Admission of state sponsored terrorism by Pakistani authorities

see this Der Spigel Interview where Musharraf admits to that.

On 7th Nov in TimesNow Channel, Tasneem Noorani, a former Secretary of the Pakistani Interior Ministry, openly said that.

Kiyani called the Haqqanis as strategic assets.

In Dec. 2008, President Zardari himself admitted to ISI helping LeT. He said,"The links between the Inter-Services Intelligence Agency and the LeT were developed in the old days when dictators used to run the country. After the 9/11 terror attacks in the US, things have changed to a great extent"

In an address to bureaucrats in July 2009, President Zardari said: "Militants and extremists were deliberately created and nurtured as a policy to achieve some short-term tactical objectives. Let us be truthful to ourselves and make a candid admission of the realities. The terrorists of today were the heroes of yesteryears until 9/11 occurred and they began to haunt us as well"

In Nov. 2009, Prime Minister Gilani admitted to the support for terrorism by Musharraf as "running with the hares and hunting with the hounds".

When Bush warned the Pakistanis in August 2008 of their support to Al Qaeda, Afrasiab Khattak, President of Awami National Party (ANP) said this: "The question is why it has taken the Americans so long to see what the ISI is doing. We’ve been telling them for years but they wouldn’t buy it.". See here.

In an interview to the BBC as far back as on Feb. 13, 1994, Benazir Bhutto admitted how she handed over to Rajiv Gandhi the complete list of Sikh activists colluding with the ISI in terrorism in the Punjab. Later, Nawaz Sharif described this interview as a faux pas.

Apart from these, of course, numerous Pakistani commentators, analysts, and editors have openly admitted to terror as a state policy.

Why Did Pakistan's Spy Chief Make a Secret Trip to China?
Quote:
Pasha's China trip has been interpreted by some as a tacit act of defiance—a reminder to his American counterparts that the Pakistanis can always look east to their “all-weather” friend across the Himalayas rather than bend the knee to the will of the U.S.

But it also may be a sign of China's growing disquiet with Pakistan. Another top-ranking Pakistani military officer, Lt. Gen Wahid Arshad, had already conducted a considerable tour of China just weeks ago in a bid to improve ties. A few analysts have suggested that Pasha's trip — couched in vague terms about building a “broad-based strategic dialogue” — may have been less a visit and more of a summons.
Quote:
Chinese officials claimed the attacks in Kashgar were authored by the shadowy East Turkestan Islamic Movement, a jihadist organization of mostly ethnic Uighurs, a Turkic Muslim minority that comprises the majority in the far-western Chinese region of Xinjiang. China routinely invokes the specter of the terrorist threat when cracking down on dissent in the restive region. Yet disturbances there tend to be triggered more often by social discontent — many Uighurs chafe at state policies they deem discriminatory and marginalizing — than militant connivance. Pasha's presence in Beijing may mark Beijing's continued efforts to root out Uighur dissidents and sympathizers beyond China's borders, as it has already done in Kazakhstan.

The writer teaches public policy in the UK and is the founding member of the Rationalist Society of Pakistan.
The Rationalist Society is in exile!
In Pakistan, hypocrisy is institutionalised on various levels of society. Junaid Jamshed constantly issued venomous statements against the 100 million living females of Pakistan yet he remained a darling of the media and its viewers. Neither was he ever boycotted nor did his super expensive apparel business suffer. However, hardly had he uttered something that referred to a personality from the distant past, so strong was the reaction that he had to flee alive from his dil dil Pakistan. Day and night Junaid Jamshed taught us that secularism was a synonym for evil. Today he has found refuge in the streets of London, a secular, evil city.

NEW DELHI: It was the United States which alerted India of an impending major terror strike in Delhi by Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba, triggering a comprehensive security review of the national capital by the Delhi Police and Intelligence Bureau.

"The alert came directly from US intelligence agencies...it was not a pin-pointed information and did not specify any place or time of attack but the input said there was clear intelligence with the US of a big terror strike somewhere in Delhi by LeT," a senior Home Ministry official told ET.

The government has decided to take no chances as the said tip-off from the US came shortly after the visit of US President Barack Obama to India was confirmed for being the chief guest at the Republic Day.

http://www.csp-world.com/news/20141212/ ... e-pv-plant
JA Solar has supplied 100 MW of PV modules for the Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park in Bahawalpur, Pakistan, the first large-scale solar farm in he country.

The project comes after efforts to address Pakistan's energy shortage and is enclosed in the key project of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. Energy demand in Pakistan has grown approximately 8 percent annually, leaving the country with an estimated deficit in energy production of 6 GW.

The project is located in Punjab, one of the sunniest provinces of Pakistan with about 3,000 hours of sunlight every year. However, in summer, the arid region reaches temperatures up to 50 ºC, a fact that leads to the need of high quality and durability PV modules.

http://www.thenews.com.pk/Todays-News-1 ... escheduled
A Chinese delegation, headed by Chinese State Councilor and Minister for Public Security Guo Shengkun, is visiting Pakistan to reschedule the Chinese president’s visit and share the views about the growing threats to Chinese interests by four terror outfits operating in Pakistan. ...

....The sources said, “The Chinese officials have pointed out four organisations that according to them are planning to target Chinese interests in various cities of Pakistan including East Turkestan Islamic Movement (ETIM), Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Al Qaeda and a banned Sindhi separatist group Sindhu Desh Liberation Army (SDLA).

.....The sources said some 12,000 Chinese experts, engineers and technicians are working on about 120 projects in different parts of Pakistan including the economic corridor between Pakistan and China, the largest nuclear power plant in Karachi, and a China-based cell phone company’s 4G operations.
Also, look, US is taking out ETIM leaders presumably on China's behalf; why not LeT on India's behalf? :)
According to reports, Etim-linked militants have been operating in the Pakistani tribal areas since 2009. It has lost a number of its leaders in US drone strikes or attacks by the Pakistani security forces in North Waziristan.

The reports said chief of Etim Hassan Mashom was killed by Pakistani troops in 2003 while his successor, Abdul Haq Turkistani, was killed in a drone attack in Mir Ali in May 2010. Abdul Shakoor Turkistani, who had replaced Abdul Haq and was killed in a US drone attack on his training camp in Shawal Valley of North Waziristan in August 2012, was also the al Qaeda chief for the Fata region of Pakistan.

X Posted from the “ISI-History and Discussions” thread.

The Inter Services Intelligence Directorate aka ISID aka ISI, notorious Mohammadden Terrorist fomenting intelligence arm of the Uniformed Jihadi’s of the Military of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, seems to be busy in planting stories in their media about Indian links to Mohammadden Terrorism. Interestingly the Newspapers on their part are giving no credit to individual journalists or wire agencies for the stories which normally would have media falling over themselves to take exclusive credit given the spectacular nature of the stories.

Islamic Republic of Pakistan based newspaper the Nation reports that Mohammadden Terrorist group Al Qaeda operates their Pakistan chapter from India rather than Mohammadden Terrorist friendly safe haven, Pakistan, with the headline “India based Al Qaeda behind Naval dockyard attack”.

India based Al Qaeda behind Naval dockyard attack

In an another article also datelined today, Islamic Republic of Pakistan based newspaper the Express Tribune reports India will launch a Mohammadden Terrorist attack on her own citizens in order to blame the Islamic Republic of Pakistan:

TALK OR THE WHOLE REGION WILL SUFFER

http://www.thehindu.com/news/national/t ... 687652.ece

Some quotes:
Mr. Leghari is leading a 12-member Pakistani Parliamentary delegation to India for the sixth round of Pakistan-India Parliamentary Dialogue, an initiative by the Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency, being held here.

....

Responding to questions, Mr. Leghari said there was something wrong on the Indian side with respect to talks. “Nawaz Sharif has always been ready to talk. Talks for talks are necessary,” he said.

“We have a strong appetite for improving relations and peace, but talks are not a concession from Pakistan. Talk if you want to or else the whole region will suffer.”

Mr. Leghari said he was surprised that Mr. Modi’s no-talks stance had found resonance among the articulate section of the Indian society. He felt there was a degradation in relations between the two countries since Mr. Modi came to power.
...
Lagta hain leghari ka lehnge ka naada dhillan ho gaya aur lehnga gila ho gaya...

Translation:

It appears that the "nada" string tying his "lehnga" [not the pajamas, but the lehnga the wimmens wear] has come loose, and Leghari wetted his lehnga.

I wonder which “Region” that would be?

The steppes of Central Asia or the sands of the Arab lands of West Asia given that the citizens of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan lose no opportunity of claiming ancestral links to those parts of Asia?

Why, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan would lose no opportunity of claiming ancestral links to any "Region" of Asia as long as it was not the Indian Sub-Continent  .

Pakistani terrorists doing charity in Gaza, report says
http://www.jpost.com/Middle-East/Pakist ... aza-384290
The Pakistani terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba, accused of carrying out the 2008 Mumbai attacks, is now reportedly engaged in charity work in Gaza. The Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI)’s Jihad and Terrorism Threat Monitor has found evidence that the Pakistani group’s charity arms – Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) and Falah-i-Insaniat Foundation (FIF) – are active in the Gaza Strip.Tufail Ahmad, director of the South Asia Studies Project at MEMRI, told The Jerusalem Post on Wednesday that “the move by Lashkar-e-Taiba to establish a footprint in Gaza seems to be part of a well-thought-out jihadist strategy from Pakistan.”It also “validates the global jihadist ambitions of the Pakistani jihadist groups, especially Lashkar- e-Taiba and its charity arms,” he said. The founder of these charities is Hafiz Muhammad Saeed, a former academic-turned-terrorist leader whom India accuses of playing a role in the November 26, 2008, terrorist attacks in Mumbai, according to the MEMRI report, which was released Monday.Jamaat-ud-Dawa and Falah-i-Insaniat Foundation are seen as a branch of the Pakistani Inter-Services Intelligence agency, says Ahmad, and “their presence in Gaza could pose a long-term security threat to international peace, especially because Pakistan sees its national interest in Palestine.”Moreover, Pakistan’s army chief Raheel Sharif “recently warned that world peace depends on resolving the Palestine and Kashmir issues,” he added. On December 4-5, the charity groups’ leaders organized a two-day mass rally in Lahore, where Saeed “called for jihad in support of oppressed Muslims everywhere, but especially in Kashmir,” reported MEMRI.The “Palestine”-based Muhammad N. Ziara addressed the rally on the first day as well, the report continued, and tweets by FIF appear to show that Lashkar-e-Taiba and the two charity arms are actively offering aid in Gaza.”Another tweet from the speech read, “Palestinians Suffered a lot under the Jewish occupation of Palestine & now Its time 4 #Ummah to stand together & fight the enemies of islam.”

RAW is using RAW recruited, trained and bred reservoir of hired terrorists. For this planned activity, RAW has hired the services of some notorious media channels.
This is not even coherent! What a stupid newspaper!

Of course the source is ISI, but is the quality of ISI's intel no better than Zaid Hamid's rants?

With institutions like these al-Bakistan is no more a failing state, it has FAILED! :rotfl:

Take it for what it is--a quick & dirty telegraphing by ISI that they will be attacking India very soon, and they plan to blame it on RAW.

They didn't publish this with the goal of getting high marks and a pat on the back from India or BRF for a good, coherent job of propaganda. They are pakis. There is no need for them to be super-sophisticated about it, given that Pakis, US et al are all eager to swallow denials by Bakistan.

Agree. But nevertheless it is stupidity (and totally unnecessary) to indirectly admit to a possible attack ahead of time. The fact that US will be eager to endorse ISI stupidity doesn't make it less stupid.

I don't want to keep pushing this (but I will), but I think, when it comes to pakis, engaging in some abstract judgment over the quality of work is a distraction from the real threat these predatory creatures pose to us. What goes or comes of our father if the article is "stupid" or not? Its standard is probably enough for the purpose--create some propaganda noise in advance of a planned terrorist attack so that, once the attack comes, the noise will be part of the obfuscating plausible deniability that will be supplied to those who are ready to buy it.

By wasting our energy and focus on judging this stuff "stupid" (of course it is, but that's not the point here), we are also in danger of getting into a frame of mind of underestimating or downplaying the threat that Pakistan poses.

Take something like the Ebola virus. It probably can't write a decent propaganda piece either, and very likely it also sucks at third-order integral equations. That makes it "stupid" by our standards. Pakistan is like the Ebola virus, except that it is sentient and has volition and motivation.

Joh Wana mein g**du, woh Wolverhampton mein bhi g**du.

In the UK a case of Cradle snatching Love Jihad gone wrong.

Pakistan born octogenarian named Mohammed Rafiq arranges to have acid thrown on his Mohammadden convert girl friend Aleena Rafiq aka Vikki Horsman who was his junior in age by 60 years.

Mohammadden men originating in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan certainly have a thing going for young girls as evidenced by a spate of sexual grooming cases involving them in the UK such as what happened in Rotherham:
This is the 80-year-old man who hired two thugs to throw acid in the face of his ex-girlfriend when he became convinced that the 20-year-old was seeing another man after their relationship ended.

Vikki Horsman was left horribly burned and disfigured after she was doused with the sulphuric acid as she went to answer the door at her friend's house in Tividale, West Midlands.

Her ex-lover, Mohammed Rafiq, was today found guilty of arranging the attack in revenge for Miss Horsman, who had converted to Islam during their relationship, breaking up with him.

Pakistan-born Rafiq persuaded Steven Holmes, 25, and Shannon Heaps, 22, to carry out the attack and initially pretended he was also a victim after he too was splashed by the acid.

All three were today found guilty at Wolverhampton Crown Court of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent. They will be sentenced next Friday.

The court heard that Miss Horsman converted to Islam and even changed her name to Aleena Rafiq after meeting the pensioner, more than six times her senior, when she was just 14 years old.

She had described the breakdown of her relationship with Rafiq, who she had been sleeping with since she was 18. …………………………

KLNMurthy, I take your point, but it is a psychological war at its heart, and this is a good occasion to call the ISI enemy stupid and have a large part of humanity agree.

There is a negative view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Pakistan, according to Awais Khan Leghari, Member of Pakistan’s National Assembly.
I assume it was MSA's hostility. Both our Track-II clowns and theirs will revel in Hindu/Modi bashing, in fact, they would bring up Modi were they not gaoded along by our side.

One of the track-2 Pakis was on Undy. When the anchor asked why Hafeez pig, who is a terrorist which even UN deems so, he relied why India not implementing UN resolutions on Kashmir, to which the anchor had not counter and let him get away with that grotesque equal equal.

IIRC, Paki Mofos who happen to be members of parliament cannot be denied visa, or some such bureaucratic loophole to allow political contact.

It was a very correct decision to not allow pukis in the Hockey India League.
link .

The language of the pukis link
“We will go with our 9-11 strategy against India tomorrow (Saturday),” Pakistan coach Shahnaz Sheikh said, expecting some raised eye brows.
Wait, don’t misunderstand me it’s not that 9-11 which you are thinking. :-? It’s a strategy that we have adopted. By 9-11 I mean we will attack with nine players leaving behind two at the back and defend with 11 players. So I call it 9-11,” said the classy center-forward of yesteryears, who was a member of Pakistan’s silver-medal winning team in 1972 Munich Olympics team.
9-11 is usually referred to the infamous terrorist attacks on the World Trade Centre in New York.

Six unidentified bodies recovered in Nowshera
Six bullet-riddled bodies of unidentified people have been recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Nowshera district on Saturday, police officials said.

Rabnawaz Khan, a senior police officer told local TV channels that the bodies were found by a river in Nizampur on the outskirts of Nowshera. They had been gunned down, he added.

“Apparently, these bodies have reached the area after floating in the river from somewhere else,” said Khan, adding that identity of the dead and the reason behind their likely murder was not yet known.

According to the officer, local administration has shifted the bodies to district headquarter hospital, Nowshera for identification and postmortem.

Eyewitnesses accounts suggest that the dead, who are said to be between 18 to 30 years of age, were gunned down on Saturday morning or the day before at the most.

This is the second such incident in the area in less than a month’s time as police had recovered four bodies stuffed in gunnysacks in Bara Banda area of Risalpur on November 18.

Similar cases had surfaced in Peshawar also before a suo motu notice was taken on the issue by former chief justice Peshawar High Court (PHC), Dost Mohammad Khan. The court notice saw substantial decline of such cases.

The crow is white, Bengal is Pakistan
It had begun in 1947 already. The people who were handed over the reigns of the new country on August 14 were tasked with working out a system which allowed all the above-mentioned entities to coexist peacefully and prosper together.

But when they sat down to figure out this formula for an equal distribution of power, every option they considered led to the same concern: the Bengalis were more in number than all the rest put together, and under a democracy, nothing could bar them from getting a majority share in the new state.

Now that did not sit well at all with the infant country's larger, grander designs of spearheading a new Islamic renaissance and hoisting its flag on every other building in South Asia.

Parrikar’s comments provocative: Pakistan
Pakistan on Saturday said that “unfounded allegations” and “provocative statements” made by Indian Ministers were not conducive to “peace in the region.”

“There must not be any miscalculation about Pakistan's resolve to defend itself and thwart any aggression,” the Pakistani Foreign Ministry spokesperson said. The Pakistani statement is in apparent response to Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar’s comments on Friday. According to a PTI report, Mr. Parikkar said: “I feel that there has to be some strong response which will once and for all or at least reduce this blatant attempts. It's an open secret that they [militants] came from Pakistan,” he said, adding, “you will see the developments in the next six months.” “I am not talking of a full scale war. Full-scale war is totally different. But if there are places where you get the terrorists across, there are people who do it. I think those people will have to be brought under pressure,” the PTI quoted the Minister as saying.

Not just 7 mins but 1 hour 7 mins late.
“We went twice on Friday (Her staff gave us time at 12. We reached a little after that and she left her office,” Gudlam said. “I think there was some miscommunication. She seems busy,” said his colleague, Maiza.
The speaker said she was unaware of the delegation. “I was waiting for them, but nobody came,” she said while leaving the Parliament. Her office said she was not obliged to meet the Pakistani MPs as the delegation was of private nature.
BJP MP Kirti Azad who was in charge of receiving the Pakistanis said he had urged them to come on time, but they arrived at 1:07pm.

Congress approves defence bill, CSF for Pakistan
Behold Bhikhari Bragging Bheekh: Bakistan A Billion Dollar B..nd Rental Property
WASHINGTON: The US Congress has approved a massive defence spending bill for 2015, including a provision that extends the Coalition Support Fund (CSF) for Pakistan for a year. The provision is part of an attached bill known as `S. 2410’ and includes some new conditions on releasing CSF reimbursements to Pakistan. The bill, now known as the National Defence Authorisation Act, 2015, includes $63.7bn in overseas contingency operations, which was previously called the US-led war against terror. Support to countries like Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq come from this provision.
The provision that concerns Pakistan, however, is included in S. 2410, which was attached to the original bill by the US Senate.Besides other issues, S. 2410 deals directly with US efforts to counter terrorism and supervises the CSF, which reimburses allied nations for fighting terrorists. The provision clarifies that Pakistan cannot receive more than a billion dollars in a year from this fund.Pakistan received $370 million from this fund in October this year. The annual imbursements are made in four instalments. The final text shows that the support fund for Pakistan has been extended till US fiscal year 2015.Of the total amount of reimbursements and support authorised for Pakistan during fiscal year 2015, $300m shall not be eligible for the waiver unless the US Secretary of Defence certifies to the Congressional defence committees that Pakistan has “undertaken military operations in North Waziristan that have contributed to significantly disrupting the safe haven and freedom of movement of the Haqqani network in Pakistan”.The secretary will also be required to certify that Pakistan has taken steps that have demonstrated a commitment to “ensuring that North Waziristan does not return to being a safe haven for the Haqqani network”.Not later than 90 days after the date of the enactment of this Act and every six months thereafter, the Secretary of Defence shall, in consultation with the Secretary of State, submit to the appropriate committees of Congress a report on the nature and extent of bilateral security cooperation between the United States and Pakistan.

US monitoring mass conversions in India

December 13, 2014, 4:34 pm/

WASHINGTON- The United States said that it was closely monitoring reports of forced mass conversions in India.

“We are aware of recent reports regarding alleged coercion in mass conversions in India, and are monitoring the situation closely,” said a statement issued by the US Department of State. The issue of mass conversion was raised at the State Department’s regular briefing on Thursday, but the spokesperson Jen Psaki, promised to respond later.

“We work to promote respect for freedom of religion and belief in all countries around the world. We call on all states to comply with their obligations to protect religious freedom, as per international norms,” the statement said.

Clicky
State Department Briefing of Thursday does not have any record that conversion of Mohammaddens to the religion of their ancestors even came up. See below link for the transcript of the US State Departments daily briefing for Thursday mentioned as being the source of the news item published in the above quoted article that appeared in a newspaper published in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan:

DPB Thursday

For the record neither was there any record that the matter came up in the State Department Briefing of Friday:

DPB Friday

Nor for that matter was there any record that the matter came up in State Department Briefing of Wednesday:

DPB Wednesday

No FIH event in India until all Pakistani hockey players are punished: India
Taking strong exception to FIH’s “weak” censure to Pakistani players for their obscene behaviour after beating India in the Champions Trophy semifinal, Hockey India on Sunday decided that it would not host any event sanctioned by the world body until strong punishment is handed out to the offenders.

The Pakistani players made obscene gestures towards Indian fans and media after their win last night but no action was taken against them by the International Hockey Federation (FIH) after their coach Shahnaz Sheikh offered an apology.

“It was a shameless and condemnable incident but the FIH took a very weak and feeble decision. It is not acceptable to us. We have made it clear to FIH that such sort of behaviour from sportspersons is not acceptable to Indians,” HI president Narinder Batra told PTI from New Delhi.

“So we have decided not to host any FIH tournaments in India after the Women’s World League Round 3 scheduled in March, which includes the 2018 Men’s World Cup, if they don’t take any strong action against Pakistan,” he said.

Soon after their 4-3 win, Pakistani players went into frenzy and started celebrating their victory in a wild fashion. They removed their shirts, used foul language and made obscene gestures towards the crowd and media, prompting their coach Shahnaz to come into action and take away his players.

Tournament Director Wiert Doyer, who was asked to carry out an inquiry into the matter, then spoke to the Pakistani camp and said FIH has accepted their apology. But Batra said a mere apology is not enough.

“If FIH rules and regulations permit such uncivilized behaviour then they should hold their tournaments in any other country not India because Indian culture and values don’t permit such acts,” the HI chief said.

India and Pakistan were scheduled to resume their bilateral hockey series at a neutral venue in Dhaka soon, but Batra said India will not play any bilateral series with Pakistan after this incident.

“We have decided not to play any bilateral or trilateral series against Pakistan until and unless the Pakistan Hockey Federation gives an unconditional apology for this incident in writing,” he said.

The FIH also has to share the blame for the fiasco as they conducted a hurried investigation into the incident and came out with their views within hours.

“The celebration of the Pakistani team contained some behaviour that warranted further investigation by me as Tournament Director. As a result I have spoken to the Head Coach of the Pakistan team, Shahnaz Sheikh and told him that the behaviour of Pakistan players went beyond what is acceptable to standards of the FIH,” Tournament Director Doyer, who was in charge of the investigation, said in a statement last night.

“The behaviour in question concerned many members of the Pakistan team. It is difficult to find any particular miscreant, and it is possible that the behaviour of the players may have been a reaction. Shahnaz Sheikh has apologised and assured me that this behaviour will not occur again. Given these matters, I’ve decided that no further action is warranted,” he added.

Guess which Crack II nut comes to the defence of Pakis?
Says it was the crowd which first instigated players.

Tsk tsk SV, sportspersons are held to higher standards. That is rule 1.
But let me remind you of Paki sporting tradition.

Inzamam - punching spectator
Waqar / Akram - drugs
Salman Butt / Amit /kamran akmal - match fixing
Asad Rauf - affair with Actress Leena promiing marriage/ IPL match fixing
Aleem Dar - match fixing
Paki hockey players - verbal abuse.

Maybe SV should also be reminded abt Paki spectators during the height of J&K terrorism . They were holding cards
which said "Indian dogs quit Kashmir"

Tournament director Wiert Doyer's act of handing down no punishment has been overruled by FIH and 2 players from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan have been given a one match suspension and one player has been reprimanded.

The FIH U Turn seems to have been forced by India's warning that failure to act against the Islamic Republic of Pakistan by the FIH will see India suspending hosting of tournaments in India:
Two Pakistani field hockey players were suspended and one was reprimanded for making obscene gestures after their team’s semifinal win over hosts India in the Champions Trophy semifinal, the sport’s governing body said on Sunday.

Muhammad Tousiq and reserve goalkeeper Ali Amjad were handed a one-match ban that sidelined them from the final of the eight-nation tournament against Germany.

Shafqat Rasool was reprimanded for the same offense, the International Hockey Federation announced after conducting a hearing with Pakistan coach Shahnaz Sheikh and the players earlier in the day.

“The above-mentioned players were seen making gestures that are considered to be obscene,” the FIH said in a statement without elaborating. The body had earlier cleared Pakistan of any wrongdoing.
Tournament director Wiert Doyer, who investigated the incident soon after the match, had let the players off without any action after Shahnaz apologized for their actions.

The FIH U-turn on Sunday came a few hours after Hockey India chief Narinder Batra demanded an unconditional apology from Pakistan and called for strict action by the governing body.

“I am instructing my CEO to inform FIH that in case this kind of behavior by teams is within normal and tolerable limits of FIH, then we may not be interested to host any more tournaments in India,” Batra said in a statement.

“The tournaments may be shifted to countries which tolerate this kind of nonsense and uncouth behavior.”

Those terrorists should have been arrested if they broke Indian laws. Just because we are hosting a tournament does not entitle guest players to break our laws.
