Dissolve Delhi Assembly and go for new polls ASAP.
Swat this AK-49 and his anti-National team when the Iron is hot.
Close all doors on him for now and future.

Doesn't matter. At this point no one else matters. The trends so far are beyond everyone's wildest optimistic hopes. India has probably it's most effective mandate ever , due to the combination of a comprehensive electoral mandate AND a capable leader with a developmental vision. I don't think the nation's been this galvanized and hopeful since 1951.
:(( :(( :(( Saar,
the results are on expected lines(my expectations). I had said that lotus can get 272 on own. And people thought I was a fool. Long time back(in 2011 atleast) I was saying that NaMo could become PM and at that time people were similarly flabbergasted.(At that time, there were still differences between NaMo and RSS, so some people were saying that RSS will never allow an OBC to become PM. Well,...)

I think people take the present conditions too seriously. Its all maayaa. Anything is possible anytime.

(Of course, I was wrong on T prediction. I thought T would never materialize, but I proved wrong)

----
BTW, there is a bigger lesson here: It is only Hindhuthva(or hindhuism) that actually helps all castes. And Hindhuthva + development is the winning formula.

Now, there are no excuses for the lotus to not implement all that it has promised in manifesto.

Sir ... Amma has been pounding at Chennai for some time now ... for past 2/3 assembly elections - ADMK has been winning many assembly seats that come under Chennai Central & North LS seats ... but those LS seats were always elusive (but for Chennai South in 2009). Now entire Chennai LS seats group has fallen to ADMK (fighting in a Standalone mode) for first time in the history of TN elections ... not even 'great' MGR could do what AMMA has done. But importantly BJP/NDA @ centre is safe and AMMA has lost that battle where she might have been whimsical & been a pain in the ass of the party ruling at the centre. So in a way Chennai has ceased to be a DMK strong hold since last couple of elections.

Whichever astrologer (and there were many top guys) had predicted with absolute conviction that BJP would never ever get more than 272 in any LS election --- they ran big articles in the jyotish websites on these lines based on the starting time of the BJP party --- would need to pipe down and issue a correction in where & how they went wrong.

IndiaTV is reporting 44 to NDA and 4 for UPA in Maharashtra. Incredible. I'm sure Atri will have a lot to say about that.

BJP state CMs have delivered on their tasks. NaMo himself returned 26/26 in Guj, Raje returned all sears in Rajasthan, and SSC has done a stellar job in Maharashtra, as well as Raman Singh in CG.

Historian Ramachandra Guha observed that Communism couldn't capitalize (oops!) and grow in India, and is facing disappearance, because of:

(1) Indian people's deep attachment to parliamentary democracy,
(2) the Party's failure to embrace Indian nationalism, and
(3) an Indian culture that distrusts dogma of any kind.

The BJP didn't even do a good job as opposition party, so it needs to really work on (1).

On (2), the BJP scores high.

On (3), Hindutva-vadis need to be careful. This is the time that Hindutva needs to diversify and develop different variants tailored to different regional ecologies in India (for the different river-valley sub-cultures, from GV to Brahmaputra to Kaveri). Hindutva needs to be able to occupy both sides of the aisle in the near future. Any kind of glorified hardening of "Hindutva" ideology or a throwback to a "purer" goal will NOT be wise...

I think this is very good sign.

In order to reduce chinese influence and increase Indian influence, Modi should suggest that they build a bridge called "Nava Ram Setu" or locally called "Jaya Raja Modi" - Names of three leaders... :) also means Victory to King Modi!

Phack. I cant believe what happened in TN. DMK got Zilch ? BJP got one and Congress Zilch ? Brilliant show by Amma. Great performance by Didi in Bengal as well.

Unfortunately for them, Modi has swept the election and has no use for Didi and Amma. Now Didi is left totally without any influence and is really going to be splendid isolation. Amma and Modi will make up and will have a good working relationship.

Spectacular performance by BJP. I know everyone was angry with Congress (for eg,even someone like me advocated throwing out the UPA), but I never imagined that they would have gotten steam rolled and ground into the dust like this. So Modi's "Congress Mukt Bharat" has probably come true, but I am not sure if it is a good thing.

It was important to throw out the UPA and that has been done. Now whether we have voted in something that is a devil or angel will be known only in due course. Atleast the UPA had the fig leaf of "compulsion of coalition politics" to hide under. BJP has none now. It has a majority of it's own. So no excuses for any failures . Lets hope Modi does the right things and takes the country forward towards prosperity, peace and plenty.

The mood is summed up by -my 89 year old grandmother voted after discussing with my minor son. That is the extent of the wave. She had trouble finding the BJP symbol and asked the electoral officer where is kamala and everyone laughed while he was blushing! :rotfl:

Both ladies are difficult to work with. They are strong personalities and NaMo is even stronger, so I'm not very hopeful of a merry and permanent partnership with either.
But yes like I've said before, whenever NaMo needs 2/3rd majority in house for Constitutional amendment, he'll require help. Amma can give issue based support from outside.
