Regarding the BOTs, I think they are just the normal search engines. I have seen them several times before.

Folks: there was one mention of some high-up female (an editor no less) who was said to have disappeared after aiding the terrorists in some way from inside one of the hotels. Unfortunately I did not see the item which got pulled within minutes. But someone in my family did. Name uncertain. Muslim, female and from ToI for sure. This is extremely serious and I wonder if anyone else has any further information. Dont know which channel.

I also heard that One TOI lady muslim editor is missing. She had gone to taj at around 11 PM last night. I don't know whether she was involved or not

I am wondering if the authorities would be looking at major short sellers in the market over the past 2 months. I believe that Thursday was the settlement day for stocks and the Paki ISI/Dawood types have been known to play the markets. I do not think they must have speculated on markets being closed for this incident as the acts of terror were not directed at the financial institutions but at the movers and shakers in the economy. AFAIK this attack was Fedayeen in nature with high initial casualties chalked up by the bad guys and then they must have planned to create a hostage situation to engage the GoI and get some more of their pals free in exchange for freed hostages. They may not have planned for the way this one panned out. Any thoughts from Gurus?

NSG @ Taj Delhi

It appears that NSG and other forces are documenting the entire episode as it unfolds. Hopefully, they are video taping and recording the conversations as well for future analysis and proving the case.

I have seen several policemen and military personnel with cameras documenting riots on TV, similar to "embedded journalists" in Iraq II and Afganistan. I think we have something very similar here based on these photographs.

Added later:
I don't think our military will every opt for embedded journalists as they will start arguing against the military right in the middle of the war and bring in Human rights and other issues as they are recording the incidents.

Maj Gen Hooda says there were no hostages. People had locked them selves in the room, and hence they were confused as hostages. The terrorists had no intention of taking any hostages nor they were interested in negotiations. These guys were speaking in punjabi and in their cell phone conversation one guy instructs another not to tell them that they are from pakistani hyderbad but indian hyderbad.

I was IGI Airport, Delhi yesterday.
I hadn't exactly logged in or checked out TV then, but security was just Normal tight - not extra tight.
And yes, there were persons escorting foreigners mostly through check-in, security, etc.
And yes, the CISF personnel at the entry gates were smiling and very very courteous

A very testing time for the BRF memberhood. Many a member got close to being banned but none did get banned. An unspoken kindler gentler approach was used.

Thanks, ramana

Hmmm... Thats disappointing... but I can also understand that they cannot divulge any operational details right now. We still have a little hope that they may release the photos later.

Looks like Israeli citizens have been affected [dead/injured] and also Jews of Nariman house

If it is conclusively proved that Pakistani citizens were involved, would the Israelis be in any position to launch some sort of attack on specific Pakistani locations.

The Israelis appear to avenge the loss of its peolple better than India does for its own?

Indian 'terrorists' should immediately seize the waterworks in Kashmir and shut of water supply to the piglets

Indian govt should express it's inability to resume supply and remove the 'terrorists; (just as the pigs are unable to control their piglets)

Supply should resume only after days calculated @ 1 day per Indian life lost

Let the pigs drink sea water

Some guy called Reza from Pakistan: Whenever militant attack happens in India, even before evidence is gathered, Indian analysts blame pakistan. Pakistan is aware of it and has condemned it.
