and such western counter measures ( psychiatric, psycho-social and legal support ) do not in fact violate any Islami principals
Likewise, long term initiative proposed included enactment of new laws along with a few amendments in existing laws to ensure psycho-social, legal and medical support as well as prohibition of exonerating of accused with the consent of the aggrieved. The legal time-frame of such cases must be reduced to six months, it added.
Again the Mullahs of Pakistan need to be assured that "their Islamic interests" are protected and such western counter measures ( psychiatric, psycho-social and legal support ) do not in fact violate any Islami principals
The suggestions also included installation of more CCTV cameras in more prone cities and development of protocol with Facebook and Google authorities to control inflow and outflow of ***** material is also suggested. It also recommended educational institutes to sensitise and train children and teachers, boy scouts and girl guides to spread awareness and beat this menace.Police trainings are more critical to handle the victim, accused and media as per national and international laws, the report highlighted.
In Saudia , such despicable criminals are usually executed in a public square after Jummah prayers after Sharia "Justice" . The Mullahs may want to look into this matter further and maybe ( if funds are sanctioned !) sent a big delegation to Saudia to "study the matter" and do the obligatory "small hajj" at the same time as well

Hungarian Ambassador's Wife Learns A Hard Lesson: Never Leave Your Mobile Phone On Your Table At A Five Star Hotel In Islamabad When You Go To The Washroom !

Foreign diplomat's wife mobile phone stolen in Islamabad
Oct 30, 2018
*ISLAMABAD - A mobile phone of the top foreign diplomat family has been reportedly stolen from a hotel in Islamabad.*
*As per the media report, mobile phone of the wife of Hungarian ambassador was stolen at a hotel in Islamabad.*
According to reports, Emilia Slabo approached the Secretariat Police Station and lodged an FIR about her mobile phone being stolen during an event in Islamabad on October 26.
As per the complaint she lodged, the lady informed the police that she had kept her mobile phone on the table and went to use the toilet. According to her, when she returned to her seat the mobile phone was missing.According to reports, the police department is further trying to find the mobile through its IMEI number. The police officials said that the department was trying to detect and grab the culprit with the help of CCTV footage, however, reportedly there aren’t any CCTV cameras installed inside the halls of the hotel.
Five star hotel and no CCTV cameras  Such "hot phoren items" are probably in high demand in the chor bazaar of Isloo . IMHO, the search for the culprits should start with the meagerly paid hotel employees . The "Premiere Institution" should "grill" them hard , using third degree methods if necessary

CPEC : Another Confirmation From Paki Media That Yearly Agricultural Harvest Is Going To Be Shipped To Ilon Blother To Feed The Hungry Chinese

CPEC: Federal government has decided to expand base
Oct 30, 2018
ISLAMABAD - Planning Minister Khusro Bakhtiar says the base of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is being expanded with inclusion of agriculture sector under this framework. Talking to Punjab Chief Secretary Yousuf Naseem Khokhar in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said Punjab is the largest province in terms of agriculture productivity and Pakistan's economy will grow if the province witnesses agricultural growth. The Minister emphasized that Punjab Government should focus on less developed regions for equal progress and prosperity of all the areas of the province. During the meeting, Punjab's annual development programme came under discussion.
This is ONLEE agriculture produce ! Nothing about the fish, shrimp, eel, sea urchin, sea weeds, oysters, sea turtles plus other exotic sea life of the Arabian Sea , plus donkey meat ( for chow mein !) , plus wild boars ( for polk flied lice ) snakes and dogs ( not sure about these "creatures" though  ) . US slams removal of Pakistan ban on JuD, FIF - PTI

WASHINGTON: The US on Tuesday said the recent removal of the ban on Hafiz Saeed-led Jamaat-ud-Dawa and Falahi-Insaniyat Foundation runs counter to Pakistan's commitment to the FATF and would jeopardise the country's ability to meet its commitments to fight terrorism under the UN Security Council resolution.

Mumbai attack mastermind Saeed's JuD and FIF are no longer on the list of banned outfits in Pakistan as the ordinance that proscribed them under a UN resolution has lapsed and the new Imran Khan-led government did not extend it, a media report said last week.

"The expiration of the ban on JuD and FIF runs counter to Pakistan's commitment to work with the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) to address weaknesses in its counter-terrorism financing regime," a state department spokesperson said.

The spokesperson was responding to a question on the recent lapse of the ordinance that led to lifting of the ban on the two outfits.

"As we have said before, the United States is deeply concerned that this development will jeopardise Pakistan's ability to meet its commitments under UN Security Council Resolution 1267 to freeze and prevent the raising and moving of funds belonging to or associated with UN-designated terrorist groups," the spokesperson said.

The development underscores the importance of Pakistan "urgently enacting legislation that formally proscribes" both JuD and FIF, the spokesperson said.

India has been pushing Pakistan to bring to justice the planners of the 2008 Mumbai attacks. Saeed is the co-founder of the Lashkar-e-Taiba, which was responsible for the attacks in which 166 people were killed.

ISLAMABAD: Law and Justice Minister Barrister Dr Muhammad Farogh Naseem said on Tuesday that Pakistan direly needs the support and cooperation of European Union (EU) for economic stability and prosperity in the country.
Talking to a seven-member delegation of the European Parliament Committee, headed by Jean Lambert, Barrister Farogh Naseem said steps were being taken to ensure witness and judicial protection for effective dispensation of justice in Pakistan.
The EPC was probably "complaining" about lack of protection of minorities, expulsion of NGO's and other illegal measures which the Paki Govt is indulging in
On the issue of the death penalty, the law minister said that the death penalty was never abolished in Pakistan; however, there was a moratorium on executions of the death penalty. He said incidents like Army Public School massacre, Zainab case and similar cases of child abuse resulted in a huge public uproar, adding that the death penalty was awarded in “rare of the rarest cases”.
But, Saudi Arabia also an Islamic State does not hesitate to behead or hang criminals . Why cannot Pakistan emulate the example of the Islamic States like Saudia and Iran , instead of showing "deference" to non - Islami powers like the European Union
During the meeting, the issue of extending support to international NGOs was also raised by the delegation members to which the law minister responded, “The government will support all the genuine NGOs that are working in Pakistan but there are certain NGOs that are just wasting money of the west and are not helping in any cause.”
If an NGO criticizes the Paki Govt on the treatment it accords to its citizens (like the Pashtuns of FATA), then it becomes "wasting the money of the west" What BS !!!
Barrister Dr Naseem appraised the delegation about steps the new government was taking to overhaul the legal system in order to help the people of Pakistan. He said human rights were on the government’s agenda and support from the European Union in this regard was essential. He urged the European Union to help Pakistan eradicate the menace of corruption.
The EU does not dictate to the Banks located in Switzerland, Luxoumburg, London and Liechenstien , where the so called stolen money ( $ 200 Billion !) is stashed away What can the EU do to stop Aleema Khan from purchasing a property, from shady money sources, in Dubai
Lambert on the occasion thanked the law minister for his time and expressed her  gratitude for the hospitality extended by the Pakistani side. She informed the minister that the delegation comprised of representatives of three different political groups and was in charge of relations with six countries. She further informed that their job was to engage with governments as well as with the civil societies of these countries.

Loss-making PIA increases salaries by Rs915mn
Pakistan Today
Oct 28, 2018
LAHORE: The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will be spending Rs915 million in salary increases granted to pilots, hinted a notification issued by the Pakistan Airline Pilots Association (PALPA).“The aviation secretary was convinced that the increment of Rs915 million (per annum) was based upon restructuring 75 hours guaranteed with 10 days off in a month and not linked to any fixed percentage, therefore he assured PALPA Executive Committee that he would do the needful for the implementation of the same through the board of directors and Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Limited (PIACL),” read the notification.
Peregrine- ji : Your predictions on this decrepit airline are spot on
According to industry experts, PIA used to pay the pilots 50 guaranteed flying hours based on their average utilisation, which used to be around 43 to 45 hours per month. Now, they added, the PIA flight schedules and the effective aircraft fleet has shrunk while the number of pilots remains the same, bringing their average utilisation to 28 to 30 hours.
Rest of the time, can be spent on moonlighting activities like bar hopping in Birmingham, deals on smart phones in London, bringing "gifts of wine, cheese, chocolates for family, friends, and third parties for "consideration"
The increase to 75 guaranteed hours will cost the national carrier an additional Rs915 million per year.
Most of the pilots employed by PIA are ex Air Force, and they "carry" a fairly high sifarish ( sons, daughters, father, mother, uncle, aunts , brother, sisters of generals, ministers, MNAs , MPAs etc etc ) so corrective action will be difficult to say the least
“The airline is making losses and the Inflight Entertainment System (IFES) of the aircraft is redundant. Airlines usually change or upgrade the IFES system after every four to five years. With Rs915 million, PIA could have changed a large proportion of the obsolete and non-operational IFES. The priority of the airlines should be to improve the customer experience,” an independent aviation expert told this scribe.
Drinking at the public trough is more "preferable" than good "customer service" !
On the other hand, a document pertaining to the special audit from 2008 to 2017, revealed the exorbitant salaries paid to the PIA Investment Limited (PIAL) managing director and other employees.“It was observed that an amount of $5.869 million was paid by the management of PIAIL on account of remuneration to employees, post-employment benefit and bonus to directors…,” the documents read.
Drinking at the public trough is more preferable than accountability to the National Exchequer !
The document further revealed that Najeeb Samie, who was appointed as the PIAL managing director on April 3, 2006, retired in July 2016. However, he is still working on a two-year contract which on expiry was renewed for another two years and according to the document his appointment was done unjustifiably against government instructions.
Would not be surprised if Najeeb is the son, father, uncle, brother, cousin of a "famous" general or a relative of Imran , Asad or one of the other Ministers

Women's Empowerment To Be Blamed For This

Sheikhupura woman shoots husband dead, says she suffered years of abuse
Dawn
Oct 30, 2018
A woman shot her husband dead in Punjab's Sheikhupura district, allegedly in reaction to being routinely abused by him, police said on Tuesday.
Police have taken the woman into custody. She has 'confessed' to killing her husband, 70-year-old Asghar alias Kalu. A case has been registered. The deceased had married a total of eight times. Two of his wives had passed away, Station House Office Latif Gujjar of Housing Colony Police Station told DawnNewsTV. The man had been living with his six wives ( flaunting Sharia , which allows "onlee four" ) and 17 children in a single house in Alif Town.
What is the age of the wife who killed him ?
The suspect told reporters at the police station that she was married to Asghar around 15 years ago and they had two children. "My husband used to beat me up and torture me," she said, adding that he last assaulted her ( sexual or otherwise  ) 2 days ago.
When Asghar came home around midnight on Monday, she laced the juice she served to him with intoxicants, the woman said." shot him at 5 in the morning, which led to his death," she said.
SHO Gujjar said police discovered the man's body at the house. "The woman was present at the scene of the crime and confessed to killing him," he said. The man was shot in the head, the SHO said. The pistol used for the killing was also recovered.

The 70 year old Abdul sure did not believe in birth control ! ( 17 children !) . Nor was compliant with Sharia , which "allows" onlee 4 wives at a time !. He had 6 ! Hope that the Ayesha gets a "good" lawyer and a sympathetic judge who will look into the circumstances of the case and finds her innocent .

Terroristani Gernails, Kurnails, Professionals of all kinds especially Politicians etc. etc. & etc. remind me of Colonel Cargil of the U S Army :

“Colonel Cargill was so awful a marketing executive that his services were much sought after by firms eager to establish losses for tax purposes. His prices were high, for failure often did not come easily. He had to start at the top and work his way down, and with sympathetic friends in Washington, losing money was no simple matter. It took months of hard work and careful misplanning. A person misplaced, disorganized, miscalculated, overlooked everything and open every loophole, and just when he thought he had it made, the government gave him a lake or a forest or an oilfield and spoiled everything. Even with such handicaps, Colonel Cargill could be relied on to run the most prosperous enterprise into the ground. He was a self-made man who owed his lack of success to nobody.” :rotfl:

Smog Being Blamed On "Dushman" India

Pakistan in panic as smog returns
Oct 30, 2018
LAHORE – Another spell of toxic smog has started gripping the heart of Pakistan – Lahore – amid unsuccessful efforts by provincial environment regulators in measuring the air quality index.
Each winter, from October to November, thick smog envelops Lahore and numerous cities across the dusty and densely populated Punjab plains.
Meanwhile, the international air quality monitoring agencies have listed Lahore among one of the most polluted cities in the world. A US Air Quality Index has stated Pakistan’s AQI had been reached up to 332 followed by Delhi’s 208. These statistics show that the Lahore’s air quality is much unhealthy as compared to the World Health Organization’s guidelines. An AQI between O and 50 is said to be good, 51 and 100 satisfactory, 101 and 200 moderate, 201 and 300 poor, 301 and 400 very poor and 401 and 500 severe.
With the drop in minimum temperature, increase in humidity level and lack of rain, the intensity of smog is expected to augment in the coming days. What adds to the smoggy conditions is the air pollution caused by industries, carbon emissions by vehicular traffic, crop burning and brick kilns.
On the other hand, the level of toxic elements like carbon monoxides (CO), oxides of sulfur, oxides of nitrate and particulate matters [PM2.5 and PM10] have reached far beyond Punjab Environmental Quality Standards (PEQS).However, despite the creation of a Rs250 million Punjab Environment Fund to control smog earlier this year, the Environment Protection Authority (EPA) has failed to bring significant changes in the quality of Lahore’s environment.
Sorry, THIS TIME, nothing mentioned in the farticle that the smog originated in Indian Punjab and was "created" by India

Paki Cricketers Congratulate Mr. Sania Mirza On Becoming A Proud Father Of An ( Indian ) Son

Twitterati rejoice over the arrival of first baby in Mirza-Malik clan
The News International
Oct 30, 2018
As great news has arrived for Indian tennis star Sania Mirza and her cricketer husband Shoaib Malik, ( AKA Mr. Sania Mirza  ) Twitterati has also poured its heart out to congratulate Indo-Pak’s power couple on the birth of their first child.
As per details, the six-time Grand Slam champion has given birth to a baby boy in Hyderabad Deccan, India.
Taking on Shoaib Malik’s announcement over the arrival of a new family member in Mirza-Malik clan, celebrities from both the nations extended their praises and commendations on the happy occasion.
Pakistani veteran cricketer Shahid Afridi tweeted: "Bohot bohot mubarak ho @realshoaibmalik and @MirzaSania . May Allah always keep you and your family happy and healthy Ameen".
Fortunately for one side ( unfortunate for Pakis !) the child will have Indian citizenship !
Congratulations via Teetar from an unexpected source !!! Propaganda Minister of the Paki Fauj

Dear Shoaib @realshoaibmalik and Sania @MirzaSania congrats on becoming Parents. Best wishes.

PS: At one time, the "excited couple" were mulling over plans to have a "foreign birth" for their yet to be born baby , so "baby Mirza Malik" would not be "burdened" with either Indian or Paki citizenship . Never happened. Wise move on her part , otherwise her "market value" would have tumbled IMHO !

Shoaib Malik, Sania Mirza reveal son's name
Karachi: Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik and his Indian wife tennis star Sania Mirza has revealed the name of their newly born baby boy.
" Thank you from the bottom of our heart to everyone for the wishes from Sania and I, and our families. Our son’s name is Izhaan."
Suspense over . Case closed

Off late this thread has been swamped by members posting every bit of relevant and irrelevant news from TSP. repeated requests have fallen on deaf ears. the thread as a result has lost all its coherence and it is near impossible for a reader to filter out the important from the mundane. This is a sad situation for what is one of our flagship threads and the mods agree that it can't continue.

Henceforth, post a news item in the main Terroristan thread only if it relates to the following topic(s) :
a) Pakistan's foreign relations (with India, China, US etc)
b) Major factors in Pak internal scenario e.g terrorism, army-civil relations, insurgency etc

As a rule of thumb, unless the news item mentions a factor that substantially affects India or that of pakistan as an entity, do NOT post in this thread.

Anything else, should be posted in this thread -------> viewtopic.php?f=1&t=7668.

Posts in Terroristan thread that do not meet these criteria would be summarily deleted by mods. since that entails additional burden on mods, three such deletions would automatically earn the poster an official warning.
As for what constitutes relevant and what doesn't, SSridhar is the final arbitrer, being the leading contributor to this thread.
--------
TL;DR version, if you want to post a TSP related news item that is interesting but not particularly relevant to India, post here ----> viewtopic.php?f=1&t=7668 and not in the main Terroristan thread. Else, you might be warned.

This is exactly how India belittles itself in the international arena and exposes an "independent" agenda of the MEA and its lootyens pasand liberandus to damage India by using egregious examples.

Why did this person have to bring in palestine and essentially take a sly dig against a friendly ally?? what has India gained from such a positioning??

She started off OK but it seems that she soon lost the plot and meandered into various dead end alleyways without having a common thread, expressed in a logical manner. The entire effort is disjointed and counterproductive.

Right to self-determination can't be abused to undermine territorial integrity: India

Right to self-determination can't be abused to undermine territorial integrity: India

Right to self-determination can't be abused to undermine territorial integrity: India
India has slammed Pakistan for raising the Kashmir issue at a UN General Assembly session, saying it has become Islamabad's habit to misuse any forum for "narrow political gains" and insisting that the right to self-determination cannot be abused to undermine a nation's territorial integrity.

First Secretary in India's Permanent Mission to the UN Paulomi Tripathi was responding to Pakistani envoy Maleeha Lodhi's remarks at the session that the struggle of the Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination has been suppressed for decades.

Lodhi said that the Kashmir issue will remain on "the UN agenda until the Kashmiri people are allowed to exercise their will, according to the agreed method prescribed by the Security Council - a plebiscite under the auspices of the United Nations."

"We reject the unwarranted reference made by one delegation to the State of Jammu and Kashmir which is an integral part of India," Tripathi said at a UNGA Third Committee session Tuesday on Elimination of Racism, Xenophobia and Right of People to Self-determination.

She said that it has become Pakistan's habit to misuse any forum for narrow political gains.

"In reality, it is the people of India as well as of our region and beyond, have to suffer most egregious violation of human rights inflicted by terrorism emanating from beyond our borders," she said.

"The right to self-determination cannot be abused and misrepresented with the aim of undermining the sovereignty and territorial integrity of a Member State," Tripathi said.

She asserted that self-determination has long been recognised as the right of peoples of non-self-governing colonies and trust territories to independence and self-government. Pointing that there are still 17 non-self governing territories which are in various stages of decolonisation, Tripathi said the international community must step up efforts to reach the conclusion of this long-drawn process.

She described Palestine as the "unfinished task" in the realisation of the right of people to self-determination, saying India is committed to the cause of the people of Palestine and the country has substantially scaled up bilateral development partnerships and increased contribution to the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).

On the issue of racism, Tripathi said despite efforts made in combating racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance, these pernicious ills continue to persist in different forms and manifestations.

"Rise of exclusionist ideologies inciting discrimination and violence threaten to subvert the globalised economic order and social cohesion," she said stressing that there is need for comprehensive legal and administrative responses to counter emerging challenges.

She voiced India's concern over the alarming rise in use of digital space for dissemination of racist and xenophobic material as well as for recruitment, networking and fundraising by groups espousing these ideologies.

"We must acknowledge that racial equality and freedom of expression need not be pursued in a zero-sum manner," she said adding that private entities including conventional and social media and civil society need to develop and observe codes of conduct that embody commitment to racial equality and non-discrimination.

Immunities enjoyed by the social media platforms for contents by users, must be counterbalanced with responsible content moderation and norms for removing objectionable contents on voluntary basis, Tripathi said.

She further said that complementary domestic action and international cooperation is necessary to effectively implement the Convention on Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination and the Durban Declaration and Programme of Action to realize inclusive growth envisaged in 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
