no, all political parties have the same viewpoint now wrt russia and nato. the thing to understand is that she was a parachute pm, she was never elected as pm from a public mandate, the previous guy resigned and she miraculously made it up the ranks to be the pm, like sunak. the finns on the ground have mentioned that she was never really popular, not as pm anyway, only the phaankebaazi of the western media and simping of epic proportions among the thirsty made her as a global icon like arden, kallas, leyen and to a lesser extent, baerbock

Zelenskyy’s Warsaw visit overshadowed by political blowup
https://www.politico.eu/article/volodym ... d-ukraine/
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s state visit Wednesday to Warsaw blew up into a political crisis when Poland’s agriculture minister quit on the same day over his inability to cut the amount of Ukrainian agricultural products flooding into the country.

That’s a key political issue for Poland’s ruling Law and Justice party, which has to keep farmers onside ahead of this fall’s parliamentary election; farmers are increasingly outraged over falling produce prices caused by soaring Ukrainian imports.

Tweet is from the President/CEO of Pacific Forum (https://pacforum.org/), an American think tank.

https://twitter.com/DavidSantoro1/statu ... 83232?s=20 ---> I’ve been in India for nearly a week and I’m more convinced than ever, that if the US wants to advance US-India relations it needs to engage India in the same way France does. That is, stop trying to “rally” India behind you, just focus on areas where cooperation is possible.

Ukraine asks Russia to be ready for battle over Crimea:

https://www.politico.eu/article/ukraine ... zelenskyy/

Quite bizzaire. They don’t have the manpower to mount a full scale invasion on Crimea as Russia is entrenched. Furthermore, in the unlikely scenario Russia thinks it will lose, it probably will result in tactical nukes being used as Crimea is more or less Russian territory as is say Stalingrad…

Also points out internal differences in Ukraine…

Probably misdirection to force the Russia to move forces into Crimea weakening its positions elsewhere enabling the Ukrainians to exploit to create a breakthrough.

This is good trolling: :rotfl:
Russia is ready to grant political asylum to former U.S. President Donald Trump if he asks for it. This was announced by Maria Butina, a member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs.

"If Trump asks for political asylum, Russia will consider this application, of course. Can Russia exchange Trump? Russia has enough of its own citizens that we are now advocating for, including as part of the exchange," Maria Butina said.

WSJ: CIA director not happy with Saudi rapprochement with Iran

William Burns visited Saudi Arabia this week and "expressed disappointment with the kingdom's actions." He also discussed intelligence and counterterrorism cooperation with the Saudi leadership.

"He told Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman that the U.S. was dumbfounded by Riyadh's re-establishment of relations with Iran and Syria
- countries that are still under heavy Western sanctions" the newspaper wrote.

How dare the Middle East follow the path of peace! The CIA didn't allow it.

I cannot find the WSJ article, can you share the link please? (I have subscription and happy to share relevant bits in quotes here).

I know CIA director made a trip to Saudi, but not much has been mentioned about the topic of coverage.

The closest I could find was Spriter on Twitter https://twitter.com/Spriter99880/status ... 48961?s=20

Be cautious, Spriter routinely shares pieces that cannot be tracked to source and are debunked. For good measure, Spriter also shares authentic pieces. For that reason I am hoping you have the WSJ source link. Some ME news online seem to be quoting Spriter, but again no other source.

No Sachin ji, she wasn't removed for her Ukranian support as overwhelming number of Finn's oppose Russia and approve Finland joining NATO. Ultimately, it came down to coalition politics and voting percentages that contributed her party's loss.
