There is no such thing as Gurkahs in the Indian Army. We have Gorkhas. You are on the right track but not 3 GR.ks_sachin wrote:Gurkhas?Akshay Kapoor wrote:Another Quiz - which is the only Regt in the Indian army which doesn’t use a lanyard. It’s an infantry Regt.

Actually some bns of MLI continued wearing their lanyard in the neck even after Gen JJ Singh came and changed their uniform and gave them fancy 'light infantry' shoulder flashes. But now all battalions have stopped it.Ramesh wrote:It was changed when one of theirs became chief

If your question is correctly worded then I am stumped. 16 Cav class composition is South Indian classes but the only infantry regt with that class composition is Madras Regt. I presume you are not referring to Madras Sappers which also has the same class composition.ks_sachin wrote:Sir 2nd world war.Akshay Kapoor wrote:

I don't understand ? What were the communities ?ks_sachin wrote:I stand corrected. I did mean Marathas and you are right they are not all South Indian.

As the news said 5 jokers tried to cross over . Got blown up.sudhan wrote:What triggered this response? Or was it just some soldiers blowing off steam?
We must retaliate against unsuccessful attempts like this one just like we would be compelled to do if they had succeeded in wreaking the carnage that they had in mind. Hope for much more of the same.nam wrote:As the news said 5 jokers tried to cross over . Got blown up.sudhan wrote:What triggered this response? Or was it just some soldiers blowing off steam?
Then it was the turn of theirs godfathers.
This is the way to do it. Any infiltration across LoC or attack in Kashmir, we light up the Paki side of LOC.
Anybody dies, Pak gets the whipping.
