http://www.bhaskar.com/article/ELEC-lok ... 8-PHO.html

According to Dainik Jagran, "in 2009 about 41 crores voters exercised their voting rights whereas in 2014 after 7th May Poll about 59.7 crore voters have exercised their rights" , approximately 19 crores more than last Parliamentary election.

For 503 seats voting % is 66.2. Overall %age was 64% in 1984 , highest ever, and is likely to be broken. In absolute terms it is a blockbuster General Election.

Election Commission informed that they had added about 10 crores new voters. Assuming that out of 10 crores about 80 % voted that still leaves about 11 crores existing voters who did not exercised their rights in last election and choose to exercise it in 2014.Now if anybody suggests to me that these voters moved their A$$e$ just to vote turd front or UPA-3 in power because of caste factor or blah blah..then I am left speechless.

“If Kumar Vishwas was from Modi’s side he would have won 100 percent. No questions,” says Kumar. And he’s the not the only person who says that in Amethi.

from what I had seen of this guy from his shows and poetry etc looked like a pro NaMo guy. He took the wrong bus to enter politics. He would have gone much further if he was in NaMo's team. A late entry from AAP to BJP as rumoured will not do him any good now.

Voting percentage among these sickulars always remain high, they consider voting as a religious activity. Not much of scope for a increase among these to show such a big bump in overall percentage, its the communals who are coming out and voting in high numbers in 2014.

I guess we can stop all the analysis: Congress will be back in 2014 with UPA3

Proof: The fact that Sonia Stooge Sampath has not even issued a notice to Rahul Gandhi for blatant violation of election rules (by rules, he should have been disqualified, forget a notice) and entering a booth where he is not a voter and standing next to the EVM machine is proof enough that, EC/Sonia/Sampath know that UPA3 is in order. They can only know that in 2 ways

1. IB has given then reports on the past 7 phases and said that Cong is doing well, (this option is ruled out)

2. They knew all the way that Voter rolls, EVM rigging, booth capturing and finally exchanging evm machines that have been stored for counting with fake ones will help Cong win.

The 2nd looks like a distinct probability. Look at the EC, they send notice to BJP leaders at the drop of a hat and they spared sonia for her communal appeal to voters, spared Rahul Gandhi for this blatant violation and they gave the worst excuses for the MH voter roll fiasco.

A govt agency will do all this only if they are sure that there will be no change in the ruling guard. Because if Namo comes to power, a panel can be setup and this whole EC cabal can be impeached and jailed.

I have given up, UPA3 is coming guys.

look it is very tough to fire or impeach a govt peon let alone a CEC who would be very senior.

how many bureaucrats have you seen being fired. at most I have seen being given useless postings or suspended worst case.

people who wanted to make money have made money. now they can easily go on long leave, study leave, or early retirement and join some think tank or take rest. they have nothing to fear from any govt change.

One more thing secular votte cannot cross 55%, don't be fooled by the Burkha clad women shown on TV, in some of fundamentalist areas of UP, women from minority are not allowed to vote, talk on cellphones etc.

Muraliji, if what you are saying is true, why is EC and Congress hell bent upon stopping Modi's rallies? Why bring him to task for minor issues? Why are files being burnt in the PMO office?

So as not to appear vindictive, I suppose. Or maybe snubbing Rajdeep at the same time by singling him out.

Well then. Good for them, I say. Perhaps then, it would be best to lock the thread lest people get carried away with dreams of a victory. Or perhaps, those who have given up can stop posting until the 16th and then come back with pride and say "I told you so!"

Sampath might well end up in jail for Coalgate. If he was not involved then Sonia would have given permission for his questioning by CBI. So, for survival, it makes sense to do everything possible against the NDA, irrespective of what the outcome seems to be like. If intentional, then he was very wisely chosen, else good bit of luck for Congress.
