Much better indeed , you must have recorded it.

One thing I notices was then they do a Cobra or a Tail Slide the Canard moves by 45 degrees , Any idea what purpose it serves ? I dont think its used as air brakes else they could have used the one behind the cockpit.

One thing I read was the canard was added because MKI turned heavy due to BARS radar ~ 500 kg and without the canard the MKI had the tendency to pitch up
But when it comes to sheer Su-30 MKI manoeuvrability, nothing to beat this video:

:!: :!: :!: Good catch Austin. I have regularly looked at canard action during Cobra/Hi AoA flight but I had not noticed it for Tail Slide until this video.

It seems to me that at such high AoA the canard acts as a lift device that holds the nose up in the air. By pointing the leading edge of the canards further "down" the nose falls abruptly causing the plane to gather airspeed as it heads groundwards.

PS thanks for sharing the 1965 video

Nice visuals and I may be in the minority here but it could have done with a far more aggressive tone and tenor.

^Nope, those are the Israeli drones. But the video is spectacular!!! Aggressive tone might have been good also, but I think it would have been too much of a copy of the khan videos out there.

Some great camera work and high quality cameras. But then again India is king in cinematography. The armed forces are only now beginning to realize that they can use the kick as movie-video skills available in India.

Gurjis! You have to see this video. I have yet to see a more emotional and beautiful video for IA. The song, the cinematography, the Jawans, the Lady Officers :D . Everything is so perfect. I hope you will like this.

Came across this interesting video talking about WW-2 through data representation. If one of us who is good in analytics and has access to special tools can create some thing similar narrating story of our wars.

Rumors that this video was commissioned by the PLA from chinese video game maker Tencent. Looks like a commie wet dream. (it can also be opening cinematic of a their freemium game). Pretty interesting nonetheless.
