This from the BBC
If Saina Nehwal wins Gold in womens singles badminton India will be second in the medals table. A very tall ask, but possible.
Disaster for England's Lynne Hutchison in the rhythmic gymnastics, twice dropping her ribbon during her routine which means England's only hope of gold on the final day rests in the men's doubles badminton final, which Nathan Robertson and Anthony Clark currently trail. But if the duo win gold, it means England, currently level on golds with India on 37 in the medals table, cannot be overhauled because they have won more silver medals than the hosts.

In the men's hockey 3rd place match, England lost in penalties AGAIN after finishing 3-3 in regular time, this time to New Zealand.
Re: Commonwealth Games-New Delhi 2010
England lose and get silver in mens double. Its upto Saina to get India into second place on the medals table. This from the BBC
Ooooh the tension - defeat in the men's badminton doubles mean England cannot add any more heavy duty medalry to their collection, which means they finish with 37 golds, 58 silvers and 45 bronzes, a grand total of 140 and currently sit second in the medals table. However, hosts India have the same number of golds and can usurp the red and white if Saina Nehwal can beat Malaysia's Wong Mew Choo in the women's badminton singles final. The odds are stacked in Nehwal's favour - she has yet to drop a game so far in the tournament. It's like the Ryder Cup, only without the rain and Rory McIlroy wigs.

Commonwealth Games 2010: chaos reigns as closing ceremony programme undecided
Preparations for the Commonwealth Games closing ceremony were in chaos on Wednesday night as Indian organisers made a series of last-minute changes and Scottish performers were left without security passes they required to take part.

By the way India has already hit the 100 medal mark. Saina's Gold or Silver will make it 101 medals in total for India.

As of now we already have reached a total tally of 100 as was predicted. We have reached three digit totals for the first time and twice that of 2006.

I cant understand why they build stadia in india without a roof for shade. very hot and intense sunlight.
Again there were more spectators than the seats in the Rs1000 category. while the Rs250 seats were not fully filled. MMS was sitting at the opposite side.
I looked at him, then looked at the hockey and the only thought that came to mind was SeS
