I am catching this WC entirely on the net. I have found some unmentioneble sites deep in the dark underbelly of algore's invention. All I need now is a strong anti virus for protection. :)

Bhat, no one following?

Dhoni is hopefully getting back in form: 5 x 4s in an Oram over. 298/4 in 45. Raina followed it up by 3 x 6 in Oram.

Saar, no need to get excited over warm up matches. Dhoni consumed one century that fate had written in his account :(
The real fun will begin when once QF's start. I will come back to haunt you once you all would be indulging yourself cursing TI for crashing out.
Marten al no-shukri , I have no faith in Youngistan. I would rather have RD in the middle order and AK bowling in death overs.

So in the bowling department only our spinners will be able to win matches. Pacers like nehra, munaf and Sreesanth have nothing in them unless batsman makes a mistake. Hopefully Zaheer remains fit for the entire WC. I now realize how important Praveen Kumar is to our team composition. Wish he could have played.

^ More importantly lets hope we win the toss against stronger teams (if not always) for dew and pitch play an important role in the matches being hosted by BD and Srilanka.

So what does Dhoni do in the bowling department? Zak is in for sure. Who is the second seamer? Even the spin department has lots of good choices for a change: Bhajji, Chawla and Ashwin. Yuvraj is bowling well , and there is always Pathan. Do we go with 2 seam and 3 spin combo or 2 seam + 2 spin as is the traditional combination?

I would play 3 spinners in Bangladesh since they will prepare a spinning track.

Et tu Negi..Why burn the Messenger folks.

Poor moi doesn't deserve this (Can you test your rusted pitch forks and wrenches and stake's on Martin, like Dhoni is testing his teams skills before the actual party starts).
All I am doing is preparing you guys for eventual disappointment once climax is reached with KO stage of the WC. TI pays millions of $$$ for such advice.
Look at the result in last WC with almost the same team. We need 3 consecutive victories to lift this WC.
Pray tell me, from where they are coming ?

Neutral readers, See comments from Sumeet above.
We are dependent upon spinners heavily and only one of them is anywhere near world class in one day matches.
Except Zak and HS, rest all are lambs waiting to be slaughtered on a regular flat wicket.
Even expert like Sumeet doubts Zak's availability throught the WC. So at any point in time, we don't know When Zak, SRT or Yuvi will wake up and be sore.

Added Later: Even Negi is hoping for a favorable toss and conducive wicket..

Bah, have faith, hold the line... God delivers in mysterious ways. If everything was set in stone, we would have been invincibles like Aus/WI of old. No one is saying we are that, but we do have a fighting chance.

Methinks if it is a usual sub-continental pitch, TI will have to with 3 spinners and Zak. None of the other seamers give any hope. Only on TFTA tracks like Mohali, we could go with Zak+Sreesanth and 2 spinners.
Among other teams SA look really dangerous. The completely destroyed the echandee of the white pakis in the warm-up game. I only hope their rotten luck in WCs continues and we see yet another unbelievable episode that kicks them out of the tournament.

But that is true for any big team. We should reach the semis after that it is up to luck.
