I think Swamy, A.Shouri, MJA etc should be asked to work on UCC and making a nationwide discussion sessions (in schools, villages etc) and prepare nation for UCC by 2016-17.

^^hanumadu,
Absolutely! Modi is too smart to dive into a controversial issues (370, Ram temple etc) right at the beginning, and without thinking. He will earn the trust of the public (of all hues) by focusing on issues that affects everyone first. Development, infrastructure. He should reduce the space of internal saboteurs (D4 and the likes), "liberalists", "secularists", "experts" and other RNIs, in the media and elsewhere. They will be desperately waiting for him to make one false step, to pounce on him and finish him off. He has to make his position strong and work towards re-election from the very beginning. Hopefully succession planning is also in his mind.

On a lighter note
Today, ND Tiwari got married at the age of 88. After which, the priest and all the elders arounds sought the blessings of the bridegroom.

Like the rajni dialogue "naan solrathu thaan seivaen. Sayyarathu thaan solvaen" (do what I say, say what I do) - modi has been clear on what his priorities will be. Getting the economy back on track and clear policy decisions pending due to policy paralysis.

Don't expect action on potentially controversial social actions in the first year.

This song never fails to inspire me.
Ignore the stupid visuals of the movie. Just close your eyes and imagine that you are watching the Mahabharata war and Shri Krishna counseling Arjuna.

Okay, folks, where are you watching the results? On TV? On Internet? Where? If you have specific channels/websites, please do mention.

Folks, does DISH in maasa telecast live news today (15th night)? Should I get a nap for an hour or so is the question. I am cajoling my mind to think 200 is a good number.

Systematic destruction of dienasty must be implemented by a Gita style Nishkamakarma. Without passion, without emotion, without softening the stand. Let today be the day it begins. Har Har Mahadev! Jai Sri Krishna!

If you are around New York, the results will be broadcast live from TimesSquare. I am called to talk on RadiaZindagi at 9.30EST. I don't know what I will talk with all the tension :).

I find this exhilarating. No dhoti shiver for me. If things don't go according to plan, I'll worry about it then. Why this anticipatory worry? I don't understand..

Muppalla Saar, you will do fine.

Btw, there is a radiozindagi app for iPhone. Folks please tune in, if possible. Far better to hear one of our own than the news traders.

Do a NaMo mantra and mention BRF and their polls as well.

I am an avid listener of radio zindagi so 6:30 PST will be the time you will be on show. Good.

What a day! A child from a humble, impoverished family, discovers India, his own potential, and God, destiny pick him to lead a billion of his fellow citizens. And despite all the attacks at him, he is undaunted. Incredible man and truly, a reawakening of this country if he comes in as our PM.

I watched Yudh in BB Cantt (Srinigar) at the 15 Corps HQ...that brought back memories...

I don't drink nor smoke but know how to pray (Aditya Hridayam, Purusha Suktam, Mantra Pusham, Durha Suktam etc. by heart) and curse in multiple languages fluently...

I am in 2 minds right now as there are Mantrams that cannot be chanted at night...so I guess I will fall back on Gayatri Mantram.

I guess it is Gayatri MAntram to show the way and Hanuman Chalisa for strength and fearlessness!!!

Stressed out and stretched out....
