During this exercise, Hamza deployed a single DM-2A4 torpedo against a decommissioned Pakistan Navy Tariq-class frigate and sunk the vessel with the round, said Turkish defence engineering company STM in a statement on 21 March.

STM was awarded a contract to upgrade Pakistan's fleet of three Khalid-class submarines, including Hamza , in 2016. As part of the upgrades, the boats are being fitted with a new underwater command-and-control suite, weapon control systems, sonars, attack and search periscopes, and electronic warfare effectors, among other equipment.

Upgrade work on Hamza was completed in early 2021 and the boat was handed over in April that year. Work on the remaining boats, PNS Khalid (S-137) and PNS Saad (S-138), is ongoing.

Shameful that while the PN quickly did this, we were struggling to even order torpedoes for our submarines. The DM-2A4 is amongst the most lethal torpedoes in service today. And we could have ordered it and ensured the PN didnt have access to it, but as usual we dragged our feet on this most crucial of things.

A single T-80UD is 40T plus - aircraft are not the best way to transfer any of these assets.

And that's a pattern western arms manufacturers follow., cap the edge (leaks et all) , arm the competition (Pakistan, China), exploit the weakness, and thus enjoy new orders.

BTW wiki says India already deploys DM 2 mod 4.

The ToT from P-75I will negate the DM2A4's advantage. The first P-75I boat will arrive sometime in the late 2100s, when the world will have moved on to lithium powered warp drives...but the Indian Navy will tout the ToT of the P-75I. She will be lethal Sir! :)

Not sure of whether this fits in this thread, Adminullahs feel free to move this post
Considering Terrorists openly declared themselves "Atimi Quwwat" on this date a few decades back, came across a celebratory AK phyrr video
Most of it was regurgitated dog doodoo but the "wardi behind the deshatgardi" Lodhi could not control himself from public hanging of Bajwa regarding our "Accidental Firing" of a supersonic mijjile into Pakjab
At ~1:22:30 into the video, Corner plot Lodhi after starting bak bak on "Escalation Ladder" goes rogue at 1:23:40 (Technical glitch, maybe?)

They sent Admiral General Aladeen Kidwai to Londonistan to unveil new and ek dum first class "Quid Pro Quo Plus" strategy and India sent a supersonic missile into Pakjab

Every once in a while this handle would post unverified information without source. His info on chinese helicopters facing low availability in leh had no proof. Neither I could find any source corroborating that phillipines or Vietnam are planning to evaluate LCA.

Posting info without source is actually immmature.

To fight taliban in Afghanistan.

Thats why Massa gave them a Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigate, after giving it a $65M refit for anti-sub operations. Pakistan then duly green painted and called it PNS Alamgir. It has been busy fighting Taliban navy, ISIS submarines and Al Qaeda frigates since then as part of GOAT.

Before anyone posts this fake news in this thread, let me dispel this right away. It ties into the recent helicopter crash in Pakistan.

The account claims that a US military drone took down the Pak Military helicopter.

https://twitter.com/SouthAsian13/status ... YF6ZMI9rGw ---> "Caryn E Gifford", a fake account created in 2021 posted a fake tweet quoting the US Embassy in Pakistan. As expected, the deaf and dumb followers of a certain political party jumped on it. The fake account changed its username and now has 400 followers.

Pakistanis have always been ingenuous when it comes to use second hand maal to fill their gaps.

https://www.brusselstimes.com/198363/be ... of-service

Belgian C130swere bought in 70s, PAF bought theirs in 63. In 22, Belgian C130s are 50 years old. PAF C130s were also upgraded in 2016. So if PAF C130s are probably going to pony up for 3-5 years more. That would give PAF's belgian C130s atleast (7 + 3/5) 10-12 years of life till 2032-34.
