Saina in quick interaction told how tensed she was, she kept her cool in 2nd match & came back..! Wong played very well , she added, further told; it matters a lot to win in CWG being held in my country, I thank God for my victory at one poinr she thought she lost the match...!

And while getting gold, jan gan man is played and whole crowd has erupted into this raag Bilawal based national anthem, what a sight..!

From al-Beeb Live:
10:58 India
The Siri Fort Sports Complex erupts as if Sachin Tendulkar has just reverse swept the winning runs to earn India the Cricket World Cup. Saina Nehwal looks likely to join the "Little Master" in the pantheon of Indian sporting icons following her singles success, the hosts's second victory in the badminton following gold in the women's doubles. The added bonus that her victory demotes England into second place in the overall medals table will not go unnoticed by the ebullient Indian media and fans alike.
