Madarsa roasting for police chief

Burdwan, Oct. 12: A National Investigation Agency team today spent nearly eight hours searching the madarsa in Burdwan’s Shimulia village where the two women arrested after the October 2 blast allegedly studied and later taught.

An NIA media release later said the madarsa was “where the accused were radicalised in violent jehadi ideology”.

The 4pm-11.45pm search threw up a 600gm packet of an unknown powder, a photo of a man, a notebook with names and phone numbers, a gramophone disc, and books in Arabic and Urdu, one of whose titles translated as “Easy Ways to Die”.

“It’s too early to say whether a suicide squad for the Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh was being built in the madarsa,” an NIA officer said.

Inspector-general S.K. Singh, the NIA team leader, was heard rapping Burdwan police chief S.M.H. Meerza about his force’s failure to gather much information about the madarsa, lying abandoned since it came into the focus of investigations on October 6.

“How can your police be completely in the dark about this suspicious place? Have you seen the madarsa’s location? I find it very strange that local police had no information,” Singh told Meerza.

An NIA officer later explained Singh’s point about the “strategic” location of the madarsa, which hadn’t been searched till today.

“It’s not visible from the only road that connects the village to the Burdwan-Katwa Road. It stands in one corner of the village, visible only from the narrow mud track beside it.”

He added: “We found plenty of clothes, both men’s and women’s. Many people seem to have been living here.”

Singh and NIA superintendent Vikram Khalate arrived with their team and Meerza at the madarsa, around 40km from Burdwan town, about 4pm. Initially, NIA officers spoke of a “nightlong” search.

“We’ll scan the place thoroughly. There are huge trunks in the rooms: we’ll have to break them open. Forensic officials will collect samples from here,” an officer said.

Sometime later, another officer said: “We’ve found a notebook containing the names and numbers of Sheikh Aribul, Sheikh Arif and Yakub Sheikh. Yakub’s name is just under a Sheikh Yusuf’s — we’ll see if they are the same man.”

Sources said two ponds near the madarsa might be drained and inspected. The NIA team videotaped the search.

Another NIA team visited the blast site in Khagragarh on Burdwan town’s outskirts, accompanied by central forensic officials.

Oct. 12: Birbhum’s Kirnahar, a dusty village nestled in one corner of the district, had become the den of members of the Burdwan terror module suspected to be behind the October 2 blast, a revelation that has surprised investigators.

Intelligence officers said they were “stumped” because Birbhum had no past record of terror-related activities and did not share its border with Bangladesh, from where many extremists are believed to have sneaked into Bengal.

Police sources said several blast case suspects, including those who ferried bombs made by the Burdwan terror module to the Bangladesh border, used to stay in Kirnahar. Kausar Ali, one of the prime suspects who used to pay the terror module and take bombs from them, his wife Jinnatun and brother-in-law Kodor Sheikh stayed in Kirnahar, where President Pranab Mukherjee’s ancestral home is located, for a considerable period.

Kodor and his aide Sheikh Kajal, a bomb courier, have houses in the village. Another blast suspect, Sheikh Habibur, who stayed along with his wife in a house Kausar had rented in Burdwan, also hails from Kirnahar.

The sources said the module members often met in Kirnahar, where bombs were brought before being ferried to the Bangladesh border through Murshidabad. “Kirnahar was used as a safe haven from where the terror network was controlled,” a home department official said.

Police sources said the terror module in Burdwan, 37km from Kirnahar, had zeroed in on the Birbhum village for at least four reasons

Kirnahar is part of Nanoor block, where the political situation has been volatile for more than a decade. Outsiders allegedly frequent Nanoor to make crude bombs for political clashes with the patronage of parties

It is easy to reach Murshidabad, which shares its border with Bangladesh, from Kirnahar through at least three routes. There is no police vigil on any of the roads

Intelligence surveillance on Birbhum was not intense

Kirnahar’s proximity to Burdwan, where the blast-hit bomb-making unit is located.

A police officer said: “After the murder of 11 Trinamul supporters by suspected CPM workers in Nanoor in 2000, the area turned into a battlefield. Political activists clash repeatedly in the area and in the past 14 years, at least 100 people have been killed.”

Trinamul won the Nanoor Assembly seat, a red bastion for decades, in the 2011 elections.

“But the situation did not change. There is virtually no Opposition in Nanoor. But two factions of the ruling party, one led by loyalists of Birbhum Trinamul chief Anubrata Mondal and the other by local leader Kajal Sheikh, often clash with each other. The demand for bombs and firearms is still high in Nanoor,” a senior police officer in Birbhum said.

“Political leaders allegedly bring in people with expertise in making bombs and firearms from Kuli and Beldanga in Murshidabad. Because of the backing of a section of leaders, the local police could not do anything,” the officer added.

State intelligence branch reports reveal that even though outsiders have been frequenting Nanoor for over a decade, the district police never kept a tab on them.

“The lack of monitoring helped the terror module members to use Kirnahar as a base,” a CID officer said.

Intelligence officers said one of the three routes used by the module members to reach Murshidabad was the 31km stretch between Kirnahar and Kandi via Laghata bridge in Birbhum.

“There is an alternative route, but it’s a bit longer. The module members used to reach Kandi (in Murshidabad) via Labhpur. This stretch is 40km. The third route was Kirnahar-Khargram (Murshidabad) via Nanoor town. This is a 50km stretch. The module members mostly used the first two routes,” the CID officer said.

“They avoided the roads that lead to Moregram in Murshidabad via Nalhati (Birbhum) and Kandi via Sainthia (also in Birbhum) because there are police check posts on the stretches,” the officer added.

The home department official said Burdwan and Birbhum were never brought under strong security surveillance as the districts did not have international borders.

“The module members selected the two districts to stay under the police radar,” he added.

Looks like all districts in West Bengal need police surveillance.

The story so far is:

Terrorists from Bangla Desh used existing TMC infrastructure to make bombs to use in Bangladesh.

If you read the above two stories you can see there is a lot of coordination by terrorists and hoodwinking by local police going on.

Local police put out the sotry that it was a gas cylinder blast and kept the other police out.
Meanwhile the inmates were destroying evidence
later police carried away incriminating material in handbags.

Most district police prides itself on knowing everything going on in their area.
State intelligence Branch and CID had no idea.....
Add to that every district has a Central IB officer.

So multiple failures in the monitoring system or told to look other way.

The new anti-left-wing extremism (LWE) policy being finalized by home minister Rajnath Singh proposes to enhance the deployment of central forces like CRPF from the current level of 92,000 troops and 9,000 Cobra battalion personnel and induct newly-raised battalions into anti-Maoist operations.

Around 60% of the 1 lakh central armed police forces (CAPFs) manning the LWE-affected areas are stationed in Bastar and adjoining areas of Malkangiri, Gadchiroli etc. The lion's share of the newly-raised battalions of CRPF, sources in the home ministry told TOI on Monday, too will be deployed in this stronghold.

"Maoist activity has been on the downtrend after peaking in 2010. On the other hand, the deployment of troops in the counter-Naxalite grid has grown from around 30,000 in 2004, when People's War and MCC merged to form CPI (Maoist), to nearly 1,00,000 at present," a senior home ministry official said, adding that the strategy now is to push back the Maoists further by enhancing central force deployment in their strongholds.

This will run parallel to stepped up efforts to effect Maoist surrenders, particularly in Bastar where 221 Maoists laid down arms until October 8 this year, as against just 11 until May-end.

According to sources, the new anti-LWE policy seeks greater coordination among the affected states, particularly Bihar and Jharkhand which are seen as less stern with Naxalites, through sustained dialogue and persuasive effort. The idea is to avoid confrontation and work towards enlisting the cooperation of not only the political leadership but also the ground-level administration, said an official. Inter-state coordination is seen as the key to blocking Naxalites' escape routes.

Another key feature of Rajnath Singh's anti-Naxalite approach is the proposal to bring the Integrated Action Plan (IAP) under the Union home ministry. IAP, wherein Rs 30 crore each is given to 88 badly-hit districts and disbursed for development works by a committee comprising district magistrate, SP and district forest officer, is currently administered by the Planning Commission, which is about to be wound up. "Since the home ministry has been involved in formulation and evolution of the scheme, it is best suited to administer it," said an official.

The new anti-LWE policy also seeks to create "social sector services hubs" in around 100-125 blocks across 23 worst-affected districts, wherein facilities like schools, hospitals, vocational training institutes etc will be concentrated. This will reverse the current practice of spreading these services thin, which has met with limited success as few government staff like teachers and medical workers are willing to work in Naxalite-infested interiors.

Another key reform on the anvil is fortification of not just the approved 400 police stations but an additional 250 police stations across the worst-hit districts.

Bardhaman blast: Arms, IED training clues found in madrassa

BARDHAMAN/KOLKATA: An orange Nano car found near the Simulia madrassa — that allegedly served as a terror training centre — sprung a surprise on the NIA team investigating the Bardhaman blast on Monday. Officers wonder how state police had missed the car, with an Indian Army sticker on the front windshield, for so long although it was parked barely 100 metres from the mud-hut madrassa.

What's even mysterious is the reason why police did not — or could not — take any action. Police say the first clue they got about the Simulia madrassa was on October 6, four days after the Khagragarh blast. Senior police officers said that they immediately informed Nabanna (the Bengal secretariat) about the car and sought permission to raid the madrassa, but they did not get the go-ahead from the home department. Police were apparently told to wait because the case was sensitive and the information reached cops on the day of a religious festival.

When NIA sleuths entered the madrassa on Monday, they found chilling evidence that it was used for arms and IED training. Air gun cartridges, glass bottles tied with chords for use as targets, and pellets embedded in the mud walls gave proof of target practice. There were bundles of optical fibre, electrical equipment and a lot of chemicals found in three rooms. NIA also seized a Sigma table clock, whose circuit could be used as a timer in an IED, say sources.

Pamphlets and literature in Arabic and Urdu and bows and arrows were found along with tiffin boxes and 14 large tin trunks.

Villagers say the Nano was used by Yousuf and Borhan Sheikh, both of whom are absconding. NIA officers have come to know that alleged hit squad members Amina Bibi and Razia Bibi often traveled to Simulia along with other women for training.

The terror module used the Army sticker — an Artillery Regiment VIP pass and 'Army' on the windshield in red letters — knowing that the Panagarh military base was nearby and police would be reluctant to check such a car, said a police officer.

Malda, Oct. 13: Crude bombs stocked in the house of a Trinamul leader went off in a Malda village close to the Bangladesh border yesterday, barely a week after an accidental blast in the same district injured three persons.

The explosions have happened at a time the National Investigation Agency (NIA) is probing a blast in Burdwan that has thrown up links with the Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh.

Police in Malda said it was too early to speak of any Bangla link in the blast yesterday evening but as Bajeyaptipara village was just 10km from the international border, and given what had happened in Burdwan, all angles would be probed.

The village is 40km from Malda town. The police have arrested Islamatara Biwi, wife of Kamal Sheikh in whose house the low-intensity explosives were stored. Local Trinamul leaders have said that Kamal, who is absconding, was a Trinamul leader.

On October 5, crude bombs had exploded at a mango orchard in Narendrapur village of Englishbazar police station. The police said the crude bombs that were made with cricket balls and were stuffed in small steel containers were supposed to be smuggled into Bangladesh.

“Terrorist outfits and radical organisations in Bangladesh use such low-intensity bombs to create panic in crowded places. There are chances that these bombs are smuggled into Bangladesh,” an intelligence officer had said after the October 5 blast.

After yesterday’s blast, the police are exploring all these factors.

west bengal has long tradition of political activists/goons using crude bombs to intimidate and scare people off, or cover their escape. even in BD there was a single day when some astonishing number like 300 crude bombs were thrown a few years ago.

but it seems to have graduated in hooking into naxal and BD terror networks.

I think president's rule is only going to benefit Mamata who will play the victim card like the erstwhile CPI-M's "kendrer chokranto" and "kendrer bonchona" (conspiracy of the center, deprivation by the center) which kept them in power. The best thing to do is to take the investigations to their logical conclusions where the TMC appears to be enmeshed in anti-national and corrupt activities and then let the people of WB decide. Ground reports suggest that the tide is turning in WB. May take a decade for decisive shift. But Bengalies gave the left 34 years - so cannot be said for sure how long it will take. BTW, Birbhum and Burdwan are the new destination of Bdeshi illegals after overwhelming Murshidabad, Maldah and Uttar Dinajpur apart from north and south 24 parganas. Hindus are heading for minority status in a decade or two along eastern WB across the north-south axis.

Calcutta, Oct. 15: The alleged Calcutta procurer of the chemicals found in the Burdwan blast house has been identified by investigators as a diligent graduate who got married this year and was keen to improve his career prospects by learning English.

Amjad Ali Seikh, 26, hails from Birbhum’s Kirnahar but moved to the outskirts of Calcutta after landing a job at a medical equipment manufacturing company in Shakespeare Sarani in 2009, according to sources in the National Investigation Agency (NIA).

Investigators have searched Amjad’s home in Kirnahar and detained his aged father — who has since been released — but the youth has not been found so far.

The investigators feel that it was Amjad who had bought chemicals from a shop in Shakespeare Sarani, which were later stockpiled at the Burdwan house where a bomb exploded and killed two persons on October 2. The Telegraph had reported on Wednesday that the chemical cache had been traced to Calcutta.

Like many other employees of the medical equipment maker, Amjad stayed at the manufacturing unit at Mollargate in South 24-Parganas, sources said.

“Amjad was introduced to his employers by a security guard working there. He was smart enough to rise through the ranks and he worked both for the marketing and the administrative wings. He also convinced his employers to allow him to undergo a crash course on selling of pharmaceutical products,” said an investigator.

The officer said that Amjad, nicknamed Kajol, was an avid learner and aspired to excel in the English language. “His colleagues said he was very keen to learn English. But even with his speaking skills in Bengali, he could handle clients well,” the officer added.

Investigators claimed to have found evidence that suggests the young man had been procuring chemicals from at least two chemical shops — one in Shakespeare Sarani and the other in Metiabruz for the past six months.

The investigators have learnt that Amjad had graduated from Sambhu Nath College in Birbhum’s Labhpur in 2009 and pursued an MA course from Burdwan University through distance learning.

He had taken a loan from his office earlier this year when he got married and was in the process of repaying it.

“The company officials have told us that Amjad came across as a nice, hardworking young man from rural Bengal who was keen to excel in the profession. They never had any reasons to be suspicious about him,” said an officer.

“He would sometimes place an order for chemicals and laboratory apparatus using the address of his office headquarters. Sometimes, he would place an online order using his personal email ID,” the investigator said.

Officials of the company, which makes surgical accessories, have pleaded ignorance about the orders placed in its name.

“What use do nitric acid or a glass beaker, which are used in a chemistry lab, find in our factory? We have no idea why Amjad had placed these orders and asked them to be delivered at our Mollargate unit address,” the investigator quoted one of the company officials as saying.

So far, the investigators have not found any evidence of the use of the chemicals in the medical equipment company.

At the Mollargate manufacturing unit, the investigators have found a packed carton allegedly left behind by Amjad before the unit closed down for the Durga Puja holidays on September 30. The box had papers listing lab equipment and chemicals, photographs and clothes.

“He was last seen at the Mollargate unit on September 30. He did not turn up when the workplace opened on October 8. Later, when the unit was searched, we found some documents and photographs that showed him with his family,” said an officer.

It was found during the investigation that the buyer of the chemicals had used one particular mobile number for contacting the chemical company.

“The number we got from the chemical company, though registered in the name of the owner of the medical equipment manufacturing company, led us to Amjad. We learnt that the employers had left the phone for the use of the employees at the Mollargate manufacturing unit. We were told Amjad was using the phone,” said an officer.

Although a visiting card that referred to Kausar Ali, a key accused in the blast case, as an agent of the medical equipment company was found in Burdwan, the firm has said it has no such agent and the card might have been forged.

Calcutta, Oct. 15: The everyday but graceless act of scribbling a phone number on a palm and then a vigorous attempt to rub it off have provided a vital lead to investigators probing the Burdwan blast.

While interrogating Abdul Hakim, who survived the October 2 explosion with injuries and is now in SSKM hospital in Calcutta, a Bengal police officer noticed that the suspect was trying to rub his left palm with his right thumb as if his skin was itching.

Scribbled on the palm was a mobile number (96096*****). The number was found to be that of Reza-ul-Karim, a suspect who is absconding.

“The number matched the last one dialled from Hakim’s wife Alima Bibi’s cellphone minutes after the blast. That more or less established that the Hakim family and Karim had links,” said an investigator who requested anonymity. Alima Bibi is now in custody.

The account of the investigators could not be independently verified.

The investigators said call records of the number helped them identify more possible operatives. Officers of the National Investigation Agency (NIA), which has taken over the probe amid allegations of evidence tampering by Burdwan police, applauded the local police for spotting the palm-scrawled number and pursuing the lead.

“It is a big thing to unearth so many leads from one contact. Analysing these numbers could be of great help to the investigation,” said an NIA officer.

The police raided Karim’s home in Burdwan’s Badshahi Road — not too far from the blast-hit Khagragarh flat and the Baburbag address of Kausar Ali, another key operative of the terror module — but he had fled by then.

“Using the data sourced through the number, we are getting more details about the extent to which the terror network had spread and the operatives of the module,” a source said. “Karim is absconding but we are getting more information by analysing his call records.”

Hakim, who started “co-operating” after allegedly insisting for 48 hours that “I have no faith in the Indian police”, has told the investigators how the number was scribbled on his palm.

“Karim’s number was saved in the mobile phone of Shakil Ahmed (one of the two persons who died in the Burdwan blast). But Hakim told us that they were trained to destroy all traces of evidence if anything went wrong…. That day, soon after the blast, Alima and Gulshan set out to destroy evidence, starting with Shakil’s phone. At the same time, they needed help to get out of the place,” an investigator recounted, based on information provided by Hakim.

Hakim apparently told the investigators that before destroying Shakil’s phone, Alima had read out Karim’s number and told Hakim to call him for help.

“I couldn’t see any piece of paper and I jotted down the number on my palm in a hurry. Then I called Karim on Alima’s phone, informing him of the blast and seeking urgent help,” the investigator quoted Hakim as saying.

Karim, instead of coming to help, probably sniffed danger and fled from his house.

When the police reached the Burdwan flat where the bomb exploded, they found Shakil’s half-burnt phone and two intact phones of Alima and Gulshan Bibi, the wife of Shakil who died in the blast.

The investigators could not find the phones of either Hakim or Subhan Mondal, the second casualty of the explosion. It is suspected that the phones were either damaged in the blast or deliberately destroyed.

Investigators trailing the number on Hakim’s palm initially stumbled upon an address at Bhutbagan of Raghunathpur in Murshidabad but found no trace of Karim.

The call records showed that “30 calls were exchanged between Karim’s number and another number in Raghunathgunge (a locality in Murshidabad but different from Raghunathpur). The holder of the number turned out to be Karim’s wife. The tower location suggested that Karim was calling her from Burdwan’s Badshahi Road”, the investigator said.

It is on the basis of this information that a raid was carried out at Badshahi and it was established that Karim had stayed at a house there before fleeing. The investigator clarified that Karim’s wife is not a suspect in the case.

Investigators said Karim’s number was also used to make at least 32 calls to a number belonging to one Rahman Sahadur of Taranagar in Lalbagh and several calls to one Nasir.

“We are looking for these people as they may help us unearth more details,” said an officer.

Hakim, who had been quizzed by both the state and central agencies on the hospital bed, reportedly said he had met Shakil at the Shimulia madarsa where he went for a job after passing Madhyamik from his hometown at Mohammad Bazar area in Birbhum. At the madarsa, he met Alima.

“Shakil would frequent the madarsa for reasons that Hakim claimed he did not know at that time…. Later, he was offered a job at Shakil’s tailoring shop at Baduapara in Beldanga, where he shifted with Alima,” said an investigator.

It was there that Hakim’s indoctrination had begun.

“Hakim claimed that he was given training to make explosives,” the officer added.

09:58 Police rule out terror link after bomb explodes in West Bengal: Three people have been injured in a crude bomb blast in the Malda district of West Bengal. The bomb went off when it was being removed in a hurry during a police raid. The incident comes close on the heels of the unearthing of a terror module in Burdwan. However, the police say this was one of the local criminal incidents in the area. They say it come out of a long standing tussle between two families.

Who builds crude bomb for family rivalry? And why were they running from the police if it was a one off weapon that could be easily hidden? Hope we're not fooling ourselves into sweeping things under the carpet.

Why does the police in every case have to give away such tips from phone numbers on hands to saving drafts in emails for comms, basically give away everytging the other side may have done wrong. Indian enforcement leaks like a sieve.

If this is true start investigation at all those offices that issued these docs. Find the official involved and give out severe punishment. ALL docs issues by ALL such centers should immediately be placed in the suspect list and a a FULL background check should be initiated.

We dont know how many were successful because of lack of "blowing themselves up". Unfortunately in such cases the biggest breaks come from the low level people doing their investigations, as they are much more in tune with the politics and in the know about the troublemakers in the area where these things originated. However, in this case, they are actively supporting the abduls by wiping out evidence.

Didi and TMC are playing a dangerous game by actively working against what is clearly an Indian interest. This is not good given the situation in north east. Why do we get such jaichands at critical parts in critical times of our history is beyond me. What in our Karma makes us deserve this

Now I think with the MH and HR election done, the focus will shift to WB. In a way it is better that all this has happened now. It gives NDA a reason to push in NIA, CBI, IB, MI, ED, IT and all other assorted GOI arms into WB on a massive scale. Bring in outside expertise to scan through Ration card, Voterid, PAN card, Driving licenses, Savings a/c. Hopefully BSF will empowered on the WB borders now.

You know for all its weakness, Aadhar can be turned around and used to weed out the outsiders if there is a will. Once you have weeded out the imposters and linked all Gov subsidies to it, none of the outsiders will be able to benefit. That in itself will create a barrier to entry for outsiders who will have none of the benefits and yet will have to compete with locals who get them.

Multi-city, multiple attacks on India “more than a possibility”: NSG - PTI

The country’s elite counter-terror force NSG on Thursday said global terror outfits like ISIS and al-Qaeda joining hands to launch and perpetrate a “multi-city multiple attack” on India “is more than a possibility”.

The Director General (DG) of the ‘black cat’ commandos force J N Choudhury said “it is more than a possibility” now that these terror groups may find “allies” in similar organisations like Harkat-ul-Mujahideen, Jaish-e-Mohammad, Indian Mujahideen and Lashkar-e-Taiba which already have a presence and activity in India.

“Now that they (international terror outfits like al-Qaeda) have declared their intention of attacking India {The al-Zawahiri video was found to be fake and the suspicion is it was done by the ISI to fob off its own future attacks as carried out by AQIS. This is a reversal of its tactic. In the beginning, the ISI operated under the 'plausible deniability' regime. Since c. 2001, it felt emboldened and did not bother at all not to leave its signature in terror strikes against us, whether it was Kashmir, Kabul, Herat, Mumbai etc. Now, it may be going back to its earlier doctrine. For the terror groups like AQ & IS too, cooperation with the TTP, JeM, LeT etc would come naturally as they all subscribe to the same worldview anyway. It does not matter to us whether the attacks come from AQIS, ISIS or ISI}, they will obviously align with known groups that we have (active in the country). Whether it is Laskhar (Lashkar-e-Taiba), Jaish (Jaish-e-Mohammad), Harkat (Harkat-ul-Mujahideen) or IM (Indian Mujahideen).

“So the apprehension we have is that if they do have a combined kind of strategy or combined operations, we have to prepared and be alert if a combined (terrorist) group takes action. Then there is a threat and possibility of a multi-city multiple attacks. That is what we are preparing for and hence we are also working with anti-terrorist forces and state police forces (in this context),” the National Security Guard DG told reporters in Manesar.

He was speaking on the occasion of the 30th Raising Day of the force that was set up in 1984 for special combat tasks.

Mr. Choudhury said he remembers from his earlier stint in the Intelligence Bureau that al-Qaeda operatives had done a “reconnisance of Goa, Bangalore and Amritsar” about a decade ago.

“This (recce of vulnerable spots in India) is not a new thing for al-Qaeda,” the NSG chief said adding they looked at Goa as it was visited by a number of foreign and domestic tourists.

60 illegal Bangladesh immigrants nabbed

BSF personnel were in for a shock when in just five days they nabbed 60 illegal Bangladeshi immigrants with documents proving their Indian citizenship even before crossing over.

The documents include ration cards, voter identity cards, PAN cards, driving licenses, savings accounts details, and even affidavit papers signed by executive magistrates swearing Indian citizenship. The BSF has increased its vigil in the bordering districts of West Bengal after the Burdwan blast.

A team of BSF’s intelligence wing approached state officials to inquire as to how the immigrants managed to get the identification documents even before coming to India.

The stuff going off on auto-detonation shows they are using unsafe low explosives which are set off by friction. I think the stuff is getting shifted due to the news about Burdwan incident and in the process is going off and revealing all sorts of hidden players. TMC leaders are stockpiling explosives in their own homes!!!
These TMC leaders can be booked under Indian Arms Act which prohibits possession of explosives without a permit.

The aadhar database is completely corrupted because of many jehadi elements who were used by contractors to enter data into the database.

No verification was done of the documents provided with the result that many of the first movers in the aadhar line were "minorities" who always rush the system in every case of any such govt scheme opening up.

How are you going to weed out anyone at all?? The purpose of the scheme looked like it was only to provide cover to such visitors from across the borders.

BTW, any peep out of nandan nilekani??? or is he still sulking from the bad beating and defeat he was handed during the elections

It shows nexus is running deep and fast. Time is running out on this time bomb. if it is not defused when we still have some time, it will explode with unimaginable ferocity in our face. Muraliravi is warning on this as well as others. WB Govt needs to be put on watch list as well for its role in all this and terror links. First thing Central agencies need to do it to handover this particular case to NIA to probe as international terror link and who all were involved in issuing such documents be booked under stringent laws.

Another task is to bring tough laws on terror else agencies would be stymied by judiciary.
