Brilliantly researched PBS Frontline documentary on David Headley and his murky past.

A perfect terrorist: David Headley

FRONTLINE and ProPublica investigate the mysterious circumstances behind David Headley’s rise from heroin dealer and U.S. government informant to plotter of the 2008 attack on Mumbai.
Added later: Must watch. Contains new information (e.g. his pic upon arrival at Mumbai airport snapped by intel) and his links with Maj Iqbal of ISI.

^^ Sorry, couldnt see it currently due to streaming block in office but Headley's pic was snapped by Indian intel? We knew he was to be watched even when he arrived here?

The narrator only says that he got that pic from an intel source. The pic is actually not from some CCTV, but is from a distance of 2 feet of DH and is actually quite good in quality - meaning a person clicked it.

Thanks :) . I liked the drill at the end. It was like a miniature version of Cold Start Doctrine.

Blue Angels video with some nice close up shots. Flying inverted over water must take some serious skill. Full HD.

First Republic Day parade of India at Rajpath

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXJh5JoAbew

Rabindranath Tagore filmed reciting the National Anthem of India

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jnsF7uy8KPo

--------------------------------------------------

Can someone x-post these videos to the Republic Day thread that would be started on that day? Would be relevant to that thread, I think.

Would be on the road that day, with uncertain connectivity. So, would be unable to do it myself. Thanks

Some nice shots of the Raptor. Note at 2:41 that there is no refueling probe which extends from the aircraft. The refueler's probe goes all the way in.

Seems to be the norm in the USAF? F-15 is also similar.

The American "flying boom" refuelling system shown offers much higher fuel flow rates than the probe and drogue used by India and other nations.

The 63rd Republic Day Celebrations on 26th January 2012 at New Delhi, India Webcast

Loved the flypast! Quick list of things showcased at the parade -

C130J, Mig29, Jaguar, Su30MKI, Agni 4, Rustom-1, An-32 ...

The video is too bright for the Su-30MKI maneuver in the webcast above and visibility is better here - IAF pilots enchant audience with spectacular flypast

<Partially Cross Posting from the Republic Day Thread>

Dear Rakshaks,

Happy Republic Day to you all!!! :D

<ed>

After the Amar Jawan ceremony when MMS reached Rajpath and got down from his car & was introduced around, right in the begining I thought there was a female SPG guard. Anyone can confirm :?: 8)

<ed>

Pay attention from 08:30 to 09:10. Most clearly visible between 08:58 to 09:06. She walks in from the left side of the screen after the car stops, goes to the door from which Gursharan Kaur disembarks and is seen behind her 8)

So it means lady SPG for PM's wife :idea: :?: 8)

Seeking clarifications from Gyaanis.....

Yes even I realised that when i was watching the parade this morning , Mrs PM has lady SPG for her ..... I think i have seen lady SPG before think for Sonia gandhi.

What is one of the most impressive part of the day is also to watch the PM motorcade and his entire fleet of cars , jammers and most certainly the SPG , the SPG certainly is very impressive and has the WoW effect , they look the most smart and lethal of all VIP security personal of PM and President that i have seen in the world.
