Vertical climb, followed by a pedal turn

This is not the most aggressive iteration of the display that Flynn had been practicing but a good start given 3I software and flight envelop that is available as of now. Full 50 degree AOA and 9G next year will make it better. The sustained AOA pass that goes straight into a climb was the best one imho. The Rhino can't do that this well while the F-22 does it way better.

This gif makes the pedal turn more clear. Obviously w/o TVC since the F-35 does not have that.

This is a very interesting video. The helo rolls and lifts off using "ground effect" no doubt. Then he tilts his nose forward to gain airspeed while he is still in ground effect. He then goes off the edge where he loses ground effect but has enough forward speed to maintain lift and some climb - but his climb rate slows to level flight in the last 1 second of video. I may be wrong.

The F22 Raptor captured beautifully in this video doing a demonstration over Toronto in the last few days. For Shiv specially as the videographer fully captures the entire sequence of the aircraft's flight during the demo.

^^Very nice. The videographer must have had a stiff neck and shoulder after that! Youtube actually has a "stabilize" feature that removes even the little shake there is. I reuploaded some old very shaky videos using that feature

Formating with that prop plane (Mustang?) was spectacular.

The heritage flight portion is always the most impressive to me. I'll be seeing it again in a couple of weeks and look forward to it much more than the slow speed high alpha routine the raptor has been doing for a number of years now.

For me what was even more spectacular was the landing after the demo flights at nearby Pearson Airport where the F22s were parked for the duration of the show. The F22 on one occasion flew about 500 feet over the runway along it's entire length and probably for no more than 1.5 kilometers beyond the end of the runway, did a very tight 180 degree banking turn when it's landing gear came down, and straightened out barely 7-10 seconds before touchdown!! What a contrast to commercial jetliners lining up 30 kilometers away as they begin their landing runs.

For all the advances in military, weapons loading still remains a fairly manual job.

Thanks for the video. It was truly ahead of its time. Had the ability to do Pugachev's Cobra much before the term was even coined!

How amazing is this - On 08.10.17, CRPF personnel entered the terminal building of Airport Jammu to board the chartered aircraft bound for Srinagar. The moment they entered the building, the public present there gave them thunderous applause and the building resonated with the sound of claps. The felicitation continued till the last man left the terminal building for the aircraft.

Not related to Indian Mil

I realise that I am kinda plugging this game here. Anyways, a video of the their upcoming Hornet-C aircraft and new terrain system.

The Hornet is WIP but the start up procedure etc. are involved and gives a good flavour on the operations side as well.

For aviation aficionados I think it will be a good watch (run time is slightly over 30 mins).
