INDIA: Soldiers patrol mountain border with China

Video of Sela Pass/NEFA in 1962 war. Couple of errors in the clip description:
* Sela is in the Arunachal Pradesh-Tibet not Ladakh-Tibet border.
* Those look like local Monpas constructing the road, not "Tibetan refugees".

Mission Army Episode 5.

In this episode of Mission Army, Nat Geo takes the viewer into the mind of a gunner - the men with the big guns and a big heart! The Artillery played a vital role in the Kargil war of 1999. Nat Geo profiles some of the latest and modern artillery combat systems in the Indian Army. Our Final 5 train to be Observation Post Officers and get to fire the 105 mm field guns. They also get to guide the Bofors fire as OP officers -- an opportunity of a lifetime!

Ceremonial Guard Mounting - Hodson's Horse

A good video showing parts of the Guards mounting ceremony at the Quarter Guard of Hodson's Horse (an old cavalry regiment formed by a Maverick British officer, William Hodson).

My pet peeves:
1. The marching style, seems to be a bit slow or made up. They don't step out at the full pace, but kind of keep very short steps. I dont know if it was the slippery ground which made them do this.
2. The buglers seems to be in a hurry to finish the tune. Especially when the old guard and new guard exchange compliments.

OMFG! The person hellmarched the march. That in itself immediately ruins the entire aura of the video.

But anyways, here is a awesome video from MAKS 2005 with the first aircraft being shown in the vid being an MKI. Camera placement on the fighter enables us to see TVC in effect, enjoy.

Tweaked the promo for Mission Navy by adding a more powerful song, that kind of toughens the image of Navy in this vid, at least to my eyes.

There seems to be a "cough" noise in the middle, once you notice it becomes really irritating. Was hoping to find another copy

There was another Video of the PLA PLAF and PLAN
The song used was a Nordic/ Scandanavia European band music. Sounded like Hymns kind of in the beginning.

Anyone have that video, I am really after the band which wrote the song. I remember the original video of three horseman riding towards on objective like a castle or something.

The band is French and they are called ERA

The song you are referring to is called: The Mass

Scandanavians are known for their metal music like Dimmu Borgir, from whom I used the song for the Mission Navy video. Cheers

Thanks a lot for sharing that video. I do not think that I have ever seen any other interview by a PARA SF Officer.
BTW, here is another interview by the same Maj Gen KC Padha from PARA SF.

Mission Army must specifically showcase Dhurv in its armed version which will unleash its potential form and enable Indian People to familirize themselves with armed attack helicopter.

WSI Dhruv which you are talking of has not been inducted yet. So, there is no possibility of it appearing in Mission Army.

Anyways, Mission Army has moved on beyond the Aviation corps episode and so, can only hope for it being showcased in the next season Mission Army or the "Rocky and Mayur Show"

I am sure that, by now, most would have added Natgeoindia to their youtube subscription list. For those who have not, here are the newly uploaded episodes of Mission Army:
Episode 6: Army Aviation Corps

Episode 7: Corps of Engineers

Episode 8: Inside Logistics of IA.
