Leopard scent marks are used to mark territory and the odour isnt strongly perceptible to human olfactory senses. However, animals with better olfactory senses detect it and avoid. Having said that, sharing tradecraft wasnt a good idea.


Yeah, what was the point of revealing that guard dogs won't work against indian strikes? We just took one option off the table. Seriously, no point in bragging. My pet peeve is how after each terror strike during UPA era, the establishment journos would write glowing detailed reports of how India cracked the case. Next report would say how hard it is, as jihadis had wised up. Really? I wonder why.. perhaps its had to do with the fact the police guys were giving away op details!

I think it is more to do the fact that we have a fundamental insecurity in our psyche and that compells us to seek ways to look important or demonstrate something special....
