India men's squash team wins maiden gold at Asian Championships.

The Indian men's team, led by the seasoned Saurav Ghosal, clinched its first-ever gold at the Asian Squash Team Championships with a 2-0 win over Kuwait in the final here on Friday.

Star player Ghosal sealed the victory after Ramit Tandon had given India the lead with a fluent straight games win over Ali Aramezi (11-5, 11-7, 11-4).

Ghosal then made short work of Ammar Altamimi 11-9, 11-2, 11-3 to give the team an unassailable lead.

The third match between Abhay Singh and Falah Mohammad was not played as the tie had been decided following wins for Tandon and Ghosal.

Having finished with the silver medal on two previous occasions, the Indian men, seeded one, justified its billing and emerged victorious with a dominant performance.

They topped Pool A with an all-win record, recording victories over Qatar, Pakistan, Kuwait, South Korea, and Chinese Taipei 3- 0 before edging out Malaysia 2-1 in the semifinal.

The women's team settled for the bronze medal after losing 1-2 to Malaysia in the semi-finals.

The women's Indian team finished second in Pool B with two wins and a loss. The women beat Iran and Singapore 3-0 before going down 0-3 to Hong Kong in the preliminary phase.

Results: Men: Final: India beat Kuwait 2-0 (Ramit Tandon beat Ali Aramezi 11-5, 11-7, 11-4; Saurav Ghosal beat Ammar Altamimi 11-9, 11-2, 11-3).

Then he hooked up with Papsee Tannu and now just won't leave the country.

FIFA Qatar
Solid pushback by Islamic Qatar against homos , ledbians, LGBT with impunity. If this was not enough, West is kowtowing. In the latest Virgin Atlantic always on the front blasting ads with LGBT content has chickened out and removed gender neutral uniform till cup lasts.
English, EU are bending backwards and one more bark they will crawl. https://www.ladbible.com/news/virgin-ha ... t-20221115

Dozens of official FIFA-approved World Cup hotels in Qatar are REFUSING to admit LGBTQ+ guests or telling same-sex couples to modify their behaviour and to not 'dress gay' https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sport ... s-gay.html

BLM to LGBT shock troops from US to Eu are quiet having being paid handsomely, which means they can be bought.

Qatar is accused of paying hundreds of 'FAKE FANS' to sing and support multiple different World Cup teams for videos shot in the streets of Doha, a week before the tournament starts
Qatar has been accused of paying hundreds of 'fake fans' to sing and dance in a series of choreographed videos ahead of the World Cup.
Footage has emerged of various 'fan parades' in Doha ahead of the tournament's big kick-off this Sunday, including celebrations featuring supporters supposedly from England, Brazil, Argentina and several other nations.
Several comments on the England 'fans' TikTok video featured the word 'England' along with the flag emojis of India and Bangladesh, countries where thousands of workers were recruited from to build World Cup stadia and infrastructure.
'Must be England fans from Kerala, India,' said one comment, while others pointed out the musical instruments in the videos were definitely not English. Another TikTok user wrote: 'Paid actors!'
One other comment said: 'I swear they're paying the workers to be fans at this point. I've seen them supporting like seven different countries.'

There might be a bit of truth in this as Kerala is in the grip of football fever and the whole place is in a frenzy. The streets are decorated with cutouts and flags of countries like Brazil, Argentina and Portugal so much so that it looks like a different country sometimes. Keralites in Qatar are also doing the same and are taking out processions etc in support of their favourite teams ahead of the WC. Western media outlets are either not aware of this or are using it as another stick to flog Qatar.

some turncoats are shying away from shaking legs at Qatar, most of the attack coming from Amnesty types in UK firing from LGBT shoulder.
I believe qtr is a collateral damage seen as ally of Iran which is giving hard time to US in Ukraine.

Read somewhere on SM that it is very cold in stadium, AC vents are blasting gases (greenhouse gases they are) into atmosphere in the stadium non stop. In several megatons. All climate czars and opportunist Gretas are quiet.

If I get a few millions of Qatari money, I would too ! This world cup is a big business. France's matches start perfectly at 19:50 - primetime in France, nearly 11PM in Qatar. To maximise TV ad revenues. The sums involved are colossal and throwing a few bones to keep the discontent quiet is normal practice. When money talks, Gretas shut up.

VARS, AI boosted coverage, Hawk's eye off side checks....technology being used in Fifa looks next level, other than transmission level clarity.
What is the new offside technology?
How does semi-automated offside technology work? In order to work, FIFA has installed 12 cameras in each of the stadiums which track the ball during the 90 minutes. The technology also uses data points on each of the players, while a sensor inside the ball is used to chart whether a player is on or off

Why even debate it, when France has implemented it. May be say, banning any ideology that don't adhere to the French way of life. Don't be misled by the calm in Europe. They were the Crusaders at one point in time. Orthodox Christianity got banned and ever heard any noise about religious Freedom? Europe can change to the extreme in quick time.
