Isn't this the same dude who was charged in the badminton player Syed Modi murder case ? IIRC he was on the DL with the badminton player's wife. Seems like a typical congress thug with criminal mentality. I hope Narendra Modi will have nothing to do with this guy.

2)Sudhanshu mitral 54 - micro management
3)Ajay Singh Umra 48 - planning and implementation

All seem to be Delhi based .

People keep saying this Hooda guy is a Jat leader, since some of them in community have been involved in the recent Muzzafarnagar incidents. Why are thier no soundbites on the riots from this tall leader.

A day after Narendra Modi's statement on Sonia Gandhi, Congress spokesperson in Delhi -- Meem Afzal called Modi a "sick beast'. Turning up to the micro-blogging site Twitter, Afzal tweeted, "Only a beast in the disguise of a human can taunt over somebody's illness. It is evident that he is mentally sick." Afzal's criticism surfaced just hours after Modi's statement in which he taunted Congress President and her son Rahul Gandhi during an election campaign in Chhattisgarh.

Thanks that there is more discussion about Emergency 1975.

This has to be discussed day in and day out with resultant improvement in policing and hopefully eventually an independent policing. Also the 1984 sikh pogrom has to be brought to fore. India will not be diminished if the truth comes out. Innocent sikhs were garlanded with burning rubber tyres. Some of the men had their beards pulled out - skin and all. Even little kids were not spared. And what did the then PM-in-waiting-the-ever-secular-Rajiv_Gandhy do? Jaab bada ped girta hain - tab dharti hilti hain.

Here you go about the article:
Though the Emergency imposed by Indira Gandhi in 1975 is the stuff of a horror story and is remembered mostly as dark spot in Indian democracy’s history, little memory of what it actually meant on the ground is retained. It was a period that today’s connected modern Indian would at best call a nightmare, even as their understanding and perception of those bleak times remains nebulous. The Indira Gandhi-led Congress Government had not only placed bans and restrictions on the Press, several fundamental liberties had also been suspended in the name of ‘safeguarding’ national security.

Following are a few examples of what India was made to undergo during the Emergency of 1975-1976.

1. After the declaration of the Emergency, and up to January 1976, Indian citizens’ right to apply to courts for the enforcement of the following rights had been suspended:

» Article 14: Equality before law.

» Article 19: Right to freedom of speech.

» Article 21: Protection of life and property.

» Article 22: Protection against arrest and detention without being informed of the grounds for arrest.

2. Political prisoners were held under the preventive detention legislation MISA (Maintenance of Internal Security Act). The MISA however, was amended several times and grew steadily more draconian with each amendment.. {BTW, Laloo Prasad Yadav's daughter is named Misa after the act. Ironically, Laloo joined the CongI(s) and still is serving a jail sentence!}

» June 29: The first amendment to the Act removed the detainee’s right to be informed of his right to be informed of the grounds for his arrest. Detention could be extended beyond the initial 12-month period and independent reviews were replaced by a four-monthly Government review.

» July 16: The second amendment withdrew the right to appeal in court against detention and made it possible for the Government to apply criminal code procedures applying to absconders to persons wanted for arrest under MISA — namely political rivals.

» October 10: The third amendment made it an offence to disclose the grounds for detention to anyone, including the courts.

3. Though the then Union Minister of Information VC Shukla said on August 23 that the total number of arrests since the imposition of the Emergency did not exceed 10,000, reports by independent observers put the figure at 100,000.

Harrowing and incredible as it is, the above is merely the tip of the iceberg as far as the horrors of the Emergency are concerned. What followed will be covered in the next part.

The context for NM's remark was that 'madam' in the rallies of chhattisgadh blamed Raman Sing for not providing 24 hour bijli. In response to that Modi said there is not a single congi ruled state where 24 hour power comes so they have no right to talk about it. And then he challenged the dynasty and said, if madam is ill (so that she can't work that much hard), she can give power to her son and show us if they can provide 24 hour power to any state in India.

So in a way, he respected madam's illness and challenged her oh-so-young son to prove his mettle. And to that, congis and MSM started jumping and shouting saying he mocked SG's illness!! Congi says he is talking the language of animals!! Arnab in his show says, Modi is setting precedence to attack and abuse the 'family members' of a politician!!! Manish Tiwari says what if he starts abusing NM's mother tomorrow!!!!

Someone was right saying that tv debates should be avoided for the sake of healthy blood pressure.

The main reason for the anger on SS is the manner in which she tried to stop elivation of Modi in Goa. The entire party has become subject of redicule and she is proved to be out of touch with the workers who got tired on D4 softness on mafia. Her involvement in iron ore mafia deals, her and Anantha Kumar ( U Know he is a Telugu fellow) attacks on Yaddi and all their efforts to undermine him leading in loss in Karnataka state are there for everyone to see.

She lost Delhi to BJP for 15 years and now she will not be allow loss of national elections.

There is something seriously wrong with Arnab. He tries hard to be like Jermey Paxman who is a journalist on BBC and does grill politicians like there is no tomorrow for them. But at least he is fair. I have never seen Arnab's fair debates. Or may be my mind is very clouded. I remember reading a long time back that Arnab admired Paxman. He really needs to learn honest journalism. Just shouting that the nation wants to know is not of much help.

On a side note, how was Arnab propelled to the prime time show of the most watched news channel?

OT but, as far as I remember Arnab was with Times NOW from the time it started. They are the pioneers of the 8+1 window prime time verbal melee with extra high pitched masala, which propelled them to the top IMO.

Not a single word in the above is factual, and one has data in public space to show that the above is basically just a steam venting exercise.

This is no different from venting on BJP for Andhra division or other such made up straw-men to knock down to take out the frustration when things dont go the way we hope them to go.

The mood is severly anti-dynastry now. Modi is just harnessing that. We will see more and more attacks. The more the dynasty hides behind its paid body guards, the more the effect of these attacks will be. Basically these attacks will prove that it is indeed a United Paralysis Alliance which cannot respond to any attacks and hides behind words!

Just a note of caution. 2014 is long time away, and with a declared death threat against Modi any thing is possible. We should keep our fingers crossed and pray for a Modi victory. Not just for coming election but also for 2019 and 2024.

^^^ There's (of course) a method to Modi's madness...

By provoking daily outrages among the Cong spokies and their media sepoys, he's ensuring people start tuning them out and discounting them ('crying wolf too often').. so that when the real hardcore attacks come (sometime around Feb-March next yr) - on the neeyat, naseeyat, napunsakta (in the face of Pak-Chini aggression) and neetis of the dynasty - the Cong loudspeakers will blare onto deaf ears only...

Or so I hope...

The fact that Sahebzade is a nincom***p is well known to the entire nation is a major major weakness of mafia family. The myth of their leadership qualities, their lqualifications or lack of it and the evil deed/loots are all public now inspite of paid media and the so called opinion makers. Now it need to major cover up and fresh myths and cover ups at much bigger scale than earlier myths.

But social media and internet etc are major problems in that path. Loss of power in 2014 also creates a big problem and as MN is still 63 and can be good for another 20 years with a batch of leaders well educated etc in line in BJP to follow.

Immediately the problem is to cover the defeat in 4 state elections now. Mafia will find it difficult to recover. Sahenzade seem to have given up already and 2019 seems to the idea. Can be build a fight mafia gang by 2019 under an idiot like him? It has no vision, no leaders, no workers to build anything. But it is the establishment and as long as the establishment continue mafia will try to come back. NM has to completely destroy the establishment to prevent that.

He already started attacking myth of Nehru etc. So he is on the way even before coming to power.

Its "leaders" can not win even a corporater seat on their own. People loke Chiddu will not be in the next LokSabha. Even Kapil Sibbal may not be there for mafia. Who then fight the mafia battles in the house? Manish Tiwari?

If I am any street corner shehzada, I would do that, but if my connections run deeper than ocean and my $hit pile of money is taller than mountain, I would keep my dreams alive, people can get accidented or suicided you never know with the power I have, things can change. And they say power is the ultimate 'opium', not money, looks or knowledge. Who wants to leave that. Probably riches by Maino family may be richer than Bill gates, but what makes it important is not that money but the power it wields.
