14 crores for prize money, each player will get 4.5 crores from bccI if they win.. well lots of motivation for Team India, but they are already very rich so Team India will loose onlee

From initial readings of the pitch SMG says there will be decent bounce but incl ashwin is better than sreesanth because there wont be as much assistance to the seamer as the spinner.

Both Sidhu and Gavaskar are pitching for Ashwin instead of Sreesanth. Saying it's a gamble to pick the pacer.

But MSD is always unpredictable.

Nehra broke his finger trying for a vital catch and diving forward. the ball bounced a few inches ahead of him and unlike Clarke he didnt claim it.

cant fault him for any part of that.

Here in SG, the DTH operators have exclusive rights for some hindi/cricket channels. As a result you are sure to miss no matter which operator you go for. Thousands of Starhub subscribers are missing worlcup telecast as the ESPN/STAR is with SingTel.

Saurav Ganguly reckons that the ball will seam around in the first ten overs. Won't be surprised if India go in with 3 seamers.

Turf is chemically treated to keep it dry from evening dew so batting or fielding 2nd shouldn't make much different--theoretically.
