I don't understand this hatred for Anant Kumar here. What did he do? Play politics inside BJP? Heck, even Yediyurappa did more of that (including throwing chairs at party MLAs disagreeing with him)! Anant was guarding his turf, and he played vicious politics in that regard.
If Anantha Kumar wins, it will be due to the Modi effect and not entirely on his own strength. Are we justifying working against party interest here? If AK did nothing wrong by opposing Namo for PM, then so did SS or Advani.

Sushma is a trouble. She has been pampered by Sonia with a view to encourage her ambition there by stopping Modi. Ambition is not wrong but taking enemy's help to fight internal battle is wrong, wrong, wrong. She also suspected to have a deal on Telangana

The big business types in this proposed regime are bigger extremists who will create long term sustainability problems for the nation.
Short term view of an India with roads and Infrastructure at the expense of our forests, water, mountains and way of life is not desirable.
We need Maneka and we need an empowered Maneka who can say no especially in face of the mercantile invasion.

Oh the irony of it. All that ranting and raving and dharmic this and that , which frankly reeks of counting chickens before they are hatched, mind you there might be a slip between the cup and the lip, is sweet reasonableness and objective, but Maneka's activism for the environment and animal rights is of course extremism and ideology!

Touché.

The old adage holds true here. Keep you friends close, but your enemies closer. All the people who are being talked about negatively will get posts, lets hope they are not important. The big challenges in the short run I feal are Home, Economy and Defence. As long as they don't' come evenly remotely closer to any of these,we should be fine.

The dirty tricks of congies are predictable. You can rest assured that the communal community is well aware of the predilections of the secular ones. They will be adequately prepared, for any conflagration.

The secular crowd can at this time try to be tactically brilliant like they were during muzaffnagar. But they will not gain any real lasting advantage. Not with Modi as the PM of the nation.

Well I have made a bet, and we will see soon enough. (btw, Sushma S was on tv just now looking very happy after her meeting with other top brass)

Meanwhile, since I am making predictions, let me say this, no scapegoats and excuses will be needed in 2019.

Meanwhile people are well advised to do analysis of reality of India and why BJP lost 2004/9 rather than tilt at windmills.

yaar, abhi result aana baaki hai. Lets wait. Congress waale itne bade moorkh nahi hai. They may have something up their sleeves. We may see BJP in UP at 35 and in Bihar at 15. So some salami slicing here and there may bring them down below 200. Lets not jump now.
