Dhoni turned out to be master chankiyan. Saved his best for the crunch innings, put his hand up, promoted himself and delivered.A true captains knock

I violated all jinx and costume rules, and saw it live on big screen. No tension like reading scores off laptop screen and feeling blind to happenings, when you get to see it live. Even when Sehwag got out felt we would win onlee. The final six was a classic shot and expression from Dhoni.

Good job ! Only complaint was it was not as exciting to watch like years ago with a younger Sachin and Sehwag whacking Akhtar all around in WC matches. Dhoni gave some fireworks in the end to liven it up.

take that you unbelievers !! :P

I left the kamputar a while back and watched on TV while eating biriyani. must have done the trick since GG was the only wkt in that time.

humble apologies to all our players, munna and dhoni included, you guys have done us proud. it was a fantastic team effort !

and now it is perhaps time to acknowledge dhoni as the best Indian captain ever.

Cogratulation to all BRFites in this thread.

This thread like Team India, has become the Legend.

This thread needs to be preserved since history was created here with many jinx, anti-jinx, dhoti shivers and Lungi Dances.

priceless nugget from banglacricket: :rotfl:

It will be a great thing that Sachin will finally win a world cup, what wont be great is that someone like Sreesanth will be a world cup winner, something that Allan Donald, Shoaib Akhtar and Curtly Ambrose werent.

50 years from now you will see some Keralite kids swearing in online forums that Sreesanth was a much better bowler tham Ambrose: "he vun ya vurld kup yat least"
