Talking to few colleagues (Dems) who always opposed wars by Bush
* We have to project our power
* Cheapest war in terms of American men
* Someone else is fighting Russia for us. Why not take it?
Talking to few colleagues (Dems) who always opposed wars by Bush
speculation no real journalism, no intent to investigate, quickly farticle degenerates into cacophony of ukraine propaganda
Yep!Cyrano wrote:A thought crossed my mind: what if the target of Nuland, Blinken etc is actually Ukraine where tens of thousands of Jews were killed in the last century by banderites and Nationalists, in horrible massacres like Babi yar etc only they are getting the job done by Russia killing two birds with one stone? Being too Anglo-Saxon Trump didn't care about this but Biden is onboard fully. Too far fetched?
Or of USA wants the Ukrainian farmlands without resistance, in fact the Ukrainian mobilization has been lopsided, those from Kyiv and near the Belarus Border escape while the Hungarian minority, Lviv, Odessa, Donbas are all being dragged from the street. Some Ukrainian Soldiers who became POW's, then exchanged by the Russians went again to the front and died.Cyrano wrote:A thought crossed my mind: what if the target of Nuland, Blinken etc is actually Ukraine where tens of thousands of Jews were killed in the last century by banderites and Nationalists, in horrible massacres like Babi yar etc only they are getting the job done by Russia killing two birds with one stone? Now if the Ceasefire comes now much of the fertile land along the Dnieper and mining areas in the Carpathian Mountains will have have a large % of their locals dead.
Our American allies would like to conquer and break us without firing a shot.JE Menon wrote:Yes, an Anglosphere driven push to bring BJP/RSS/Modi down a notch is very clear. Going by all the happenings, it is also clear to me that the Anglosphere is moving in the direction of chaos being the preferred option on the Eurasian transcontinental landmass - i.e. to reduce the larger states eventually so they can pick up and pick on the pieces that result from the chaos. The moves against India can be seen very clearly within this framework.
Quite true, every sort of low life BIF has become active crawling out of the woodwork nowadays, the places where it wont work are the authoritarian states where want to go with a sledgehammer.. "warning China that we will do Taiwan if they help Russia " being one example. That plane order was to keep them quiet at least for a while i presume.Y. on one hand eu channels r abuzz with 'Bakhmut not significant' on the other hand Ukr has thrown everything it has to save it! Ukr desperately wants Russia to escalate, so that NATO in turn can escalate. It also forces Russia to put disproportionately large resources to secure its long borders against infiltration and drones.IndraD wrote:ukr terrorists undertake major terror attack deep inside Ru, several dead, many hostages taken https://meduza.io/en/feature/2023/03/02 ... at-we-know
30-40 armed ppl entered Russ territory, yet number of dead is single digit?? Something massive is hidden! Let's hope it do not turn into another Beslan hostage tragedy!!!IndraD wrote:ukr terrorists undertake major terror attack deep inside Ru, several dead, many hostages taken https://meduza.io/en/feature/2023/03/02 ... at-we-know

West has backed them so unconditionally that they are exploiting that to put those leaders in an untenable position with no option but to escalate. The two countries most likely to find themselves dragged into escalation are US and UK. France and Germany -- it is not a given that they will.
Apparently, a50 was indeed hit with some amount of damage.gakakkad wrote:^ per panwalla no a50 was hit . A Belarusian ATC tower of hybrid civilian and military use was damaged. Nonetheless act of war against Belarus.
A detailed overview of how NATO's integrated C4ISR really works in Ukraine.
In two previous articles I’ve mentioned not only the overwhelming C4ISR that the West commands in Ukraine, but also specifically the series of leaks which corroborated this, and gave us the insight into how their systems actually operate, and to what granularity they are transmitting the essential data to on-the-ground Ukrainian forces.
So let’s take a small deep-dive into exactly what type of information they’re providing just so that you can get a general picture of:
1. Why Ukraine has been so ‘successful’ at times, for instance in certain abilities to ambush Russian forces, or effect ‘withdrawals’ like the ‘grand Kharkov counter-offensive’ of last September.
2. Why Russia is forced to fight in a very ‘smoke-like’ fashion, never committing too-large of a force anywhere.
3. How the remnants of the Ukrainian airforce are able to survive this long by evading Russian counter-strikes, and vice versa—how the Russian airforce must remain quite limited in its operations.
But they are low orbit polar orbit satellites, so keep them always covering Ukraine, space X has to use up a lot of fuel , those satellite life will be coming down shortly. No wonder Elon Musk is complaining. I don't the west thought this through, an attrition war will end up badly for themTanaji wrote:Starlink are comms sats so not sure how they can be used for surveillance. However, SpaceX gives the US with a phenomenal launch capacity with reliable cadence so that is a big plus that Russia doesnt have.
Starlinks is a constellation of communication satellites, as Tanaji said. They are LEO satellites, as Aditya_V said.Aditya_V wrote:But they are low orbit polar orbit satellites, so keep them always covering Ukraine, space X has to use up a lot of fuel , those satellite life will be coming down shortly.
