from Raman Singh's interview about Binayak Sen
Shekhar Gupta: Are you convinced that the case against Binayak Sen was genuine? There is an immense interest in the case—among NGOs, even foreign governments. Is there any missionary angle involved here? How crucial is this connection?

Two things are clear in his case. As a doctor, no one knew Sen in Chhattisgarh. He did move around in forests with a stethoscope. I provide treatment to 2 lakh children, replace their valves free of cost.

Second, during the last two years, no one from Chhattisgarh has led a protest in any town, village or city. These protesters came from outside—they would come in aeroplanes, wearing good clothes and perfume. No one recognised that these well-dressed people were coming from France and London.

The Chhattisgarh government may have arrested a big personality (Sen), but I would ask people why didn’t any of these NGOs visit the state when over 2,000 people were killed (in Naxal attacks)? How can these double standards continue? A person is in jail and the entire world comes to Chhattisgarh and sheds tears, but there is not a single word against those who carry on this violence.

(Sen) has links with NGOs that work in Chhattisgarh. His close links with missionaries are well known.

Anther Heroic deed which is shunted to back pages of the work done by "poor starving Tribals" who enjoy EU, Delhi based NGO's and Media Barons support.

People like Justice Katju etc. never ask the Perpetrators champions of world Human rights should ever be sent to the Gallows

Naxals gun down AP Rayons’ DGM
A month ago, they extorted money from the DGM, claiming it was for party fund. "The Naxals were going to hand over the extorted money to their boss when the special police party arrested them and seized Rs 5 lakh. PPG top brass believes that the DGM informed police about the movement of the two Naxals," the sources said.
Again what noble activity done by "Poor starving Tribals" whom Liberal Western Democracies support along with thier allied NGO's.

Sonia mafia plays this double game all the time. One way Govt says it fights naxals. At the same time Rahil baba supports naxal cause. Diggi Raja attacks Hazare and Sonia says she does not like it. The main aim is th build an image of left of center to Rahul baba. How for left of center we can see with Sen treatment.

In the dark

The Chief Secretary of Chhattisgarh phoned the Secretary, Planning Commission, Sudha Pillai, to confirm whether reports that Binayak Sen, who has been charged with sedition by the Chhattisgarh government, had indeed been included in the Planning Commission’s steering committee for health in the 12th Plan. Pillai expressed ignorance of the appointment. Her husband, home secretary G K Pillai, was also in the dark. The Home Ministry had to speak to deputy chairperson of Planning Commission Montek Singh Ahluwallia for a confirmation. Planning Commission member Syeda Hameed acknowledges that it was her personal decision to include Sen.

The appointment of Binayak Sen to the Planning Commission is really eggegious - a complete dimwit job..But If Raman Singh wants to fight naxalism, he needs to concentrate on the nitty gritties on an efective CI strategy rather than belabouring upon the point with all and sundry in Delhi..

7 CRPF men killed in C'garh in landmine blast..

Security forces are being picked off in the same manner as they were 5 years back...Binayak Sen inside jail, outside jail, Salwa Judum supported by Centre, not supported by Centre - none of that has made a difference...In absence of a robust CI strategy and capacity building, political rhetoric by itself cannot win an insurgency war..

It doesn't take much to write a letter. If Delhi is confused enough to be hand in glove with the Maoists, it would explain why Delhi's agencies like CRPF are not being upgraded and are being kept ineffective.

CRPF ineffective?! Its the same force that is responsible for CI and security in all urban areas in Kashmir!

Besides, most importantly, Centre only provides troops - the grunt workers..Deployment patterns, logistics, tactics et al - the brains and heart of CI - are the responsibility of the state govt...Its also surprising that the C'garh govt has done so little in the last 7-8 years to augment policing capacities, in case it feels CRPF is "inadequate"...

This is from wiki.So FWIW on the history of APCCCR

Andhra Pradesh Coordination Committee of Communist Revolutionaries
APCCCR was affiliated to the All India Coordination Committee of Communist Revolutionaries (AICCCR), but the group got expelled due to political differences. APCCCR advocated a mass line, whereas AICCCR denounced work in trade unions as "economism". APCCCR saw the issue of participating or boycotting elections as a tactical issue, whereas AICCCR saw as a strategic one. AICCCR accused APCCCR of lack of loyalty towards the Communist Party of China.

Yes CRPF is effective in URBAN areas, but is woeful in forests and there is a world of difference between the two. The centre is primarily responsible for sending CRPF personnel untrained in jungle warfare into the naxal zones. Not only Chhattisgarh but in all other naxal affected states the CRPF is suffering losses, simply because they dont know how to operate in forests.

Naxal commander surrenders in Chhattisgarh http://www.thehindu.com/news/states/oth ... 037878.ece
A Naxal ‘commander’ active in Chhattisgarh’s Rajnandgaon district has surrendered to the police, officials said on Saturday.

The Maoist, identified as Ravi alias Ganeshu, was a Naxal ‘commander’ and member of the district’s Area Committee, R.K. Vij, Inspector General of Police (Durg range), said.

Ravi, who gave himself up in the IG office on Friday, came in contact with Naxals in 2004 and joined the movement, he said.

He told the police that although the Naxal leaders are fighting in the name of people of Chhattisgarh, all important decision are taken by Maoists in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh, the IG said.

Ravi decided to surrender after being getting disillusioned with the Naxal leadership, Mr. Vij said.

He will be rehabilitated as per the Government policies, the police officer added
Why would top maoists shift their residence to AP?
Becoz congress party runs AP.
congress party loyalist harsh mander's NGO provides safe haven for maoists in orissa
congress party attacks police stations and frees arrested maoists in gujarat
congress party invited convicted maoist seditionists into the planning commission, so maoists terrorist agenda is now the official congress party agenda

I have enormous respect for Tejinder Pal singh. One look at his FB or Orkut profile makes it clear how much he loves his motherland. Not only that, he does so much. This is not the first A.Roy party he has crashed. He was also there in the India Today function where Gilani was present too. In fact, he was the guy who hurled shoes at Gilani there.

To give a befitting reply to these communists of maoist caste, all top maoists in police custody should be tortured and executed one at a time till maoists promise to agree on humanitarian treatment of prisoners and non defiling of human remains. Since congress party at the centre is in an alliance with maoists, state governments should take the lead in implementing Teach-the-Maoist-pigs-some-manners abhiyaan

So now even Maoist copying of Islamist practices of treating prisoners - is to be blamed on Chattisgarh governments' strategy - perhaps the hated "Salwa Judum"? If Maoist brutality increases when the clamour aginst Salwa Judum increases and goes down if "Salwa Judum" is "contracted" under various forms of "intellectual" and "judicial" activism, does it not show a consistent pattern that voices are activated in tune with Maoists and "Centre-Left" to put pressure on common political enemies?

The blood of the CRPF men should be on the hands and the mouths of these voices which try to use Maoist standard practice to serve their own underlying political agenda. Or is it the cynical Sadism found in common in the Centre-Left that shows?

Maoists have long taken up the practice of ceremonially slitting throats. At the time this slogan first appeared in WB, it appeared "innocent". But over the last decade or so, the patterns of Maoist executions have taken on a uncanny convergence of methods with standard Islamist practices. Combined with the Maoists singular hatred on "saffron" and never any targeting of Islamists or EJ's, it could indicate an extensive funding/supply network connected to the latter.

Here are some excerpts supposedly from CPI(Maoist). Even if we consider that it is possible
(1) it was written by an agitprop from ISI
(2) it was written by an agitprop from one of the agencies of PRC
(3) it is an invention by CIA psy-ops
such possibilities still do not negate the general thinking in people who use the Maoist meme for whatever purposes they have in mind, that Maoists necessarily have to look upon Jihadists as kind of "allies".

CPI(Maoist) on UBL
The arm-twisting and coercing of Pakistan government by the US ‘to get its cooperation’ in its so-called war on terror ever since the NATO attack on Afghanistan in 2001 has been increasing with each passing day and Pakistan has become a extended backyard of US in this war. This operation is just the most glaring instance of the rampage of the belligerent bully as this is but in continuation of the numerous unchallenged interventions by it in Pakistan, especially in the past decade. The kowtowing of the Pakistan’s comprador rulers is so complete that even after such an offensive action, the Pakistan government is not even unequivocally condemning the attack done leaving to wind all international norms.
[...]
Al Qaeda was inflated as the monster behind every terrorist attack in an attempt to justify all kinds of atrocities on Muslims. [...]The juggernaut of War on Terror continues to run amok among the Muslim populations crushing millions under its feet.It has been proven many times in history that killing one leader can never end an organization without eliminating the root causes, which are imperialist super exploitation, oppression, intervention and insult in this case, which gave birth to it in the first place. The deep anger and frustration of the Muslim people against the imperialists, particularly the US imperialists and Zionist Israel is finding expression in many ways and Al Qaeda is one of them.[...] Some of the methods employed by organizations like Al Qaeda in their fight against imperialism are harming the ordinary citizens and deserve to be condemned when lives of innocents are lost. But we should not take them out of context and see them as the acts of some mindless people who ‘just hate America’ as the US government wants its citizens to believe. If there were no imperialist interventions and wars of occupation then there would be no Al Qaeda. If there were no slaughterers like Bushes and Obamas there would be no Osamas. [yes, conveniently suppress the fact that Osama was in alliance with the same imperialists to start with and he launched his career against another "communist" entity]
[...]
CPI (Maoist) calls upon the people of the world to condemn the brutal murder of Osama Bin Laden by the US imperialists. It demands that all kinds of attacks on Muslims in the name of ‘War on Terror’ be stopped immediately.

CPI (Maoist) particularly calls upon the people of South-Asia to raise their voices against the brutality of the NATO forces led by the US in Afghanistan and Pakistan and demand their withdrawal immediately. Support the struggles of Pakistani people against the attacks of US imperialists on their soil and their struggle for freedom from imperialist coercion and intervention.

Let us realize that US imperialism is the No.1 enemy of the world people threatening world peace, sovereignty of the third world countries and their progress. Let us fight back the imperialists and their compradors in our countries for a life free of exploitation and oppression, for a life to be lived with dignity and raised heads.

Maoist mayhem rises as states fail to coordinate

The lack of intelligence sharing and co-ordination is now hurting us on all fronts . First we have J & K CM and Army differing on infiltration, sending wrong list to TSP, expired warrant fiasco by CBI, delay in NATGRID because no ministry wants Home ministry to be "big brother and now it's getting our men killed in forests by a bunch of glorified dacoits.

Administration has got to pull up it's socks sometime !!

What has all of this to do with Binayak Sen?

Besides being a hotbed for Maoist activities, Chhattisgarh state has also been the site of persistent Christian protests for its anti conversion stand. The CM of Chhattisgarh, Mr. Raman Singh had this to say recently, regarding protests against Binayak Sen’s arrest, “…during the last two years, no one from Chhattisgarh has led a protest in any town, village or city. These protesters came from outside—they would come in aeroplanes, wearing good clothes and perfume. No one recognized that these well-dressed people were coming from France and London. … (Sen) has links with NGOs that work in Chhattisgarh. His close links with missionaries are well known.”

Thus one wonders whether the support of Dr Sen especially from international personnel and organization has anything to do with his association with NGOs, Christians and missionaries.

While Dr Sen has been convicted for his role in pro Maoist activities and while even Church leaders admit that Maoists are sympathetic to the Church and are supporting the priests in carrying out their missionary activities, we are not aware of any direct association between Dr Sen and evangelical or missionary activities though there are ample evidences to suggest that there is a huge Christian backing for him.

Incidentally, Binayak Sen and his wife have an NGO outfit called Rupantar, which reportedly harbored Maoist employees and had bank accounts worth Rs. 4 million without tax returns.

According to his wife, Binayak Sen is associated with Indian Social Institute (ISI) that claims to be engaged in strengthening the people’s movements particularly from among the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, the most Backward Castes, the Minorities, the unorganized and landless laborers and women and incidentally its governing body board members are almost exclusively Christians by name.

Of further interest are news of Christian leaders distressed over conviction of Dr Sen, of the solidarity expressed by The National Council of (Protestant) Churches in India (NCCI) against his conviction, and of the vigor with which his news are published on websites that specialize in Christian prosecution.

In their organized protest including a letter to the PM, representatives of the Delhi Christian community actually compared the ‘situation’ of Binayak Sen to that of Jesus Christ himself and blamed, in a blanket statement, that Human rights defenders are being targeted, and silenced, by all sorts of forces – from sections of the judiciary, administration and police on the one hand to political extremists on the other hand.

One wonders why the Christians leaders are so specifically concerned for Dr Sen?

In this context, it is curious that the first recipient of the South Korean Gwangju Prize for Human Rights award, which Dr Sen got in 2011, was a similar militant and Jesuit activist from Indonesia, who was instrumental in carving out the new Christian country of East Timor with Western aid.

Boss that is the Standard Template of all Leftists in India. They go for Higher education in the West, Implement or try of Implement Agenda's of west ( example: History Textbooks in India, India -Pakistan dialogue etc). Lest thier agenda gets exposed a token Anti-americanism is kept so that they are not branded as western Slaves..

This for show only for Internal Indian Audience so that these people don't associate these people with 'LIBERAL WESTERN DEMOCRACIES'.

Case in Point: Notice when push comes to shove all these Leftists easily obtain western or Arab visas and notice how easily get thier citizenship there. This is no coincidence.

"I am neither a supporter or opposer of Naxals" says Binayak Sen

It is interesting how our leftist 'intellectuals' such as Binayak and Arundhati are allowed to get away with such self serving ambiguous statements when patriotic folks are grilled by our clever journalists...

I dont expect yellow propaganda puppets of Stalinist rapist goons and Maoist throat slitters to ask inconvenient questions to Binayak but was there no patriotic, pro-India journalist in the group that could not ask Binayak the following questions?

Q: Oh Mr. Binayak we are so thrilled by your Gandhian approach to such matters...you neither hate nor support...how great you are...can you kindly tell us is that your approach to other issues as well, for example, can we say you neither support nor oppose Salwa Judum? After all they are pretty much same as Naxals, going by your opinion, after all?

Expected A: Oh NO! I am totally opposed to Salwa Judum. They should be disbanded immediately! They are killers!

Q: Thanks very much Mr. Sen...can we say you take similar neither support nor oppose stand on economic matters? Are you neither a supporter of economic liberalisation and end of state monopoly or opposed to them?

A: Of course not! I am totally opposed to privatisation because that is why our country is so corrupt!

Q: How would you reconcile that with the fact that some of the most corrupt and ruthlessly anti-people staff can be found in public sector and in state monopolises like BSNL/IA/PUBs/RTO etc. etc? Be that as it may, can you please clarify if you are neither a supporter nor a opponent of Bajrang Dal and VHP? Your kind Gandhian love and affection surely extends to them?

A: Dont be silly! I am totally opposed to communal Sangh parivar!

Q: Great..can we then assume that you are opposed to communal IM/SIMI/MEM and others?

A: Well, there is the subjective and then there is the objective...we should consider the underprivileged background, the trauma of Pakistan and so on.. Well we have to weigh all the evidence and not treat anyone as bad unless any particular member of that organisation has been convicted of crime...in such case we should serve them biriyani in prison and treat them well..we should try and understand and be nice to them..

Then of course, it will become very very clear whether Binayak is the pure as driven snow love-all character or simply a charlatan supporter of the rapist goons, butchers, beijing puppets and mass murderers..giving a too clever by half reply to questions that do not suit him, knowing fully well that the yellows will not challenge him.

Dont expect our yellow media to do that anytime soon..

After reading that Guardian piece, I kind of feel sorry for her almost. Not sure exactly why. The Moss guy did a good job actually.

This is a woman of self-bounded intellect, who likes to view things in absolute terms and tends to hold an instinctive ant-establishment view - none of which are faults in themselves, until you take it upon yourself to challenge the present order while proposing solutions that are borderline utopian fantasy, and you leverage the pulpit provided by the very kind of material success you detest to promote them. Surely, she does not expect that people simply fall under her thrall and receive her pronouncements as if she was the goddess of the big picture!

Dunna Kesava Rao (aka) Azad surrendered recently. Aide of Sabyasabchi Panda and no. 2 in the Orissa Maoist unit. Seems like a big catch. Claims to have had orders from the very top on assassinating Swami Laxmananda Saraswati. Anything else floating around on this chap?

Top of which of the pyramids? The Maoist "gana shakti" one or the capital's "Jana shakti" one?
