Garwhal region is favouring BJP this time. I met a lot of people and most supported BJP. BJP flags and posters on houses and shops outnumber those of Congress by fair margin.

This morning, Rajdeep Turdesai tweeted "Have 3 of our best reporters on the ground in Amethi. We will track all complaints, report on evidence not hearsay."

I can't find that tweet now. I think he deleted it.

Now he has only one tweet up : "Election commission observer in Amethi tells us no evidence yet of booth capturing/rigging/voter intimidation. Will track @attorneybharti"

Something is black in the lentils, that's for damn sure.

My parents voted today in Haridwar for BJP. Its a BJP lehar. My father who is a staunch Congress supporter voted for BJP this time. He finally gave in to my years of Modi bhakti

I could not vote as am out of India and could not get leave. Will always regret not voting in these historic elections.

Mafia showing its real picture in Amethi today. Paid media shows its real picture by not showing anything from Amethi. The statement of Biyanka that each booth will give answer means they will capture each booth and make Rahul baba win by 99% votes.

Do not have much hopes. What modi's rally achived is the cost of victory went up drastically for confress. Rahul will win nonetheless. But post modi's rally a vote bought at paanch hajaar is now demanding pachchis hajaar rupaya.

A huge chunk of congi funds are burning up in this election. It may not be complete decimation of congress this time. But congress is severely depleted for funds. Most of what they looted in past ten years are now brought back and spent in India. Which is in a way good. It pumped in plenty of cash in india which was missing.

The coup d'gras will come hereafter. West too is now cash-strapped. All this will severely deplete the money wells of congis. Reminds me of a story of Samarth Ramdas. When he did 12 Gayatri-purashcharanas (one purashcharana is total 1crore gayatri japa from sunrise to noon for 12 months. He did this for 12 years at a stretch) he didn't get the darshana of Ramchandra. He gave up and toured India for few years. Then he did one more purashcharana and he attained enlightenment and saguna darshana of ramchandra. He asked prabhu, what was he doing for 12 years and why now he came in one year? Shriraama replied that in those 12 years Ramdas had burnt up all his sanchita karma. Thats when he gave up. And one more push was required when he gave up. And later when he gave that one more push, moksha was awaiting.

Even if modi does not make it, he would have severely bled the beast.

Hence I am cautioning against complacency in Varanasi. There is certqin respectable margin that namo is expected to win by. Winning like chiddu wont do good. Speaking of "maa bete ki sarkaar to gayi" type fait accomply statements by NaMo are ery counterproductive. I am curious whether muslim-indifference and dalit-saffronization patterns also seen in these two regions.

Isn't the whole point of staggered multi phase elections that security forces can be moved around the country? Then why weren't the central forces already present in Amethi from yesterday?

5 hours is enough to rig any contest. Hell, even one hour is enough to rig a close contest by shifting 2-3 percent of the votes.

As Andhra Pradesh’s crucial Seemandhra region goes to polls, the Gudivada assembly constituency in the Krishna district witnessed a rather peculiar protest on Wednesday. Crowds gathered not outside polling booths, but at several political party offices.

“Give us money and only then will we vote,” they demanded.

The protest started around 10 am with agitated voters arguing with party workers that there was “ selective treatment” as far as distribution of money was concerned. “Many others were given cash, but why were we left out,” asked the crowd of 50+ , who staged a dharna.

The charlatan tweeted yesterday that EVM rigging is not the real issue this elections, but cash to voters is. He was setting stage for not airing coverage of captured booths.
