Watching hundreds of videos and images from every corner of India where people voluntarily put themselves under curfew and came out to their doors,windows,balconies at 5 PM to clap for the health workers, emergency staff, security personnel is both deeply emotional and heart warming .

The most touching video clip I saw was a poor rag picker who was seen clapping standing on the road near a luxurious apartment complex (and it is from places like these the rich & mighty try to dodge the health workers). Looks like the clarion call of Modi has been answered by the aam admi in all its gusto. Today I realized that why this man manages to pull votes . The only people who kind of kept quiet seems to be the 100% pure Modi-haters who could not try going out to on the streets because they fear people's backlash.

Every single usual suspect with usual baiting posts was met with fierce backlashes on my feed/timeline by lot of even mild mannered and normally dormant junta too

Air India also said that every precaution was taken to ensure the safety of its screw during the flights abroad that were made. I agree, this was an unprecedented event. The only time I recall the nation waking up like this was in 1965 when Shastri Ji gave out the 'Jai Jawaan, Jai Kisaan' rallying cry and asked everyone to forego one meal a week. Leaders like LBS and Modi are exceedingly rare.

The U.S. State Department is instructing its top diplomats to press governments and businesses in Eastern Europe and Eurasia to ramp up exports and production of life-saving medical equipment and protective gear for the United States, part of a desperate diplomatic campaign to fill major shortcomings in the U.S. medical system amid a rising death toll from the new coronavirus.

The appeal comes as European governments are themselves struggling to cope with one of the worst pandemics to spread around the globe since the 1918 Spanish flu. It represents a stark turnaround for the United States, which has traditionally taken the lead in trying to help other less-developed countries contend with major humanitarian disasters and epidemics.

The request could also undercut claims by U.S. President Donald Trump, who has repeatedly insisted that the United States can handle demands for tests and medical equipment on its own, declining to fully implement the Defense Production Act to mandate that U.S. companies produce these products. “We have so many companies making so many products—every product that you mentioned, plus ventilators and everything else. We have car companies—without having to use the act. If I don’t have to use—specifically, we have the act to use, in case we need it. But we have so many things being made right now by so many—they’ve just stepped up,” Trump said at a press conference on March 21.

China, meanwhile, is pushing to refurbish its image by sending its doctors and tens of thousands of medical kits abroad to the countries hit the hardest by the coronavirus, after botching the initial response to the virus, helping lead to its spread across the globe.

Chinese realty tycoon Ren Zhiqiang is known in the Chinese Communist Party for being an outspoken maverick. Ren, former chief of Beijing Huayuan Group, a state-owned developer, again managed to stoke fresh opposition to Chinese President Xi Jinping earlier this month with an opinion piece that went viral. In his tirade crucifying the top leader, Ren called Xi a “clown” and likened him to the emperor in the famous story by Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen.

Ren, a member of the party’s princeling clique whose father served as a deputy commerce minister under Mao Zedong, did not mince his words when deprecating Xi’s handling of the pneumonic plague in a post headlined “An official call to arms against Xi: The clown who insists on wearing the emperor’s new clothes.”

He said it was “a whistle in the wind” for Xi and his underlings to muzzle people’s simmering anger amid the rampant cover-ups and underreporting following the viral outbreak in Wuhan that began at the end of 2019, and that Xi himself deserved a fair share of the blame due to his inaction and measures implemented too late.

New Delhi: 12 foreign Muslims have been arrested in Patna, the capital of Bihar. All are from Germany or Italy. Police is conducting a thorough investigation about these foreigners caught from the mosque of Kurji Mohalla in Patna.

There were 12 foreign nationals hiding in the mosque located near Gate number 74 of Kurji, Patna. All have come to Patna in connection with the propagation of religion. They are especially spreading the relevance of de-addiction and religion. When the people of the neighborhood got information about this, they started committing uproar. People said that the corona is spread and foreigners are kept hidden here. Police came on notice of the uproar and took all the foreign nationals with them. <! –

However, to prevent the infection of coronavirus, the state government has decided to lockdown by 31 March. On Monday, the lockdown seems to be ineffective in many areas of Patna on the first day. Fish, meat and paan shops opened in Agamkuan, Kadamkuan Nala Road and Patel Nagar. People were seen walking around and chatting. People were seen riding on the roof of the bus at the Mithanpur bus stand.

By 31 March, after the decision of lockdown, a large number of people are going to their village. On Monday, there was a crowd of people at the Mithapur bus stand in Patna. People could sit on the terrace if they could not find a place to stand inside the bus. People are traveling to risk their lives so that they can return to their villages. People are also being charged arbitrary rent.

So far, two corona patients have been found in Bihar. 13 new patients suspected of corona have been admitted to the PMCH in 24 hours. Their sample has been sent for investigation. 520 people who have come to Bihar from other countries have been put on surveillance. 119 suspected patients have been placed in isolation. The OPD of Patna AIIMS has been closed indefinitely. Only emergency patients are being treated here.

Even after the lockdown, people gathered at a wedding ceremony in a community hall in Patna City on Sunday night. The police took quick action and removed the people and sealed the community hall. The wedding ceremony was completed in the presence of 5-6 people.

There is no effect of lockdown in Phulwari. The shops are open. People are roaming the market. The draft did not show the effect of lock down. Shops opened, the operation of vehicles on the road continued as before. Shops opened and trains also started running in the morning. Later, the police stopped the vehicles and closed the shops. Lockdown did not show any effect in Fatuha. Autos, trucks and other vehicles are running here. The shops are open. Public vehicles in Bakhtiyarpur are running a halt. Shops are also open.

Your argument and conclusion are both wrong. The financial system needs to be kept as stable as possible in order to support the operation of essential services rather than induce financial panic on top of everything else. We are the world's third biggest economy, with a total stock market capitalization of close to $3 trillion. It's not a little monopoly money arcade like TSP's markets. The damage in terms of voluntary restriction of activity can be made by with extra weekend and holiday work days during the rest of the year, following provision of UBI and tax rebates for the short term.

Sir, but weren't the Mughals and their ilk central-Asian Turkic (modern day Turkmenistan), and not actually from Turkey? From our Turkey dhaaga, I am given to understand that the Turks from modern-day Turkey themselves are of Greek descent with some indigenous Anatolian and Kurdish culture, having been converted by the Turkic hordes from Central Asia. So these ersatsz Turks claiming some past glory and rule over India is a fiction at best.
