In short all caste calculations are off the charts because of NaMo and they still say there is no Namo wave.

another wet-pant pukes BS seeking to drive a wedge between what the RSS folks want and what the aam lotus voter does...
The RSS's core beliefs are bound to create problems for a Modi-led NDA. If the BJP needs fewer numbers from the allies to form and run a government, there will be an overwhelming demand from the Sangh to push its agenda-from rewriting history textbooks to repealing Article 370 to a uniform civil code. But in the event of that happening, Modi would rather drive his own agenda of good governance and development rather than the Sangh's.

The change that Modi is promising may appeal to the aspiring millions who see themselves as victims of the UPA's policy paralysis but is unlikely to appease the army of swayamsevaks-who swear by swadeshi and frugal living-canvassing for him in this election. If the recent history of the Parivar in Gujarat is any evidence, the Sangh may have to soon Modify its charter of demands.
http://indiatoday.intoday.in/story/nare ... 56449.html

If its any solace, the writer is a gandhi. But the issue is, why phor can not both agendas (the cultural nationalism one of the sangh) and the good governance on of the aam voter not go hand-in-hand in parallel, eh?

Jatin Gandhi's career prospects are completely tied to Rahul's rise.

Jatin's only claim to fame seems to be "He has covered Rahul Gandhi since he entered the political arena" and an odious book on Rahul.

So, sour grapes and a phlegm filled articles are the only thing that folks like Jatin can now muster.

9% growth a pipedream for India, 6.5% more likely: Crisil
HT Correspondent , Hindustan Times New Delhi, April 20, 2014
First Published: 23:57 IST(20/4/2014) | Last Updated: 00:05 IST(21/4/2014)

There is an even chance that the Indian economy will grow at an annualised average rate of 6.5% over the next five years, credit rating and research firm Crisil said in a report on Sunday, signalling that the country’s slowdown is stickier than earlier believed.

The slower expansion will affect job creation and job prospects, while on the other hand, weak income will affect the sales of a range of goods — from cars to two-wheelers, from houses to cement and steel.

Crisil warned that unless pressing policy and implementation issues are addressed, even sustaining this (6.5%) growth would be difficult.

The Indian economy’s average annual expansion of 6.7% during the past five years (2009-14 and Crisil’s forecasts suggest the economy’s a steep turnaround wasn’t likely anytime soon.

"With 6.5% average GDP growth, non-farm employment over this period will at best grow by 37 million," Crisil said in a report titled "Of Growth and Missed Opportunities".

"This means an additional 14 million (people) will be forced to either depend on low-productivity agriculture or remain unemployed," it said.

By 2019, more than 51 million people would be seeking employment
.

"Given insufficient job opportunities, labour force will not be able to migrate to the higher-wage, more- productive industry and services sectors," the report pointed out.

Elevated prices have hurt family budgets, as companies are offering meagre salary hikes and are holding back expansion and hiring. Besides, high inflation has prompted the RBI to raise lending rates.

Households putting off spending are early warning signals for the onset of an economy-wide squeeze.

According to the Crisil report, sales of consumer items such as cars and televisions "have taken a huge beating in the last 2-3 years" .

"The high growth phase won’t return soon-not in the next five years at least," the report said.

India’s economy has now recorded five successive quarter of sub-5% growth, and appears set to clock the second consecutive year of annual growth of below 5%, the first time in 25 years.

India’s economy grew by 4.5% in 2012-13, the worst in a decade.

From a foreign investors’ darling to an economy characterised by policy flip-flops, the Indian economy’s turnabout has been as rapid as the heady 9%-plus growth it clocked during 2004-2008.

If desi dekho no money can't be improved then improve upon Hindutva. Muddy the waters for the next set of AAPturds and INCturds. The base condition should be one where identifying with Hindu causes and acting on them will have to become a hygene factor among all political parties in India and not merely a differentiating factor as it is today.

Narendra Modi the man behind the mask
DC | 22nd Sep 2013

The ultimate pracharak...

by Shiv Visvanathan

The Narendra Modi juggernaut is moving to Delhi. Most remarkable, how he not only controls the masses around him but determines the narratives about himself. In this essay, I want to break the stencil by going back to Modi and the bureaucracy.

As shrewd observers of power, they provide a sense of his control beyond the creation of riots and gated cities of the future. Listen to five bureaucrats who agreed to talk about his initial years.

Bureaucrats in the Gujarat cadre claimed they used to laugh at Narendra Modi when he first came to meetings. Unlike previous chief ministers who were either MLAs or had some political and administrative experience, this man was a novice, and a pracharak at that.

He came for meetings but sat through them silently. For a whole year, he said nothing. But he asked everyone else to speak. Meetings with secretaries would begin at 6.30 and last long into the night.

Everyone spoke. Everyone had to speak. Each department’s anatomy, agenda, problem, and tactic had to be presented. It was as if his mind and ears were tuning in, listening to notes of discord and making them bend to his will.

“Earlier, we senior bureaucrats would boast about our notes of dissent. We were as proud of them as if they were Supreme Court judgements, discuss them, and describe how we bought a minister's unreal proposal to heel with dissent notes till it sounded the way we wanted.

A few dissent notes could domesticate a minister. But Modi changed the rules of the game. A memo was returned or subject to silent dismissal till it came back the way he wanted it to be written,” the bureaucrat said.

As his knowledge of bureaucracy grew, the logic of evil intensified, increasing by scale from cadre to secretariat to city. Surveillance was high and it created organisations without dissent. He had a way with any opposition, a classic ability to dismember them.

Remember the Bhartiya Kisan Sangh? Raucously loud, they were powerful peasant leaders, people who could gather a lakh of people at a rally with ease. But for Modi, emasculating them was a day's work. They are gone. Modi knows how to dismantle institutionalised opposition, partly by changing the rules of the game.

The chamber of commerce in Gujarat is another example. It’s a powerful pressure group, confident, substantial a bulwark of civil society. Its secretary had this to say, only a few months ago when asked about the COC. He said “what can I tell you, instead of representing us, it is now an extension of the regime.”

These are not sentimental men. They understood the rigours of the politics of patronage. What Modi did to COC was to change its membership, change its content sociologically.

It is now a society of small time businessman, segmented and easy to handle. It’s a skill that Modi employs to control institutions. The means are clean. He emasculates as a means to counter or dismember. And he is immaculately methodological.

Until Modi, the senior bureaucrats’ experience of other CMs were of men who were ready to please, ready to play by the new rules of the game. In Modi’s case, his initial silence may have been misleading.

Says a bureaucrat “Don't doubt the intelligence, the hegemonic intelligence of the man. He came as pracharak and created a pracharak's world at the secretariat. Two things by that time were clear; the intelligence of the man and his intolerance of dissent.

“He was a sponge. He sat, listened, absorbed for a year. It is not as if he was assimilated or diluted by us. It is as if he domesticated and colonised us. He remained the pracharak but the secretariat became a magnified pracharak's world. We became a cadre of clerks, a shakha of bureaucrats. And he sat and listened….”, he adds.

“Modi grew in front of us. What we welcomed with contempt, we now treated with awe. The bumbler was more than a trickster; he was, to use TV terminology, the Mastermind. There is a vulnerability of bureaucrats that one must confront. Few dissent. Most who do, seek transfer, a different comfort zone, a move to Delhi. He who treats them with contempt, commands their awe, their allegiance. We want to please him, to share his power, his manliness, and his assertiveness. Power commands its own sacrament. There is a Masonic conviviality to closeness. Everyone knows the signs of power,” says another.

“There is something about tyranny that we must understand, its intelligence. It is — I hate to use the term — a learning system. And Modi is a sponge. He learns from the right people. Look at his dress. The colours are mellow. If you are sharp, you look beyond the dress, and sense the face. It has matured but grown younger. There is an obvious hair transplant. But even that comes like a Modi fable. He begins wearing a woollen cap. News is spread that he is under Ayurvedic treatment which demands that his head be covered for a while. Which Indian does not understand the strictures of Ayurveda? It is more ritualistic than a widowed mother-in-law,” says this perceptive government official.

“The Emergency taught tyrants a lesson. Economise on brutality. Optimise through fear and populism. Why openly coerce people when they are more than ready to be compliant,” says the bureaucrat, who admits “his enthusiasm for his quota may exceed even Modi's targets.”

“Tyranny is an art form. Have you watched the demolitions around the city? Modi erased 650 temples which were seen as illegal, civic or traffic obstructions. Despite all the publicity there was not an iota of protest, merely articulations of surprise.”

The panarchy of evil has shifted upscale from one organisation to a whole secretariat. It is now ready to roar into the capital city. His logic moves upscale, it is clear he is thinking of a megacity.

It is only as master of the megapolis that Modi will seek to become PM. Desire, growth, mobility within the framework of the city. The inventiveness of evil, outrages the power of goodness to understand or resist it.

We cling to bits like Ashis Nandy's classic piece on Modi as an exemplar fascist. But the pracharak has grown, reinvented himself. Even his misanthropy adds to his integrity as he distances his wife, brothers. An evil deodorised is now ready for the next move.

You don't just vote for Modi, you subscribe to him. The mask is an example. You become vociferous, miniature replications of him, as he watches benignly. It is a logic of power we are only beginning to understand, clinging to fragments of understanding as we, like Peanuts’ Linus blanket for a coming crisis.

We strive to distance him but demon-ologies are deceptive. Modi is us. We amplified ourselves to create him. The bureaucrat's response to Modi as a combination of fear and awe and a sneaky admiration, that is now an epidemic. As Modi moves to power, more people see in him, a message and a messiah of modern India. The trouble with fascism is that it is so seductive.

^Steady browning of pants. They just can't beat him and that has created a fearful awe in them (despite what they say in public), just look at how they just cant stop talking about him (in spite of the fact that it gives him more publicity).

It has always been the case of deracinated elites (like their owners) that they respect only power and those more powerful and formidable than themselves. Congis have already given up in their conscious mind, what little fight we see is just the reflexive thrashing of limbs by a drowning dog.

Their best hope is 2019, but they know what congis in Gujarat have to say about plans for the future and how they panned out for them post 2002.

The Nandas must have had the same thing to say about Chanakya/Chandragupta, in their death spasms.

^It could be just that. Maybe its a thrashing lizard's tail, detached from the body, misdirecting as the reptile escapes. The question is whether it is an escape for good (to far away shores) or is it just going into hiding, until things tide over. I favor the first, but who can tell for sure?

Barkha Dutt just repaid her debts that she owes to Arun Jaitley.

watch out her Teetar TL and interview with Captain. She hyped-up Tytler issue and protests followed but only this time knowing fully well that it will help AJ who was so far lagging behind Captain.

My doubts regarding AJ remains firm, anyone who is supported by Burkhas should never be trusted.

let's see how far AJ reaps benefit of the trap that Barkha laid for Captain.

May be burkha is trying her best to plant mistrust in the Team Modi? May be she is trying to lone modi in his government after elections. How and why should we form our opinion based on what burkha says? Here we may think what we like but I'm sure NM knows who's with him and who's against.

In us common masses, I've seen over last 2 years that many indics hindus-jainas etc. going to temples doing poojas etc sincerely. But politically they are somehow allergic to RSS, BJP or VHP completely; even more than those believing in ideologies from foreign.

They somehow always and always chose those who oppose PIF; be it aap or CoNparty - communists etc.

So in next 5 years we'll see john dayals and lefty intellectuals plus corrupt parts of MSM taking help of amreekan congress + nato nations + saudis to gather energy and resources for bianca vinci. bianca and maino will worry for raul's life as amrikans might sacrifice him to bring back strong dienasty rule on sympathy votes, hence the invitation to varun gandhi; so he comes back to congi fold and gets sacrificed.

Every small mistake (real or imaginary) will be blown up out of proportion and played continuously on tv. Trying to hypnotise the masses.

Around 14th or 15th I saw quite a few channels playing bianca's nukkad speeches continuously. They might have been checking how much their viewership increases to see her rosy face.

Like antonia had done rallies all over nation over coffin scam issue; she was waving some official letter in all these rallies abusing vajpayee and his govt.

On the other hand during upa regime, SS and AJ were so tamed by opus dei that inspite of 2gs, commonwealth, coal-gate they didn't do a single rally or even dharna. Just one token speech in rajya and lok sabha and their duties were over.

Hence I say the first thing, no matter how much opposition, the MSM rajdeep 56crore bunglow desai, burka radia dutt should be bombarded with raids of IT and cases piled on them. Same for hindustan times, rahul/rajiv bajaj company, jindals completely raided and squashed their business destroyed so in future the businessmen are warned to get too close to dienasty.

Also all the foreign funding of NGOs should be completely stopped. When the hue and cry is raised; NaMo uses it for Bharat's advantage, Shri Rajiv Malhotra is brought to all the debates along with Subramanian Swamy ji waving "Breaking India" and informing the public how 3 christian sekular presidents clinton-bush-obama have passed laws so all the amreekan aid flows only through christian churches. Wah subhaan allah.

Harsh Mandar and Shabnam Azmi arrested immediately for taking money from gulam nabi fai the isi man. In every debate question MSM "what proof they had against Sadhvi Pragya and Col. Purohit?"

Don't let any of these have peaceful and happy life, let them spend money and energy in courts and cases. While foreign funding is cut.

If these people are made to pay for their sins with cases and IT raids, they'll have no time and energy to rally behind bianca, and future turdpal-turddesai-burkhas will be warned off too.

Seeing the IT raids on likes of naresh chawla his children the buereaucrats will be warned off too.

Stripping of the wealth of chidumbrums-pawars-jagans will also weaken the congi forces also.

Anyway, porkis-cheenis-khan will be creating trouble on borders giving ammo to Imperium. We can't do much about them. So just go after their moles with vengeance. Weaken-wound-injure them so much that they've nowhere to rest and regroup.

But today's Burkha's well timed interview has damaged bulk of Captain's votes as Akalis have sieged this opportunity with protests.

Perhaps, AJ is the only politician in BJP for whom Burkha has gone out of the way to help. Usually such privileges were accorded to Dynasty and their secular minions.

That's why from now onwards BJP should start and undeclared policy that only CMs of state can be named PM candidates none of these dilli-billy operators.

Murli Manohar Joshi caught on tape, threatening Zee news people that "if you don't delete then you can't leave this room...... and MMJ himself deletes the interview (but forgets that the back camera is recording too.....)

Zee is indicating he spoke against NaMo.
