few point i can think of disadvantages of mbrl:
- Rocket would be expensive compared to artillery shell.
- flat trajectory compared to artillery. disadvantage in mountains.
- more visible and predictable to WLR

I've a query to gurus regarding this incident. I see that many commercial airlines fly over other conflict zones such as Iraq, Syria etc.
Is flying over such areas safe in light of this incident?
