Kashmir.
The people of Kashmir have been deprived of their ‘right of self determination’ and their struggle, now has reached a point of decision. It cannot be ignored any more, as President Obama preferred to, under the Indian pressure. It is no more a back-burner issue, because, after the exit of the occupation forces from Afghanistan, Kashmiris struggle for freedom will heat-up and may well explode into the Indian face. If we fail to find a political solution soon enough, peace in South Asia, will remain hostage to Kashmir.
The old man writes like the nincompoop that he is - but there are some mild piskologically interesting points. The man can't be serious if he can write this and think that the gaping holes in his story will not be picked out
Pakistan earned the distinction of being the ‘Most Allied Ally’ and the ‘Non-NATO Ally,’ and also enjoyed the blessings of strategic partnership
..hmm. The man speaks of the alliance as an "honor" or "distinction". See the piskology here? You see, if I ally with you and if yo are "honored by that it is is already a slave-master relationship. You, the dog, is "honored" by me, the master caling you an ally and unless you obey - you will be punished. This is hardly a give and take relationship and the senile general admits that in the first paragraph. So why complain when they got buggered?
Pakistan would definitely help, provided the terms of engagement are clearly defined,
The terms were always clearly defined.
Necessarily, the new terms of engagement must lead to an enduring strategic partnership, founded upon an ‘institutionalised mutual cooperation mechanism,’ to secure regional stability and a stable and prosperous future for Pakistan.
I can't stop laughing. "Make Pakistan rich" is what the man says to the Americans!
Sovereign Equality. There must be respect and realisation of sovereignty of Pakistan, which has been wanting since 1960,
LOL!
The man begs for equality when Pakistan has willingly assumed the position of a slave or the pasive partner in a homosexual relationship and has not done its job
Pakistanis, as a nation do not relish hegemony,
OK Ok fine so what's the soultion? It's right there in the next para..
Now the Americans want to establish Indian hegemony over the region, from Afghanistan to Sri Lanka and reduce Pakistan to a client state. This will never happen, because the Pakistani people love freedom,
There Pakistani will remain free - so what's the problem? American may want to impose Martian hegemony on Pakistan,. but so long as Pakistanis don't accept it why worry?
Simply follow the Chinese example, who do not meddle into the internal affairs of others,
The man is senile alright
an exit from Afghanistan has to be carried out, on the basis of three principles: One. It is the winner, the Taliban, who must be allowed to lay down the terms for peace in Afghanistan. Two. The neighbouring countries, particularly Pakistan that has suffered the most, as a result of foreign aggression in Afghanistan, must be on-board, to workout the mechanism for transfer of power, and reconstruction of Afghanistan.
This entire article is exactly how some recent American article summed up the way Pakis talk to Americans. I wish I could find that now - not the Teresita Schaffer one - some other one.
