LNG imports: Consumers to pay millions extra in margins, other costs
ISLAMABAD: The government has decided to impose margins and other charges on the import of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in an attempt to collect millions of dollars from the consumers, which will also go into the pockets of business tycoons having major stakes in gas utilities.

The federal government has banned the exit of many ministers, ex-ministers, MPs and scores of bureaucrats from the country, placing them on a watch list at all exit points of the country.

Sources told The News that the federal government had directed the FIA Immigration Wing not to allow seven provincial ministers, four former ministers, 20 MPAs and 8 MNAs of the PPP and over 100 officers of the Sindh government to leave the country and seek clearance from the law enforcement agencies in this regard.

Just to know that Hajaro Paki have lost their women to Arabs in similar circumstances of husbands being thrown in jail or invited for party and women of miskeen invited in Jannana quarters to be locked in for ever. Husbands are sent back empty handed, leaving wives behind.

Bakistanese display of kendo styx prowess on International Yoga Day
Please to see the believers give a demonstration of their forefathers' techniques.
Up to 20-hours long power cuts were reported in Peshawar, Charsasda, Mardan, Swabi, Kohat, Dera Ismail Khan, Karak and Dir districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa prompting violent protesters to take to the streets.
A grid station was torched by a mob in Charsadda district while district administration offices were set alight in Swabi. Clashes between police and protesters were also reported in several areas.
According to Khawaja Asif, power generation on Wednesday had crossed the 16,000MW mark and the demand-supply gap now stands at about 3,600MW.
For comparison sake:

This raises some questions. The US has been trying for almost two decades now to sell their GE engines but without success. The extraordinary pressure it put on Pakistan was not enough to break the Chinese stranglehold in spite of the proven failure of the Chinese material. Several rounds of purchase saw only the Chinese product being preferred. PR even had to break the platform edges all over the place to make these engines haul their trains. A huge scandal, a probe and yet the Chinese locomotives were the choice. So, what gives suddenly? Are the Americans able to bribe more? Have the Pakistanis understood the uselessness of the Chinese maal?

hmm..they are tightening the screws on PPP. Amidst the Pak-China relations hype, I hope PPP still maintains close ties with US establishment because Zardari will need US support to promise courts that he will return within 4 days of notice and then fly out of Pakistan for good ala good Haqqani 8) In Zardari's case, it will most likely be military courts.

Genetically modified cotton seed ‘blights’ Pakistan’s cash crop
National Institute for Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering, Faisalabad, under Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission, flooded the market with 40,000 kilograms of basic Bt cotton seed that it had made from technology stolen from multinational GM seed producing company
Everything is stolen, not just the centrifuges.

Zardari refuses to withdraw Benazir murder FIR
Marsi Marsi, FIt Na Wapis Karsi:Upcoming Sultan of Sindh
LARKANA: PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari said here on Sunday that ‘all killers’ of Benazir Bhutto, except retired Gen Pervez Musharraf, had died.
Addressing a ceremony held in Naudero to mark the 62nd birth anniversary of Benazir Bhutto, the former president said the slain PPP chairperson had herself lodged an FIR against the former military ruler.Mr Zardari said emphatically that the PPP would never yield to any pressure to withdraw the FIR. This was the key issue, he said, adding that a UN commission had been formed to investigate the assassination of Benazir Bhutto.Don’t worry I will be here with you under all circumstances. We and the party will be here with the support of my children and strength of people and workers. Wherever we go, we are recognised as people from Bhutto’s Larkana and it’s our identity,” he said.
Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah and MNA Ayaz Soomro, who is PPP’s Larkana president, also spoke on the occasion.Meanwhile, Mr Zardari and Mr Bilawal Bhutto separately met Mr Khursheed and, according to sources, exchanged views with him on the political situation in the country.
Talking to journalists at the mausoleum, Chief Minister Shah said that Benazir Bhutto had struggled for democracy and betterment of people and would be remembered for centuries. “Our politics is based on her philosophy and guidelines and for serving the masses.”When asked about reports that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement might join the Sindh government, the chief minister said he was not aware of it, but added that talks through a ‘friend’ were being held with the MQM and at the moment he was not in a position to say anything more about it.About differences with the PML-N, Mr Shah said: “We are working with the federal government to combat and curb terrorism.”

Dailytimes cr*p:

Those infatuated with Mr Modi’s performance in his previous political stint should understand that running a country is vastly different from running a state. In fact, on the economic front, the two are poles apart. Building bridges to nowhere might even kick start a small state’s economy but, on the national level, unproductive projects are a waste. Creating employment for millions every year and improving the quality of life of the masses, including the 60 percent or so living near or below the poverty line, is a tall order. Load shedding, lumbering State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) and a lack of investment are real problems in India as well. And exactly like Pakistan, while cheap oil might have improved the current account balance, long term policy decisions to increase manufacturing require urgent attention. All these facts disprove the fallacy that all of Pakistan’s ills emanated during military establishment rule. India has cultivated exactly the same ills — corruption, bad governance, inflation, poverty, load shedding and SOEs that run at a loss — in spite of being a democracy since independence.
All thanks to the misrule of the congress party, some of whose members literally prostituted themselves to fill their swiss bank accounts.

Doing Taqiyya and keep the masses in ignorance is both an art that the military feudals of pakistan and congress party of india have cultivated. No wonder when a common man like tea seller modi is elected to the highest post it hurts the bloated egos of the mawalis and their dhimmi slaves and they start ranting like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqzeVTyz3E4

India needs to exploit the current friction between the Pakjabi establishment and Sindh's PPP.
Let LKA who himself is a Sindhi issue an statement that India is willing provide all moral and diplomatic support to Sindh and will accept Sindh back in it's fold as the 30th state in the Union of India.

Kiren Rijiju's Interview - Economic Times
Are you planning to renew the ceasefire with NSCN (K) which is behind the attack on Army?

The abrogation of ceasefire by NSCN (K) was sudden and surprising. We were not informed of their intention to abrogate the ceasefire. In fact, we were ready to extend it. They blamed MHA for abrogation but it was a unilateral announcement by them. They are taking support from ISI and other sources. We were ready to extend ceasefire and they abrogated it. There is a possibility of talks but for that they must cease violence.

What is the role of China in the North-East? Is it a force for peace?

I will not comment on that side. But there is heavy presence of ISI in the North-East.

A series of explosions has hit the Afghan parliament in the capital, Kabul, and a number of attackers then raced into the building.
Police are trying to evacuate the parliament which is still under attack.
The incident happened as new Defence Minister Massoom Stanekzai was being introduced to MPs, who need to endorse him.

Afghan Parliament building which was built by India should have been a prime target by Taliban and should have been on the highest security alert regardless of whether parliament was in session or not. The fact that they were able to attack it while it was in session with President and ministers inside is indicative of big security failure by Afghans and the capacity of Talibs / ISI to strike at will in Afghan.

X Posted from the “Pakistan arms sales, ops, doctrine, etc” thread.

First the Punjabi dominated security forces of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan displace some 1 Million Pathan’s / Pushtun’s from the homes and force them into refugee camps.

Then the Punjabi dominated security forces of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan kill 2 Pathan’s / Pushtun’s who have been forced from their homes into refugee camps during the Mohammadden holy month of Ramzan aka Ramadan.

Is killing 2 fellow Mohammaddens during Ramzan what is meant by the” Jihad fi Sabilillah” part of the motto of “Iman, Taqwa, Jihad fi Sabilillah” or translated into English, “Faith, Piety, Jihad in the path of Allah”?

How is it remotely excusable for the Military forces of a country claimed to have been created as a safe haven for the Mohammaddens of the Indian Sub-Continent to slaughter fellow Mohammaddens during Ramazan?

How also is it remotely excusable for a country that loses no opportunity anoint itself with all manner of Mohammadden titles such as Islamic Republic, Sole Mohammadden Nucler Power and Citadel of Mohammaddenism to kill fellow Muslims during Ramzan?:

J&K: Pakistan violates ceasefire again as forces battle LeT terrorists to foil infiltration bid
http://www.ibnlive.com/news/india/jk-en ... 09731.html

Kulgam: An encounter is underway between Lashkar-e-toiba terrorists and security forces in Kulgam in Jammu And Kashmir. Security forces launched the joint operation late on Sunday evening after a tip off that two LeT terrorists were present in the Redwani Bala area in Kulgam.

Meanwhile, in another incident, Pakistan Rangers violated the ceasefire and fired at two Border Security Force (BSF) posts at RS Pura sector in J&K.
They opened fire for nearly 10 minutes at 3AM on Monday. BSF forces retaliated and fired back at the Pakistani forces. There are no reports of any casualties yet.

How did they even get near the building? In a war zone which is on 24 hours alert if basic perimeter security cannot be taken care then I don't have much hopes on afghan security forces.

SSridhar Ji :

Here are my Two Paise :

1. The Chinese Locomotives are possibly – like the South Korean ones – of Ripe and Old Vintage having completed their Twenty Five Year Cycle and looking forward to a well earned Retirement.

2. The Pakistan Railways have not maintained the Locomotives as per Manufacturers’ Requirements. An instance is that of using Old Lubricating Oil or not changing the Lubrication Oils or even greasing the parts at required intervals. I believe now they have given a Maintenance Contract to a Chinese Group.

3. All Locomotive Drivers have “TRAINING AND COMPETENCY CERTIFICATES” before they can start Operating the Locomotives. If you compare the Pakistan Railways Locomotive Drivers with their Indian counterparts you will notice that the Indian Drivers have the look of an Engineer whilst the Pakistani Drivers look like an ordinary motor mechanic as the Cwapistanis seemingly unable to train their Locomotive Drivers for the Basic Qualifications required for the Competency Certificates.

Thus the Chinese get away with selling Old Refurbished Locomotives to the Cwapistanis and the Cwapistanis make a hash of the Locomotives as they being driven by a bunch of "Cowboy" Mechanics (I trying not to be harsh) without proper maintenance.

Regarding the Americans : Not only they have heavily bribed the Cwapistanis but also it is most likely that the Cwapistanis have no money to pay the Chinese!

Pakistani Total Debt as on 31-03-2015 is Pak. Rs. 19,299.2 Billion.

On 31-03-2014 it was Pak. Rs. 17,728.1 Billion

As such on 30-05-2015 it should be about 19,700 Billion.

With a “Declared” Population of about 190 Million the Total Debt owed by the each “Mango” Pakistani is about Pak. Rs. 104,000 – Pakistan Cwapabad!

you have to also see that they are taking new loans chiefly to service the older loans. And new loans are high-interest loans and will pull them deeper into debt, pakistanis are complaining that the loans taken by military regime under musharraf were low interest loans and Zardari and Nawaz govts took exclisively high interest loans.

Before pilfering the technology, the NIBGE Faisalabad should have ensured ( see below)
But critics allege that the GM seed was brought to Pakistan for research and development in early 2005 but introduced within a few months. It was effective against Spotted and American bollworms and local Gulabi Sundi but not against the Lashkari Sundi, they say.
Comment: That what happens in Paki- land !

Foreign affairs committee expresses concern over execution of Pakistanis abroad
ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly on Monday expressed serious reservations :rotfl: over the increasing number of executions of Pakistanis in foreign countries.
Comment : As one reader correctly observed that 'almost all' of these executions are in the brotherly country of SA, so why it was not named :D
The committee chairman also raised concerns  over Pakistan’s absence from Milan International Expo that holds importance in the international trade and business community.

Leghari asked FO to confirm the news regarding the Italian deputy foreign minister’s offer to celebrate Pakistan Week during the said exhibition and if true, he questioned as to why the FO failed to ensure Pakistan’s participation in this mega international event.
Comment: What are the Paki 'diplomats' doing in these plum postings ; are the positions in the FA Committee ,Diplomatic Corps And Their National Airline  assigned on the basis of merit or the 'biradari system' that is endemic in the Islamic nation.
I have reliable first hand reports of the 'bad' reputation of Pakis in Italy as opposed to the 'good' reputation enjoyed by Indians, Bangla deshis and Sri Lankans!

I can only imagine the intense taqleef that Pakis must be feeling because of the Yoga Day.
Evil Yindoos spreading Kafirana acts. :((

BTW, what's all this "brotherly nation" nonsense Pakis talk about? It's all about interests, even in Islamic nations. Its bijness. No brotherliness at all.
