There is a PhD thesis on the origins of the Mukhabarat/Intelligence agency of Islamist regimes all the way to Muhammad and his intel agency.
And that owes its origins to Abraham and his goon squad.

MoD plan to train Libyan troops in Britain falls apart after spate of sexual assaults
The Ministry of Defence is facing demands to explain the unravelling of a training programme for Libyan armed forces which has led to 300 soldiers being sent home early amid allegations of sex attacks and ill discipline.

...
The decision follows the charging of five of the Libyan military personnel with a spate of sex attacks in Cambridge, including the rape of a 20-year-old man 10 days ago.

Two men have pleaded guilty to a separate sexual assault which a court heard involved them stealing bikes to cycle 16 miles from the barracks into the university city before indecently assaulting women in the centre by groping them and trying to put their hands up their skirts.
I think the West Asians should be allowed to sensitize the bruteshits about their culture then these complains will vanish.

after these offenses they have promptly applied for UK asylum :rotfl:
http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-camb ... e-29894732

The internationally recognised government has been forced to operate from the far eastern city of Tobruk after hostile forces took control of the capital Tripoli in July.
:rotfl:

Disciplinary problems came to light after Libyan cadets Ibrahim Naji El Maarfi, 20, and Mohammed Abdalsalam, 27, appeared at Cambridge Magistrates' Court last week and admitted two counts of sexual assault. They are awaiting sentencing.
Khaled El Azibi, 18, has been charged with three counts of sexual assault linked to the same incident but has yet to enter a plea.
Last night, Moktar Ali Saad Mahmoud, 33, and Ibrahim Abogutila, 22, were charged with rape.
......................

Chairman of Bassingbourn Parish Council Peter Robinson said villagers living near the base would react to the Libyans' departure "with joy".
In a film clip on YouTube, Mr Robinson said: "The main problem has been the escapees and the fear that it's put into people.
"I have had ladies tell me they don't want to walk their dogs any more. There have been people who have come out of their house and have discovered Libyans hiding under their car.
"It doesn't give someone the feeling of safety and then following the allegations of what happened in Cambridge, it has made people's fears all the worse."

^^Not likely GD for it to happen in that manner exactly... Rather, Turkey is itself likely to transform, little by little - this has been happening for decades now. It will become a "version" of ISIL; remember it is the "original" Caliphate. The Turkish military, too, in time, will transform. Already, it is clear they are using ISIL for their tactical benefit. When what we consider blowback happens, it won't be blowback because many Turks will themselves see possibilities for a future in the Islamic way. Only the "westernised" elite will whine, but many of them too will simply change clothes. This is what Erdogan has been setting the stage for.

As you are implying, this is not a bad thing. When someone is busy doing inner jihad, we need move out of the way, and facilitate them even, providing lubricant whenever applicable; see how successful that approach has been with Pakistan.

Erdogan Decorates $615 Million Palace as Presidency Cost Surges
The palace, which was constructed against court orders in a national park, shows Erdogan’s “increasing sense of being above the country he governs and the rule of law,” Yesilada said by phone. “Whoever criticizes Erdogan and the ruling elite’s behavior is labeled a betrayer of the nation.”
...........
The new presidential pad, the AK Saray, or White Palace -- a play on the name of Turkey’s ruling AK Party -- was also designed, in part, by Erdogan. It has 1,000 rooms, green granite inlays, and washrooms with silk wallpaper,
..........
The palace’s floor area of 289,000 square meters (3.1 million square feet)
Meanwhile Caliph's new palace is ready and it reflects grandeur of Caliph and its future empire. If ISIS creates a theological state, then Arap princes and kings must move their wealth to Kaffir's hinterlands

Sooner or later (perhaps already) The Caliphate of Erdogan will become the most militarily powerful nation in the Mid-east - second only to *****. And that will set the stage for the bring-down. However, the way things stand, the Caliphate is part of NATO, where "an attack on one is an attack on all". Interesting situation, and this is why, I think, KSA is facilitating the rise of the Caliphate inside NATO, even with the risk it poses to KSA.

How is ***** going to manage the exit of the Caliphate from NATO?

Mmh. So I ask again: Which govt is everyone supporting?

A failed state. How many more does the west propose to do? IMO, there are a few of the nation states which just need a small nudge to fail... and looks like the west seems like a willing participant in most of MENA.

Families stranded and not able to get out of Sinjar now facing genocide and slavery. ISIL bandits have put up traps around the Sinjar mountain, like packs of hynas. Peshmarga/PKK forces not able to break it from outside and Sinjar defense forces are not able to break it from inside. I think these are the families who have been running across the mountain for months now and who could not make use of, or were not aware of, earlier human corridor out of Sinjar - that US/PKK provided by breaking the earlier siege. Although winter is to come late this time, this is going to be impossible still for these families to make it as winter is now setting in and rains too make it impossible without shelter. From what I read, few Yezidi women have thrown themselves over the edge, ie committed suicide, instead of being captured alive.

Source says reported letter from Obama to Ayatollah ‘f***s up everything'
foxnews.com | Nov 6th 2014

President Obama reportedly penned a secret letter to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei last month discussing their shared interest in fighting the Islamic State -- a development one congressional source told Fox News "f***s up everything."

The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday that, according to people briefed on the letter, Obama wrote to Khamenei in the middle of last month and stressed that any cooperation on dealing with the Islamic State, or ISIS, was tied to Iran striking a deal over its nuclear program. The U.S., Iran and other negotiators are facing a Nov. 24 deadline for such a deal.

A senior congressional source told Fox News that there is not anything definitive as to whether the letter even exists. But the source indicated they don't doubt that it's true because "we've seen [the president] do it before, so there is [a] precedent."

According to the Journal, Obama has written to Khamenei four times now since taking office.

The congressional source told Fox News that the letter would upset the inroads they've tried to make with "the Sunni league," noting that the president should have informed Congress of this back-channel if it was in fact going on.

"This f***s up everything,"
:rotfl: the source said.

Iran's government is Shiite-led, while the Islamic State is a Sunni terror group. The source was apparently referring to efforts to rally support among Sunni-led Arab states to confront ISIS.

Republican Sens. John McCain of Arizona and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina issued a joint statement Thursday night saying it was "outrageous that, while the cries of moderate Syrian forces for greater U.S. assistance fall on deaf ears in the White House, President Obama is apparently urging Ayatollah Khamenei to join the fight against ISIS."

Asked about the reported letter, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest would not confirm the report.

"I'm not in a position to discuss private correspondence between the president and any world leader," he said.

However, he said the U.S. policy toward Iran "remains unchanged."

"The United States will not cooperate militarily with Iran in that effort [against ISIS]. We won't share intelligence with them," he said. "But their interests in the outcome is something that's been widely commented on ... and something that on a couple of occasions has been discussed on the sidelines of other conversations."

Fox News' Chad Pergram contributed to this report.

Obama approves sending up to 1,500 more US troops to #Iraq http://fxn.ws/1xi1arG via @foxnewspolitics
WASHINGTON – President Obama has approved sending up to 1,500 additional U.S. troops to Iraq, more than doubling the number being deployed to help Iraqi forces fight the Islamic State.

The president also requested an additional $5.6 billion on Friday for the war against the Islamic State, in part to cover the additional deployments.

The decisions reflect a deepening U.S. involvement in the region, though the White House again stressed that U.S. personnel "will not be in combat," but rather training, advising and assisting Iraqi forces near Baghdad and Irbil.

Currently, there are about 1,400 U.S. troops in Iraq.

Allegedly, (notice the word alleged), Turk army is fighting among nusra goons and it is illogical to think that the Turks aren't guiding the goon squads. This is a long delayed post I had been planning on Oman. Had first conceptualized this in March of this year in a discussion on the previous avatar of this thread. Mods & other forumers, the importance of this post is in that Oman, IMHO, is the key to our beachhead in the Arabian Gulf, and at this moment Oman faces a possible change in direction with a question over the succession of the ailing Sultan- Qaboos bin Sa'id. Under Sultan Qaboos, Oman had been more favourable to India than any other Gulf state (In fact Qaboos is supposed to be a student of our former President Shankar Dayal Sharma (There is an urban legend that when Shankar Dayal Sharma had visited Oman, Sultan Qaboos had personally received him and driven the car from the airport himself and taken him to stay at the Royal Palace- whereas other dignitaries are housed in the royal Al Bustan Palace Hotel).

I started this post attempting to distill eight + years of living in Oman into a single post and this seems difficult. So what I will do is point the reader to certain facets with a single line or two and highlight resources where the author can find more details. The reader may find the post anecdotal and rambling at places, but I beg your understanding.

To give it a framework, I will break this up into four sections:

1) Forget Chahbhar, Socotra & Dubai, Here's Oman-Oman's Geopolitical Importance to India- Covering geography of Oman, Indian influence in Oman, economics.

2) The Omani Identity- All Arabs are equal, but some are more equal than others- Delving into the psyche of how Omani's are distinct from other Arabs. What are the major influences on Oman history. What are the distinct fault lines in Oman? Is Ibadism, really the defining identity of Oman? Who are the major power players in Oman?

3) Other external influences on Oman- Who are the external competitors and major power-brokers in Oman vis-a-vis India?

4) Future Trends in Oman and what could be areas of interest for India

Disclaimer: This is a personal opinion piece wherein I have tried to distill my experiences in the Gulf states, particularly Oman into a short article showing that out of the GCC countries, Oman holds out from the rest. Positioned at the tip of the Gulf, with slightly better relationships to India, I believe that this is a country which needs our special attention and understanding

The Kurdish Peshmerga is famous for its use of female soldiers, all of whom battle alongside their male counterparts on the frontline.

As a result, they are on the sharp end of the fight against ISIS who, according to Colonel Rashid, are particularly terrified of women fighters because they believe that men dispatched by women won't go to Paradise.

'ISIS are real hypocrites,' she sniffs, disdainfully. 'They think if they are killed by women Peshmergas, they aren't going to go to heaven. '

Fate of ‘critically wounded’ ISIS chief unclear
The leader of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, was “critically wounded” when a U.S.-led air strike targeted the western Iraqi border town of al-Qaim, tribal sources told Al Arabiya News Channel on Saturday.

Read also: Can ISIS maintain the ‘Caliphate’ without Baghdadi?

U.S. Central Command confirmed in a statement that U.S.-led air strikes targeted ISIS leaders near their northern Iraqi hub of Mosul late Friday, without confirming whether Baghdadi was killed, AFP reported.

“This strike demonstrates the pressure we continue to place on the ISIL [ISIS] terrorist network and the group's increasingly limited freedom to maneuver, communicate and command," U.S. Central Command said.

Anbar province MP Mohammad al-Karbuli told Al Arabiya News Channel that coalition aircraft had targeted a gathering of ISIS leaders in al-Qaim that led to the killing of tens of people and wounded many more.

Karbuli said chaos ensued the air raid with ISIS members scrambling to transport their wounded to al-Qaim hospital which was overwhelmed with the number of patients.

Reuters news agency quoted two witnesses as saying an air strike targeted a house where senior ISIS officers were meeting, near al-Qaim.

The witnesses said ISIS fighters had cleared a hospital so that their wounded could be treated. ISIS fighters used loudspeakers to urge residents to donate blood, the witnesses said.

The agency also quoted residents as saying there were unconfirmed reports that ISIS’ local leader in the western Iraqi province of Anbar and his deputy were killed.

so the US must be having paid moles or double agents high up in the ISIS ranks to know which house to target in middle of the night in some unknown iraqi town. the details of such meetings would be closely held between the elite and their inner security detail.

Turkey’s Quagmire
A couple of weeks later, Erdoğan himself unleashed a furious anti-Western diatribe at Istanbul’s Marmara University. In his speech, he compared the West’s interference in the Middle East today with the British officer Lawrence of Arabia’s involvement in the Arab Revolt against the Ottomans during World War I, and blasted the Sykes-Picot Agreement, which has since defined the Middle East’s political map.

The similarities with the views of the Islamic State are glaring. In a video produced after the battle for the Mosul Dam in August, the group called for the “end of Sykes-Picot,” and proclaimed the need to redraw the Western-imposed political map of the Middle East.

Apparently, the entire ISIS top squad was 'trained' in American prisons in Iraq. Easy to recruit/plant moles during this time.

PS
ISIS came at a very opportune time for the American empire - when they are withdrawing from AfPak, and need to redeploy their forces to Middle-East, which was their real target from the very beginning.

Now that Baghdadi's antics have brought the US armed forces back to the Middle-East, he is no longer needed.

The Saudis don't have to fear anything from Turks. The Saudis control the Oil, they control the Sunnah, and more importantly they control the regional demographics through the Arabic language!

Saudis need Turks to take down Syria and Shia Iraq and help the Arabs to take down Iran, and subdue the Kurds. For that the Saudis are willing to show the Turks the promise of a revival of the Ottoman Empire. Saudi Arabia doesn't mind that Erdoğan looks into the mirror and sees Selim I or Suleiman the Magnificent, as long as he is doing Saudi Arabia's bidding.

In the end, Turks would end up destroying their own country, much on the lines of Pakistan, in their efforts to transform Middle-East, and when the Turks are exhausted, depleted and destroyed, along would come the Saudi-Wahhab combo, and take over the Middle-East.

Turkey needs to reclaim its hinterlands in the crimea and caucasus to reclaim its vigour and reclaim its status as the top dog in the Islamic world. That clash is coming. They know it and the Russians know it as well. This will be an additional headache they can do without.

If Russia falls apart, Turkey will be a major beneficiary.
