Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections
NAMO should pick up the line "Securalists have stabbed the muslims from the back" a la "astin ka saap...". Better to vote for a known enemy than a hidden one! I think he is doing that as i see that he is tearing into % of urban muslim poors in Bihar and UP vs Gujrat!

Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections
BJD is saying that they will maintain equi-distance from BJP-Congress which really means that if BJP crosses 200 he is in. Kanimozi is saying that Amma must be stopped from becoming PM. So who is left with UPA for sure - RJD, SP and BSP. All others can provide support from outside and be part of NDA. The Varanashi seat is exposing it all as there are now active news of CONGI+SP+BSP putting up a common "fekular" candidate aganist NAMO. It has now completely become a presidential election with walk over from RAG!

NEW DELHI: In remarks that can stoke political controversy, AAP' s Amethi candidate Kumar Vishwas has said that given a choice between the Congress and BJP, he would prefer the latter. He also praised RSS for its discipline and even said that branding the Sangh as communal was the work of 'dissatisfied' Congressmen.
The AAP leader, who is facing a tough electoral battle against Congress' Rahul Gandhi and BJP's Smriti Irani, was responding to a question on AAP being accused of being "urban naxals".
"Referring to us as 'urban naxals' is like calling the Sangh communal. It is the work of dissatisfied Congressmen," he said.
In an interview to ABP news, Kumar Vishwas said if it came to choosing between Congress and BJP, he would prefer the latter. He said he had voted for the BJP five years ago years ago and praised RSS for its discipline. He even said India's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru had recognized Sangh's patriotism by inviting them to participate in the Republic Day parade after the war with China, and Sangh volunteers were recruited for manning traffic in Delhi during the 1965 war.
The party sought to distance itself from Kumar Vishwas's statement and offered no comment.

New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party expelled its founding member Ashwini Upadhyay on Sunday as it is alleged that he demanded Kumar Vishwas to replace Arvind Kejriwal as the organizer of the party.
He had been urging the party workers to demand leadership of another leader and he was prepared to go to Jantar- Mantar to protest.
Upadhyay had been involved in anti-party activities for quite a long time now. Earlier he termed Arvind Kejriwal as a 'liar' and a 'CIA agent' after being denied a ticket for 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
The Aam Aadmi Party’s convener Arvind Kejriwal has began to face criticism from even the members of his own party and the interesting part is that they want Kumar Vishwas to be the new organizer of the party instead of Kejriwal.
According to the sources, the Delhi party workers are going to assemble and discuss the matter on Sunday. After which they are expected to take their demand ahead and will protest at Jantar- Mantar.
The party members have never backed Vishwas truly; therefore, the growing demand of making him as the leader is shocking. Amid all this, it is also speculated that the distance between Vishwas and Kejriwal is widening day by day. It is learnt that they are not at the good terms currently as Vishwas is reportedly angry with Kejriwal.
While Kejriwal has promoted many leaders including actress Gul Panag, he didn’t go to Amethi to do the same for Vishwas. It was expected that considering the importance of Amethi. Kejriwal will surely take part in the poll campaign of Vishwas, who is contesting against Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi.
Vishwas noted the ignorance of Kejriwal and said that the latter had time to campaign for other candidates but couldn’t spare some time for Amethi. He recalled the time when he used to campaign for Kejriwal and added that he was the first person to support Kejriwal and urged people to vote for him.
The nation will begin to cast its vote from Monday and the disturbance within the party at such crucial time might cost a lot to Aap in the Lok Sabha elections.

Watching TV news reports around Delhi, the general consensus of the man on the street is that all other "secular" parties are saying Muslims must and will vote for them and by default the undecided Hindu voter is going to the BJP.

^^^Around UP it will.

In general, I agree with Murliraviji, but speaking to people in the northern Hindi speaking states, my guesstimate is >40% for BJP/Modi for popular vote share percentage. Another key factor is middle class voter turnout. If they come out - it will be a Modi landslide victory.

Very long elections schedule. Bigger states have elections on 5 separate days upto may12.
Plenty of scope for mischief at all levels. Evm will be stored for upto a month with unread votes.

its a tribute to the statesmanship of ABV that he reached out to mu.ka,yet mu ka who was unconfortable with 'creeping' hindutva walked out in early 2004 and the rest is history.People of Tamil Nadu should make leaders like Modi realize that they have no relevance in the state, he said. "Tamil Nadu as of now looks like a no man's political land where anyone could come and establish their clout. They should be taught a lesson. We should resist them like we did during the anti-Hindi struggle in the past," Karunanidhi, 89, told a large gathering of nearly 50,000 people.
DMK is the only option before the people of Tamil Nadu to be freed from political slavery and if this is not utilized properly then you will have no option but to face the consequences and this is my curse," said Karunanidhi, ending the speech on an emotional note.

BJP , like i said BJP is more active than before in TN this time , with vaiko, captain and all asking people to vote for modi

When you have to resort to regionalism, caste, ityadi... you know you have turned into a loser.
Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections
vaiko is very surprising , someone who always uses caste and ellam issue is actually asking people to vote for development, very sure he will back track and bring in the old issues

That's because pAAP is breaking up. They came, they conquered, they burnt up.. such is the legacy of the pAAPis. They aren't getting as much media coverage now, and INC has started to fight. In a few weeks, Kumar bakwas will probably ditch AAP and sing NaMo's praise. I hope BJP doesn't take him seriously when he does.Sonugn wrote:Cant believe that Kumar Bakwas is making pro RSS statements

If AAP wins 0 to 1 seats in national elections, a lot of rats will abandon the ship in droves. Some will stay till Dilli elections, but a bad performance there will just finish them off.
Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections
Paid Media were shouting and hoping every week that NaMo has already peaked but it turned out that the only one who peaked was Kejriwal and AAP, and they they jumped into the abyss.
The less promise they show the less money they'll get, and that is why losing momentum is really deadly for such a group.

Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections
The folks without ideology and wanting to make a career will leave. The ideological folks like assorted communists, socialists, naxalites, "social activists", "River Savers" etc will continue to stick on to AAP. It is too damaging for them to associate to congress since the name has taken a lot of beating. AAP is congress 2.0 without the relatively bad baggage. 24x7 open to anti-nationals.jamwal wrote:If AAP wins 0 to 1 seats in national elections, a lot of rats will abandon the ship in droves. Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections
Heh, this Vishwas is an arrogant clown who appears like the kind of opportunist who deserts a sinking ship when he no longer gets to strut around as #1 chamcha of the boss. Ilmi, this dude all fall in the same category. I bet the only jokers who Kejri keeps in good humor are Yadav and the Bhushan clique. Sisodia and Bharti for street cred and muscle power. All the rest are expendable. I bet even Ashutosh is expendable, he doesnt realize it yet.
Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections
He is planning to jump to BJP bandwagon -- has read writing on the wall about AAP. Plus Kejriwal is treating him like crap. Vishwas expects him to come to Amethi to campaign in his favour but has probably realized that Kejri is a Cong man and will never come to Amethi to campaign against family.Varuna wrote:Probably trying to divide Hindu votes so Shehzada can win.

Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections
a couple months ago, I went out on a limb and stated that BJP would win about 300 seats on its own while the pAAPis would win no more than 6.jamwal wrote:If AAP wins 0 to 1 seats in national elections, a lot of rats will abandon the ship in droves. I will still stick by those figure, but perhaps I should reduce AAP from 6 to a max of 3..

We need to keep an eye on the Vijay Bharat Rallies. Last ones were in Bijnor and Aligarh UP. NAMO is speaking about development, progress and employment. He is positive and the others are shouting secularism secularism. All sorts of crap is going to be coming out of Congress and the left.
